Did you watch it? How is it? The rating is low but it looks good.
No, I'm waiting for someone to tell me how it is. It looks like no one will ever watch it, especially with these initial ratings.

Title Anpan
this series does take place during WW2 after all.💔💔
I've seen other asadoras that take place at the same time. Hanako to Anne and Tora ni Tsubasa are two of my favourites. The war always leaves sadness and devastation, the anti war message is clear in both asadoras. But it's never been so graphic before, we never saw so much blood and actual combat.
I think it's a top tier asadora so far, but it's definitely not suitable for a family viewing. I guess they are changing the demographics.

This is so brutal, WW2 is very graphic here. Aren't asadoras meant for family viewing? I wouldn't let my kid watch a war movie.
Loving it so far, but it's very unusual for the genre 🤔

What's funny is it is a korean production itself filmed in a korean studio. So what's with the unnecessary comparison??…
What's most important is the writing. The screenwriter is Japanese, and it's what sets the tone of the drama. I'm sorry, but the Japanese and Korean cultures are different, and obviously their dramas are different, so why not make comparisons? I don't see anyone writing something nasty about either version, they are merely stating their preferences.

This is soooo me. LOL I just turned 39 last month. And i'm always single. I'm scared of this drama. Hahaha.
Why be scared? Good things are about to happen to the 39yo. You should be so lucky! Is there a young hottie at your work plaace? 🤡

What does that mean
Spreading rumours in China about BLs could be dangerous and they know it. So I'm tentatively thinking that maybe they are risking themselves because some higher up gave a hint that it isn't so risky anymore. Which means... HOPE!

Why do most Japanese dramas on MDL rarely go above a rating of 8.0 or 8.2, except for one or two exceptions?
I think it's mainly because people's find it hard to switch between the Korean style and the Japanese one. The mentality is totally different and I think a lot of viewers get whiplash.

generally all J-dramas are rated low on this site :(
And it makes me so angry.
