Someone in the comments said "People still watch Hollywood movies despite their actors scandal".I would have to disagree. In Hollywood usually, once your reputation is damaged just enough for people to stop trusting you on an intimate level, your art also suffers to some extent no matter how good it is. For example, if you take Lindsey Lohan, she was a disney superstar and basically America's sweetheart but once she started taking drugs and speeding, it was all over for her. The media ate at her. The public felt betrayed bcause they were all so charmed by her.Now I don't think producers would cast her even if she paid them. I have no opinion on Seo Yea Ji personally, but to act like korea is miles more unfair than hollywood isn't really accurate. It's more or less the same except for netizens holding a much higher moral standard for the stars ( which refelcts korea's social values). Humans are very biased in nature and don't usually enjoy watching people they wouldn't want to associate with, it ruins the enjoyment factor for them. It's only natural for some viewers to find it distasteful to watch someone who would manipulate and abuse others ( including her own partner essentially). Likewise, it's also natural for some viewers to not care and continue to be entertained by her.
On A Love So Beautiful Sep 6, 2021
I've dropped this twice because of how bad quality this is. So cringy and missing all the warmth and heart of the original C drama. Even without comparing to the OG 'a love so beautiful', this drama was a definite miss in the kdrama world ( which is rare considering how even low budget kdrama productions manage to shine these days).

This is my favourite genre of drama, I need more on this list because I've been using it for recommendations.…
It's my favourite genre as well! My main intention for making this list was for people share their favourites that I may or not have seen ( it's why the list is open for entries). P.S. love your pfp :)

Title Our Secret
I just finished this drama and can I know whether there's any similar good romance youth story like our secret…
'Lovely us', 'A love so beautiful', ' A river runs through it' and ' Le coup de foudre' all have the "growing up from being a teen to young adult while slowly falling in love/growing with friends" plot and are pretty good quality in my opinion. 'Go ahead' extends quite a bit to them being working adults as well and is my personal favourite. :)

Title Our Secret Spoiler
Asking for spoilers: Any misunderstanding, love triangle, breakups or Annoying characters.
I still have 6 eps left but yeah I would say they trust each other a lot but also have misunderstandings. They're still not 'together' as of ep 18 but have a semi 'special friendship'. They got seperated cause they couldn't go to the same uni at first and the girl put distance between them cause she saw him with another girl and the boy saw her complaining to another guy as well ( so they thought they should cut ties as not to hold the other back). Even after the girl confessed the boy doesn't explain his rejection fully?? Even though they weren't 'together' their problems feel like a prolonged break up. I personally felt like there weren't any specially annoying characters.

100% facts! ep 16 was an utter waste of time and you didnt even mention the other part that i thought was dumbwe…
You're abolutely right about that part of it too, I could've written another 500 words on their idiocy but I didn't want to waste too much on this dumb ending haha.

Title Nevertheless, Spoiler
imagine making the most realistic douche male charater rooted in real life and then giving it a fairytale ending by making the FL end up with this douche who's not gonna treat her right
On Stop! Miss Hua Aug 14, 2021
I'm on ep 17 and I feel like I'm barely getting anything. I watch these types of dramas for a short, sweet and light romance but nearly 16 hours in and there is nothing but the ML and FL getting slightly jealous of each other inside and hesitating to confess ugh

If you look at the overall story intended by the original author, they are reborn later and find happiness. However,…
No amnesia but lots of death and seperation towards the end I'm sorry to say. Not even the supporting characters/couples get what they deserve :(

i want to watch this because time travel + Joongi but it seems it ends sadly according to comments and I just…
If you look at the overall story intended by the original author, they are reborn later and find happiness. However, the korean one has only one season and the tragedy is unmatched. The ending will probably leave you feeling hollow and kind of sick, like I did. I hate sad endings the most as well. Life is already so hard, I just want to watch sweet endings. But to be honest, this master piece was worth getting sad for and crying over. I don't regret watching it. I thought you'd like to hear this honest opinion from a person who also looks for fairy tale endings haha.

Actually a lot of tv shows have the ML use the FL as weapon as well. It's a common Jackie Chan thing even. I think…
Oh haha that makes sense. I used to love Jackie Chan films when I was little so thanks for letting me know! :)

Title Golden Blood Spoiler
There's a Bollywood film called " tujh mein raab dikhta hain" where the ML and the FL go to the movies and watch a cringy bollywood romcom. The cringy bollywood movie they watched had a fight scene that was almost identical ( the hero using/lifting/ utlising the heroine in paticular ways to fight off the bad guys) to the one in ep 7. It was so similar in fact that I started to wonder if it was the source for GB but I realised it couldn't be possible because it doesn't make sense to do action sequences for comedic relief in this drama ( sun is a professionaly trained killer and body guard) only their romance has subtle comedic elements. The bollywood film was also mocking this kind of scene ?? But GB seemed serious lol???. I'm not mad about the cringy fight scene or anything ( if anything it made me laugh), but I was very surprised by it just thought I would share my observations haha.

Compare this to other high school drama, like First Love Again, they don't look old too me.
I haven't seen that one sorry. I was thinking about and comparing to dramas like 'A Love So Beautiful', 'Le Coup de Foudre' and 'Lovely Us' etc. It's just my personal opinion I suppose.

Most of the main casts are born in 1995, you can say that they're pretty old for HS students. Our ML, Wang Rui…
Almost all high school dramas are portrayed by actors in their 20's sometimes even 30's but this cast actaully seemed to show it which surprised me. Their actual age doesn't matter to me just the portrayal. Even the ML, not only looks but also acts like an adult in the 20's but like I said I'll continue from ep 5 and like it if the plot is good :)
