In a long time, this is the only drama that didn't get draggy or repetitive in the middle. It was quite fast paced since the beginning so I thought it was gonna drag in the later half of the show but now that we are already in Ep. 15 , I can say Each & Every scene added to the story. That precap was kinda misleading Coz actually the king had asked Hwang Tae that if he knows a man named Nokdu but in precap it was edited in a way that he was asking it to Nokdu himself

The way the King keeps on killing anyone that talks against him or his ability as the king shows that he has a deep inferiority complex & has no rational thinking. All he care about is just his throne.
Basically his logic is anyone that comes in the way of his throne will be killed off immediately And Dongju's father was loyal to the previous King (who never wanted Gwanghae to take the throne) hence he killed his whole family for treason.

Yeah at this point, noble idiocy would look pointless but the one who's facing more brunt is my baby Nokdu :'( he has started hating his existence thanks to Gwanghae & Now he also knows his father is responsible for the death of Dongju's family. He just wants to protect his adoptive father and Brother for now coz of which he has signed the merit list for YulMu :'( this is all so heartbreaking :'(
