My only issue with her character was she always jumped to conclusions without analyzing the situation properly when it came to him. She let her prejudices about him get the best of her. However her prejudices about him has to majorly do with the evil bone. She had actually trusted him enough to believe he wouldn't do much harm if she helped XL escape.
However, after knowing the puppet spell being used on her by him and Grandma's death, she really had no reason to trust him anymore.

She thought he had always tricked her.

The dynamic between YXW/TTJ is completely different from LSS/CJM.

In the former, TTJ still had evil bone which is a potential threat to the world while in the latter, she had already taken away his evil bone.
