Is it subbed?
Yes: really excellent and timely (they got the ones including Friday's episode up today, i.e. Monday for those of you in the future) fansubs are available at d-addicts. The raws are available linked at drama-otaku, if you can get in there. It appears the subbed episodes have finally leaked to the usual unlicensed streaming sites but are behind by about 3 weeks at this point.

Agree! I have watched quite a few asadora including the Famous Oshin and I just have not been so hooked like I…
To be fair, I do think Oshin was intentionally produced to look to old even in 1983, and the length of the series was also a throwback to the asadoras of the 60s. Oshin is great, but there are a few asadoras I've liked better than Oshin and I agree that TnT so far is one of them.

(I think the probability of the TnT collapsing in the last nine weeks is small, but that's always a danger in long series. And I will be at least slightly disappointed if Yone does not get a week's storyline.)

Title Tora ni Tsubasa Spoiler
This series is a fictionalized biography of a real person (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoshiko_Mibuchi), and…
A perfectly understandable assumption, but the asadoras about real people tend to be pretty faithful to the real lives of those people with only minor changes. For instance, the real animator at the center of Natsuzora did not marry the director Isao Takahata as she does in the series but did marry another animator at the studio which became Ghibli. And I suspect the fashion designer in Carnation really did have an extramarital affair with one of her employees rather than just thinking about it really hard. (Her husband had died years earlier in the war at that point.) But things like locations, timings and number of family members all seem to be pretty accurately portrayed in the asadoras I have seen at least.

I'm on ep45 and Yuzo san 😭😭😭 we saw it coming but still hurts 🤧I hated that they got a little bit…
This series is a fictionalized biography of a real person (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoshiko_Mibuchi), and it appears from her Japanese Wikipedia page (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E4%B8%89%E6%B7%B5%E5%98%89%E5%AD%90) that it's pretty much exactly what happened to her family. Not that Yoshida Erika is above crafting points into her dramas: her Koisenu Futari is an excellent look at being aro/ace in present day Japan, and she makes lots of relevant points there. Highly recommended.

Actress from Boogie Woogie makes a cameo in week 13. I really hope that asadora gets subbed eventually!
I assume you know that terrible machine translated subs are available. I agree that the series deserves good fan subs. But if anyone is looking for the terrible subs, I've left instructions on where to find them and the RAWs over in the comments for Boogie Woogie here on MDL.

Ito Sairi, ganbatte!Guys, should I watch this drama? Is this good?
I suppose that depends on what you're looking for. For me, it's easily the best jdrama since Brush Up Life, and while I definitely enjoyed Boogie Woogie, I'd say this series is the best asadora since Amachan. It is, however, very much first wave feminism in Japan, and if the idea of women challenging patriarchal power structures is not your thing, then you have my permission not to watch it. That being said, Ito Sairi may not be doing the song and dance that Shuri did in Boogie Woogie, but she utterly deserves also getting the best actress award for the following quarter that Shuri did last quarter - she's delivering a full range of emotions within a very interesting character who is never comfortable being a first.

Title Boogie Woogie Spoiler
Wish there's sub for this one
There are but they are probably machine translations and so the pronouns are pretty much randomized. Still, I got through the series and enjoyed it despite the awful subs. The person making them has moved them off subtitlist but they're still on subdl. Do a google search for "BoogieWoogie(Week1)" with the quote marks to find week1 and "BoogieWoogie(Week2)" to find all the rest. The RAWs can be torrented at acgnx dot se by searching for ブギウギ there.

Thanks for this link. The previous asadora, Boogie Woogie, lost its torrent links at nyaa, but they're still up at this site.

I have watched few jdramas but yet to get me hooked into jdrama, but this one might've get me started!! It was…
Seconding BrightestStar here: Kankuro is one of the most lauded writers in Japan, and this isn't even his best work on Netflix let alone his entire oeuvre. Try his Saving My Stupid Youth on Netflix or take the real plunge (since it's so long: at 156 15 minute episodes) and seek out Amachan his 2013 morning drama which is, in part, about the idol industry. He's been the guitarist in a celebrity punk band since 1995, and so while not every one of his series centers on music, it's clearly important to him.

I ran the Chinese subs through Google Translate and then edited them extensively. Here you go: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uDo7JC6wBMgwKVyBX4MzVfAdJhRhs2Kb/view?usp=share_link…
You're most welcome. This approach will get you access to most of the Japanese media that's available. But if you ever do come across a subtitle file and cannot find the RAWs, the last bastion of hope are torrents like nyaa dot si. Try searching both the title in English and the original Japanese title at the site, and if the RAWs are there, you'll need torrent software to download it. I use the free qBittorent to so. I've only needed to hit the torrents for maybe half-a-dozen things over the years, but it's been necessary for the two most recent NHK asadoras.

Title Ooku Spoiler
Do you think Leshige had Ankyloglossia (tongue -tied) or was it a stroke maybe?
I'm pretty convinced that she had a speech-impediment, and Ankyloglossia is definitely a possibility. I'd guess something more neurological given the bladder control issues as well but my doctorate is not in medicine.

Pretty bad but adequate machine translation subs are now available at subtitlist.net .
It could happen - for instance, Come Come Everybody is now on a Hong Kong subscription site apparently with complete English subs. But here's the issue with Boogie Woogie that just completed: the machine translated subs by the same person who's doing the subs here are done and available for all the episodes, but two weeks ago the RAWs for weeks 1 - 23 just disappeared from the nyaa torrents. And the account that was posting those RAWs is the same one posting these. Therefore, if this poster behaves the same way, you wont have access to all the RAWs when the series is done airing.

Where can I watch it?
Sadly, at this time I'm pretty sure you can't. I was getting the RAWs from a torrent site and was shocked today when only the last three weeks came up. Up to this week all the episodes were out there on the pirate seas.

Yes, but from week 13 on you must download the RAWs from somewhere and the subtitle files from here: https://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=165090…
As I recall, yes. But it goes through WWII and so, you know. But after that it's pretty much an upward trajectory to the end

Looks like you got what you needed from Julianna - I'm glad the series is easier to access than it was 2 years ago. Enjoy!
