I am not even kidding but at this point, all the Chinese bl adaptations that have completed filming and post-production…
I think they need permission from their government to even sell it to other countries... Nothing you create in China is ever truly yours, it all belongs to the Chinese government and they don't want the word to see than they have gay people.
I read the novel and watched the Cdrama version. Absolutely loved both. Not even 30 minutes into the first episode,…
That was my biggest fear from the trailer. I'll still give this one a chance tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. What I loved about the Chinese version was how serious, smart and awkward she was. I loved it when he said she was like a monster from another planet. If they make her funny and cool it might be interesting to watch but it won't be When A Snail Falls In Love.
Thailand loves quirky and sweet FLs and they love adding teenage level humour, so I hope that maybe someday there will be a Japanese version - Now THAT will be interesting because they are the best at delivering weird but lovable outcasts.
It's like they are hiding this remake and I don't get why. Since the original was so successful they should be PRing this to death to cash in. Maybe the quality is bad so they want it under the radar or they don't want another country to outshine them?
PS Saw this trailer https://v.qq.com/x/cover/mzc00200fafshxu/b0046qoa33k.html and even though it has no subtitles it looks like they've changed her personality 😳 and made this version funny. No wonder they are hiding it, this isn't what the viewers want, we want our serious and awkward XuXu back!
Prev one ws from the collection of characters/couple covers. This one is the last one, and official
Even worse that the official one is ugly and doesn't do the story any justice. My opinion isn't just as a viewer but also as someone who worked as a graphic designer. A good poster needs to make you want to watch by giving the eyes an interest object to focus on, so a bunch of people that you can barely see isn't doing the job.

Thanks!
Is there one in the novel?
