I just love how real this show is. I've seen the same issues my friends have gone through after childbirth, and this hits close to home. I'm glad they are calling out the romanticism of being a mother. It's important for women and men to know what they will be getting into when they decide to have a child.
Okay, I'll try this again (third time). Can we stop misinterpreting and being overly critical of the other guy?…
Ah! But that is exactly what a ship war is. And keep in mind that people who do what you said above, and who participate in a ship war, want conflict for entertainment. They are the happiest when they can fight it out with people. They are very much wearing their bias goggles and nothing will change their minds (even though they all say they are open minded LMAO).
It's a never ending cycle of the same thing. It bores me, but people in ship wars love it. Putting down a character who is in direct competition to their bias ship is part of the basics. It has nothing to do with the quality of the show or the writing, and everything to do with their fave ship and who they have a crush on.
If you don't want to see the ship war, I suggest you block a few members who are very vocal in their hate. That's what I did and it makes the comment section much nicer.
What are you talking about? I have mostly seen so many good comments about this drama. I love it too.
The comments you spoke about are primarily the shippers in a ship war. There are plenty who love the show and want to see the character growth. We're just staying out of the ship war.
Watch him in Mr. Sunshine. You won't be disappointed.
In an interview he said that for Mr. Sunshine fittings, he looked like a geisha because of his pale skin. So they decided to darken his skin and give him a beard. LOL.
People saying that they can't feel the chemistry between DS and DM are either blind or know nothing about romance…
Chemistry is subjective. It has a lot to do with personal preference. This is why different people ship different pairings. If chemistry was such an objective thing, everyone would ship the two same characters in everything.
I've been checking different forums and I was so surprised to learn some viewers hate HJP because of the shippers…
That is the super power a toxic sect of a fandom holds. It's natural to hate the character/ship/show that extreme fans try to shove down the throats of unwilling people who just want to have fun, gush and watch in peace.
If anything, I think the fans and shippers who comment on every post asking people why they like their anti because he's problematic should be the ones to remember that this is a drama. They clearly thrive in conflict, which is why ship wars are their bread and butter, but they emotionally exhaust people who really couldn't care less.
I have blocked several people for this reason, but there are soooo many toxic fans out there. And they all believe they are open minded which is hilarious, because they just want to fight, and they hate it when you say 'I agree to disagree' and try to move on.
At the end of the day, toxic fans can ruin a fandom, and by extension cause hate towards the very thing they love the most because of their behaviour. But if you begin to hate it because of how they are, their response is usually, 'Omg it's just a show. We're having fun, chill'. But say anything against their bias and watch how they become the opposite of chill quick.
My main issue with this drama is how Soo-crazy Woo Yeon is. The guy said no and she acted pathetically for years... How is that his fault??? She really is a pathetic female character. It's hard to root for this relationship since she'll go back to him no matter what he does or says.
To be clear, I am loving this show. The characters are awesome. The center itself, though, keeps bugging me in…
That's the entire point of this show, I think. They've taken social norms and made it obligatory at the Birthcare Center so the viewer will feel unease.
Eg:-
1. The fact that a woman alone is said to be responsible for the newborn child. No one even looks for the father or expects him to help.
2. The fact that a mother loses her identity the moment she gives birth. She has no name, but the one given to her by her child. And the mother is expected to be nothing and no one, to sacrifice everything for her child to measure her love. If she looks after herself even a little, she's a bad mother.
3. The fact that a mother's love is measured only by the amount of milk she produces and anything less means she loves the child less. - The Center really emphasizes this by not allowing the mothers to spend time with their child unless it's to feed the child. Because that is their entire purpose now. To be the milk the child feeds from. - The mother's only purpose in life is to serve the child and nothing else.
etc.
These are all things women (especially mothers) advocate and require from other mothers. And the show has taken it to the extreme to show how unreasonable they are being.
this doesn't matter that much but it does come to mind;how is it that every single one of the parents want their…
I can do you one better. How does every single female student have a classical voice??? You have to be born with a voice like that. Not to mention they all have the same singing voice lol.
To be clear, I am loving this show. The characters are awesome. The center itself, though, keeps bugging me in…
I viewed it as if they didn't take the baby from the parents all the time and look after the child, the Center would have no purpose. Why spend a ridiculous amount of money to go stay at a place where all they do is feed you and you take care of the baby? It makes sense to pay that cost so that someone else will look after the child while the moms go for lessons to know how to figure out things once they go home with the child rather than having a grandparent move in so that they can learn on the job.
And I've noticed that unlike treating every mom as a paying customer, the Center is behind the mom hierarchy. They support the first class moms more than the others and mom shame everyone who does not comply. A logical person would not pay for that service... Unless the payment was already made and they are stuck there. lol.

All I want is for SDM to be an amazing boss babe, for NSD to realise his potential and for HJP to find a family.

Meanwhile, the people who like all the characters are watching for the plot.
