I feel like Yu Hao's character is one of the most realisitc male characters I've ever seen in dramas. In real life dating, men are actually like this from my experience. Guys actually don't how to be good partners. I love dramas because always show men instantly liking someone and just being perfectly affectionate and clear with their partner without mistakes but it's just not realisitic. In real life, the ones who learn and adapt throughout the relationship can treat their spouses well, and the ones who don't learn, always leave their significant other unhappy and unwanted.
if a man carried me like that to prevent me from stepping on glass, i would ask for his hand in marriage the very next day. Also the way she said " I have to have you" also made my heart flutter lol.
im starting to get a little bored.... i wasnt expecting the drama to go this way and i honestly find the scenes…
Same. Nothing memorable or worth talking about is happening in this drama yet. Everything about it is just... alright. Which is making me want to drop it, cause there's more compelling stuff to watch out there tbh.
I really fucking hate this show cause the writer has a lot of talent but they're so lazy it hurts. Like excuse me ik you can write decent episodes and you got this whole ass talented cast with amazing chemistry ( I can't stop smiling when all 5 of them spend family time together like its insane). But it's literally been two semesters for me and the characters are still fucking around in the exact same spot they were at since the start of the show. There are good k- soap operas out there, it's not that hard to use a plot device only once geez. I will finish this god awful show but this writer is going on a red list :/
If anyone else has anymore predictions/ theories, please share! :) I just love talking about this show hehe.
I think I read somewhere that the tittle is just their age. 21/25 is the age they officially fall in love with each other apparently after being platonic but maybe you're right it could possibly be a double meaning. Hopefully they do reunite. My heart cant take anything else.
I really hate the current-day version of everything. I think it was very unnecessary to add that as a part of…
Yeah I totally agree! I had this with reply 1988 as well. I can see what they were going for ( cause they wanna build on the suspense and nostalgia with the flashbacks) but it sort of ruins the flow cause the past and future cast have different quality in terms of acting and looks and charcater portrayal. It takes away from the charm of the characters if that makes sense. Like Kim Tae Ri and all the other main cast actors are top caliber so it clashes with the supporting actors they chose for the "future" lol.
This makes sense. Like for whatever xyz reasons they couldn't be together and ended up marrying different people.…
Yeah i'm getting divorce/widow vibes as well. Maybe I'm wrong maybe she doesn't marry anyone in the cast of people we're introduced to ( my 2 best guesses are still Jin woong and even the YJ's little brother lol ? ). I reckon maybe they won't show the dad/ dude she ends up marrying at all. This whole marrying other people in the middle of the story thing makes my heart ache for them.
In the present day, HD's daughter had no idea who YJ was, plus her grandmother ( HD's mother) mentioned that she had bumped into him recently. He must still live in the area but for some reason lost contact with her for many years. My prediction is that their timing must have been off and they ended up with other people ( For some reason due to the cinematography I think HD'll marry JW even though they both love other people). HD and YJ might be shown reunited after all those years at the very end episodes though. It really broke my heart ngl, I'm already too invested in this show. Cried on ep 4 when I realised they'll end up adoring each other but will seperate, let's see when I'll cry again.
