Surely it doesn't: you didn't rate it yet. The people being referred to, are those who give full marks to a show based on shallow criteria, from the get-go or worst before even its première. Everyone to his own taste, but doing things this way renders the ratings meaningless.

It wasn't the romance that made me drop this drama, it was the reaction of Dom Min Ik secretary when he caught his "driver" sneaking into his office and going through his desk, scenes of such absurdity could only be bearable in pinch near the end of the drama, to fill loopholes or add a required element to the narrative, but there is no way to justify this kind of sloppy writing so early (episode 4), I just can't wrap my head around what was the worth of adding it.
How in the world is the rating still at 8.2? I mean it started good, but the last 12 episodes (at least) have…
Last 12 episodes... you are too generous, be it while rating this drama or with your expectations from other viewers. As a rule of thumb , if the main character is handsome and there is a cheesy romance with ridiculous incidents expect a rating over 8, an obvious happy ending helps to.. other aspects: inconsistencies, gigantic loop holes, flat characters, unrealistic dumb reactions...etc. are of little-to-no consequence.
Because that was Hongyu who was arrested not Hongfeng.
They probably made the switch in the tunnel since he was wearing a scarf before. So in the second season Guan Hongfeng will be the fugitive thus the poster with him pointing guns with Zhou Xun. if so , the smirk on the face of Hongyu is because Zhou Xun thought he could pit him against his twin brother.

Allow me to rephrase my previous comment so nobody conflates my criticism of Baro acting, with my opinion about actual people on the Autism spectrum: Baro portrayal of a developmentally disabled person conforms to a widely held but oversimplified image of the latter, nothing out of the ordinary, so to me saying "He was really good in God's Gift - 14 Days" is like saying "the boy that played the role of grass in his school play was a really good actor."

I enjoyed watching "God's gift", Yes Baro was able to play the character as a stereotypical “Retard”, not a taxing role, besides some quirks he doesn't have a lot to convey. And after watching "Eyes closed" where he plays the main role, and some episodes of "less than evil", IMHO Baro has already reached his acting limits in God's gift. Me referring to him as Idol was coincidental.
As a Luther fan, this drama can never compare. Luther was such a unique brilliant drama that should just stay…
That's why I said it's a LEGO version of Luther, Shin Ha Kyun acts more like Grouchy Smurf than Luther (wearing the same coat doesn't help) and that idol Baro should be kicked out of the acting industry! seriously!
I'm making it a game to count how many "Don'ts for a swindler" is this show going against, up to now I found three: 1. Exposing your face gratuitously at every opportunity in a con job. 2. Leaving evidence that could be traced back to you(fingerprints...) all the time. 3. Never leaving someone on the lookout while secretly trespassing. I suppose it's done intentionally to make the show more suspenseful, but at this extent it is bordering on ridiculous. And then we have the frustrating writer's inability to create a convincing sense of urgency, a mobile phone is MOBILE you can take it to your hideout and recover its contents safely at your leisure...
Every scene is a cheesy "re-enactment" of a cliche, I was restraining myself hoping to watch the full episode, the first one I mean, but reaching the scene where the main actress lip-syncs, blargh... I couldn't anymore.
Lee Shi Young is not suited for comic roles, and her over-exaggerated smiles rather than cute and innocent look creepy dumb, an unfortunate choice for this show that wasn't that great anyway.
Reminds me of Judge vs. Judge, both shows feel like watching little girls playing tea house or to be precise in this case, playing court of justice. So i'm dropping this one too. I feel sorry for Jung Jae Young but he should have been more particular about the roles he takes...
