I get that TTJ had to look sickly, gloomy and weak at many places. But when he was talking to YXW's corpse you can actually see his foundation. I felt at most places, it was Xixi's acting that made people overlook the makeup. It didn't look odd on him. What I'm saying is the makeup could've been done without anyone noticing indeed makeup was used. But that was not the case in many places. Makeup debate has been one of the major issues of tteotm since the beginning. There are many places where his makeup was great and natural too. However that doesn't change the fact that it was overdone at some places.
Looks were great but makeup wasn't. It was a little too heavy imo. Sometimes it didn't do justice to Xixi's natural facial features. Yeah, filters played a big part as well.
