Not me rewatching the trilogy and the last movies all in a row to see Kenshin and Kaoru get together, just so that in the last movie I start shipping Kaoru with another guy 😂
Ps: I know they are like, 20 years apart and that she's a minor in the originals, but I think the movies narrowed that down. She's looks at least 20
They consider themselves married and share a room. It’s kind of assumed they are having sex. The Yangban noble…
My point is, that's a big thing for her character, so it should be shown. She didn't know anything about love (I'm not counting the flirt with the other guy), how is She dealing with that? How did he deal with that? They never talked about their feelings or their relationship. I liked that before, but now that they are "married" it's weird cause it's oficial, but it's not at the same time xD
I loved the first 10 episodes, but now I feel like their romance is fading after getting married, and also, Cha Dol suddenly stopped appearing. It's weird, the family chemistry was central in the drama. We are not seeing any married interactions, or any mother-son interactions too. Like, they suddenly decided she was going to be a wife and mom to others, but how does that play internally? Does she act like a mother? The scene in which he warmed her hands was beautiful, but in this episode we didn't get any lovey-dovey scene :/ idk
I'm still loving it, I just hope that the writter keeps showing us their family chemistry, now that they are a family as a matter of fact. Like, i don't even know if they kiss or do other stuff xD She was a virgin. Is she still one? That would change the character
Tbh, when all dramas were slow burn I couldn't stop watching them for days, it was obsessive, but now I often stop the dramas around ep 10, cause when the main leads become a couple soon I get bored xD
The Piece of Your Mind is very slow, and I'm sure it's not for everyone, but the romance was great, and I often go back to rewatch his confession, cause it was freakin creative. Now I'm watching Bossam: Steal the Fate and I'm addicted too, because it's slow burn romance xD
Oh, I prayed they would change the actor instead of cancelling the drama but I never expected them to do that. Only after watching the entire episode wondering who the new guy was I come here and find out they changed the actor.
I was already shipping her with the general, though T-T
I think the cinematography for this was pretty unique. I loved how in only one scene they showed us many characters and flashbacks without breaking the flow. The editors did an amazing job. I felt like watching a movie every time
I have the same problem with her character. Guess the SK is not that ready for strong and intelligent female characters.…
It's not because he is a male, but because he is experienced with business. In Jae also could see what they were about to do, because she has done business before. Dal-Mi is not only inexperienced, but not educated on that area. As for Sa-ha, I've said this in another comment, but the problem was that it wasn't a bad contract, and that's why a lawyer couldn't do it. The contract respected the law and all that, but as inexperienced business people, they just couldn't possibly guess what they were to do with such a respectful contract. JiPyeong did cause he studied business, and he has worked on that for YEARS. Business is messed up for stuff like this. I actually think this was extremely realistic. If they succeded on their 1st business, it would be dumb.
Up until now I really enjoed this show! However, I don't get why a lawyer didn't noticed the scamm before signing…
I don't think it's badly written. The thing is that it was a normal contract. It wasn't a scam. The contract was straightforward. They bought Samnam. They were just naive. After buying it, they could do what they wished with it, and they never imagined that they only wanted the people and not the product. Let's not forget that they are young inexperienced people, probably insecure. Why would they be interested in the team and not the product? That's not someone without experience would imagine.
Also, there are lawyers that focus just on one type of problems. Lawyers for divorces, for work, etc... She is also young, so I doubt she spent a long time in that career. 3 years at the most. But even so, this was not a matter of being a bad contract. She, as someone inexperienced with business, wouldn't know what they could do with that contract. Only someone experienced with business would, and that's why Ji Pyeong could tell their intentions in a contract that was good, and the lawyer couldn't. That's actually a very realistic thing. Youngsters usually fail on first business cause 1st it's really hard 2nd there are a lot more experienced people who use their lack of knowledge.
Regarding to Ji Pyeong, mentors aren't always around. They are not parents. I've had a mentor once and all we exchanged was one email cause I never asked him anything else, also because it's not a full-time job. They volunteer to be mentors while they have their own jobs. It'm more about the kids asking questions and having them answered than having the mentors following them around. That won't happen. It does look like Mentors at Sandbox are more present, but still, that's not how it works, and it's not his fault. The fault was the big company using their inexperience and the team not looking out for a more experienced opinion before doing something so huge
Dalmi is damagedDo San is toxicHJP is toxicStephanie’s character is toxic Do San’s friend w/ a dead brother…
I mean, I agree with you, but the thing is, except for the adults, I can see why, and I think it's good to include that in a show.
I feel that most of the toxicity in the world (not all) is brought up by our surroundings, and can be cured by our surroundings too. Do San is toxic because his father raised him like that. In Jae is toxic cause her stepdad and mom were. Ji Pyeong grew in a real harsh reality and had to put on an attitude to survive.
But all of these characters are improving their attitude with time.
As for Dal-Mi, she was raised by her father, who was a really good person. And the grandma, I don't think it's a matter of being toxic, but a matter of excessive protection, so Dal-Mi ended up not being toxic.
I can understand why people are worried the writer is romanticizing toxicity, but there are still more 4 eps, and I see an improvement in all characters, so I think the show is actually differentiating between what is a healthy attitude and an unhealthy one. This reminds me that one character that was crazy in Cheese In the Trap and everyone was commenting how it was romanticizing but than at the last ep it was revealed she had a mental problem and they treated it. I do believe this show is taking us somewhere regarding this
Exactly! I've wondered the same thing for more times than I can count throughout the last 6 episodes or so now,…
No, I can see the the writer's goal. It's not about a relationship from the letters, it's about understanding. Do San, as an engineer and maths genious isn't too much into deep meanings and symbols and all that. If you remember when they used that letter, Do San complained later, saying it's stupid and he doesn't understand, while Ji Pyeong says he does. They showed us that Ji Pyeong could understand Dal-Mi better than Do San.
This wasn't about how much Do San and Dal Mi are or aren't a match made in heaven. The point is that at that moment, he understood Dal-Mi better, as he never did before. Basically, it brings them closer, even when they are separated.
I mean, could they have done better? Probably, I'm just saying that I understand their point.
I agree to a certain extent. I see her "love" for her father as an extension of her love for her mother- "this…
But I saw the Princess's Man and although h had her in his heart, we still saw his coflicted feelings. If he smiled for her, he would straight away feel conflicted with it. On that episode in the King Maker, he didn't show those conflicted feelings
About she loving her father, I don't find it weird, I just think the writer should show us how theirrelationship developed, so that the viewers can connect with it.
you dont get the plot and it shows... there are reasons why immortals like Chief Gwi and Weol Ju age, and there…
if you're talking about the convenience that the Crown Prince doesn't get recognized but Weol Ju, than that's merely plot convenient and doesn't make sense in the universe. Deus Ex Machina is a plot hole that is only convenient to the writer, and that is bad writing.
But I'm only halfway throught the drama. Let's see if they introduce such a rule in the universe
I bet they didn't let the young actress stay as a main role because they don't consider her pretty. She acts since she was a kid, yet, she barely gets main roles...
I saw so many dramas with her, so it makes me really mad with this
Anyway, I think she's definitelly older than 18 in the movies. And I ship them too, I just got side tracked by the antagonist of the last movie xD
Ps: I know they are like, 20 years apart and that she's a minor in the originals, but I think the movies narrowed that down. She's looks at least 20
