In many of these shows, students are shown entering, leaving, and even living in the school at night, without any teachers, security personnel, or management staff around. Even if I assume it's for night study, the complete absence of staff from gatekeepers to the principal seems unrealistic.

It makes the school seem more like an abandoned building with no ownership or supervision, where anyone can come and go as they please. Is this actually how things are in real Korean schools, or is it purely fictional for the sake of drama?
