Why do most Japanese dramas on MDL rarely go above a rating of 8.0 or 8.2, except for one or two exceptions?
I think it's mainly because people's find it hard to switch between the Korean style and the Japanese one. The mentality is totally different and I think a lot of viewers get whiplash.

I wouldn't show it for kids though, young teens maybe. It's fun and educational, but it doesn't sugarcoat reality like Disney does.
