?? This review has me baffled- Did you understand the drama... at all?1) You talk about Doctor John not being…
Hi :) thank you very much for taking time to read this and write a reply! I did watch the drama and sadly didn't like it. (I had my reasons for watching it till the end and not even fast-forwarding it lol xD) Maybe if this drama was made years ago when I just started watching dramas and I watched it back then, maybe I would have liked it :) Maybe I understand something else under the word "unrealistic" because you are right I prefer dramas that are fantasy or mystery :) and maybe, like you say, I didn't understand this drama well :) This review is solely my feelings about this drama, at the time I watched it. I will edit the review and add that this is only my opinion :) thank you for reminding me! ^^ And I am very happy you liked it and find the points I mentioned odd! :) Everyone has different taste in dramas after all haha :) Hope you have a good day!
Well, finally a review I can agree with, thank you! So many good reviews but nobody put it out there how all over…
aww thank you!!! :) oh it's good to know that someone who studies medicine also found it wrong! I also had hopes for this drama but they never fulfilled. lol thank you!
I totally agree. I think it’s the new-ness. Back then all those cliches all those romances all those interesting characters and everything was new and interesting. But after watching too many the new and nice cute things become cliches. Its like there is this food you really like but after eating it 3000 times everyday, the whole day, you just start to hate it lol. It becomes routine, it becomes the same and not something special. Sometimes when I watch a drama (or a Hollywood movie) I think that if I have watched this like 10 years ago I would have loved it. Lol Well it’s normal. And that is the reason why you should find a golden middle. Take breaks and not overwhelm yourself with dramas. (This is more like telling it to myself lol xD) and that is also the reason why people are trying to do “new” type of dramas. And there are nice ones among them. Like my mister, that you mentioned, or sky castle or arthdal Chronicles. The last one is a completely new genre in which Koreans are not that great. It’s sloppy but still new. I bet drama makers are also feeling the pressure of making new stuff. Plus old stuff because the new generation might like the old love stories written newly but still the same, boring for the veteran watchers but very interesting for people stepping newly on this path. All that said I totally understand you xD like many here I also have often drama slumps xD so waiting for this super special drama which will give me more feels haha.
great list~ 2nd leads are better than mains, unless it's 3rd charm and my absolute boyfriend ;p
thank you~ :) and Yes!! XD haha I think when the mains are better means they did great job in casting and all (so none will outshine the mains) xD lol but often 2nd leads are so amazing they just outshine everyone xD I was trying to make the link to the dramas bold but couldn't even if i picked there the "thick" version but it didn't change. maybe it's some kind of bug or i was going something wrong lol.
what a nice article! i like the scientific approach! from my experience: I used to watch dramas till the end, just because I felt obligated to finish them, as they came from my favorite cultures. I don't remember when I first dropped a drama but it was because the plot was too boring and I didn't want to waste my time even on skipping. but there were only few, because I watched only the ones I was really interested in, of my fav actors/actresses were in. When I got busy with uni and later job was the time when I watched mostly ongoing dramas. which means I had to wait a week. I wasn't able to watch the new episodes after a week due to busy schedules, and as the time passed I grew cold. the feelings that were there grew cold and I didn't want to watch the drama. I took a lot of willpower to pick them up again. I few episodes to get hooked again. As i became busier I dropped more and more dramas. I Also started new ones that stole my attention away from the old ones. I opened MDL only recently (thanks to my friend) and when I saw that the list of dropped dramas is so big I started re-watching some XD however (here came the cheater in me) I mostly skipped the boring parts. Another reason for dropping dramas was when I watched them with my mom. which means I had to watch them when she is available and sometimes I was busy at that time. with schedule differences we were postponing it to the point where neither of us wanted to continue. Why? because there were already new ones that were even more interesting. haha By the way the genre that is most dropped for me is Romance/Comedy and least dropped is mystery/crime/thriller. I guess maybe that's because mystery is a genre that keeps you on the edge. with romance you know that they will eventually be together XD
But the article was really interesting! thank you!

Oh yes!!! omg in that drama it was like fans were divided into two squads lol xD It's so hard to read the webtoon when I know who is the main lol
