I've never gotten into blackpink so I thought this show would just be overhyped and underdeveloped but wow that was the best first episode of a show I've seen in a long time.
I liked how all the villain characters turned out to be black and white instead of just menacingly evil. It's very realistic and gives this already amazing show so much more depth.
yeah so I watched it till ep 3 and nothing special. The storyline is very interesting ( the diff cases and the teamwork) but over allthe drama fails to catch my attention with the lackluster chemistry and average production.
Ok so I also came to this show from RLIAGL. People in the comment section of that show keep mentioning how amazing…
After finishing this show I would say it does have rewatch value but it's really not meant for making the audience feel happy or excited. So I personally wouldn't rewatch it like I would reatch rainless love. The two shows have very little in common. And I hope rainless love steers to a different type of ending cause yikes. I basically agree with everything you said lol. Just wait till the last ep of someday or one day and you'll feel like you just went through something very significant and emotional.
I tried because I heard this might have a similar vibe to the currently airing Rainless Love in a Godless land.…
Ok so I also came to this show from RLIAGL. People in the comment section of that show keep mentioning how amazing this ( someday or one day) show is. The first 2 eps of someday or one day are extremely draggy so I took a break but the plot really picks up from ep 3. It gets a little draggy right before the last ep as well but to be fair every little thing is important to the plot. The show was nothing like RLIAGL ( of the 6 eps I've seen so far since it's still airing) but with it's own style it was quite beautiful. More importantly, it's very memorable and impactful. I feel like I'll reflect on this show even when I'm older.
I can't believe Go Eun agreed to this show tbh. Just a mess from start to finish. I'm glad I watched it, so I never have to wonder whether this show is good or bad. It's def not well done lol. Loved Woo Do Hwan in this sm though. Someone should make a compilation of his scenes so we can just point potential watchers to that.
I say it's a good watch but def not " original" and "fresh" like a lot of people are saying it is. It has literally has every cliche and drama plot device under the sun. And except for the chemistry between Moo Hak and Da li, nothing stood out to me as particularly memorable.
Dude the bollywood vibes in that one scene was immaculate. I would hate to see it all the time, constantly in a show ( like in the cringy indian soap operas of the 2000s). But the scene had such a nice nostalgia factor for me and was so interesting to watch.
Hello, could you please tell me more? Did you mean that they don't have chemistry? Things going very slowly between…
Things progressed very slowly between them. Which would've been fine with me, but even after they got together, it was quite unsatisfying for me. Barely any scenes that lasted for more than a minute or two between them or gave me butterflies. It's spends a lot of time on the other 6-7 supporting characters. I just personally wouldn't say I'd like to have a romance like them or even that I'd want to watch similar dry romances. Not a complete waste of time though, I just wanted to feel SOMETHING when the ML & FL interacted, you know. Also I was so over the lack of flavour towards the end, I just started skipping throught all of it ( even the ML anf FL scenes which I never do with other dramas) so I could get to the ending. Just my opinion though, seems like some people really liked it.
