Yes, I agree. I usually see this green flag ML pattern in cdramas. But I love Xixi's portrayal. He doesn't make it completely fictional and bookish. He adds some sort of real twist even to the green flag characters he play. His medical background also helps in alleviating the characteristics of GYZ.
Though I absolutely hate DYC's guts, when he opened a lab for SWA yesterday I felt it's SWA that has brought this upon herself. I'm hella sure that she was aware of his feelings but she didn't draw that boundary with DYC which she drew even with GYZ (the love of her life). I can't help but feel he was being led on to some extent.
I loved how they addressed GYZ's internal fear under his confident front. I know he must be equally anxious and scared of losing her one day. I really wanted a scene for us to see which they had given us yesterday. Also, the morning scene when SWA explained how loving her and being by her side isn't going to be an easy road for him, I loved how he kept mum instead of saying reassuring words because that'll be him romanticising her condition. I'm glad that they have accepted their reality and are dealing with it accordingly, taking one step at a time.

Yes, I completely agree with you. Kissing scenes have been my only complaint so far. Because I know how good Xixi can kiss. It's sad that some actresses are still aren't so comfortable with kissing onscreen. There are even many popular C actresses who can't open their mouth while kissing.
