Congrats !!! Enjoyed the show by now, stuck at episode 5. Just hope that success isn't a drag away from 'normal' kdramas for Netflix and Korean film industry. Hopefully it justs boosts the international viewership to search for all the talents and 'normal' kdramas. Whoever defines 'normal' ;-)

While production was great, didn't really click for me. The child's acting was great, Jun Jin Hyun acting is very medicore, when I think of all the good actors in the Kingdom series itself. At best a 7/10. Hopefully doesn't drag down Kingdom S3...or they continue this to an endlessly pointless and boring Walking of the Dead.

...how refreshingly "dirty" the setting and scenes are compared to all those shiny polished dramas...very well done, story, acting, sound...hope that quality level stays !

...just watched the first episode, was fun ! ...but is it only me, I would think Nam Young and Kang Ro Seo wouldn't really fit together as a couple at all, even if I don't know how the story will evolve ?

Thanks for another good clarification on this. Reminds me watching the news in the 80's on those protests in German media also. It's wise for any Non-Korean to just listen/read and get more insights. What I found weird though, how would the actors not know themselves what controversy that plot would create !?

Yeah, you can sense the Signal concept in a total different setting...all good for me :-) Finally also we have a non-human main role celebrity: Beautifull nature :-) ...that rock falling CGI diddn't even do something usefull to the story. Forgivably though...really great show by now !

In Europe the word is used for members of a non regular army, often without uniform. In 2nd world war lots of Partisan's in different countries were fighting against the Nazi's. Sometimes just a group of "normal" people picking up the fight in small ambush attacks, sometimes even bigger groups with leaders/army structure or former army members.
