Ah right, it's always "FL bashing" when someone mentions an actress isn't giving her best performance.…
Because the commenter was attacking other people by saying their opinion wasn't an opinion but was "FL bashing". Thereby negating anyone's opinion she disagrees with as "FL bashing", which is a nasty response. And you know that.
And I see it all the time on here. Someone attacks someone else, and then when they get the same in return, they're upset.
Maybe, instead, just make a comment that they don't agree that Bai Lu is giving a poor performance, or that they don't agree that the FL is annoying, and I have no problem with that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But when someone just starts lambasting others for "FL bashing" or, as I've seen in other topics, "racist" because someone mentions they think Koreans think such and such, it's the height of weak thinking. And it's also nasty to the person who was just commenting their opinion.
I'll copy your comment here, as you have a habit of mouthing off, and then deleting your comment when someone calls you on your idiocy.
So here's your comment...
"@Michelle Topham "All Chinese need glasses." "Chinese look so freaking stupid."
And my reply to you:
Yes, you obviously need to improve your reading comprehension. Because if you understood those two things I said to mean C-dramas are driving me crazy, and therefore I should stop watching them, then you don't understand English as well as you think you do.
And btw, I will point out, you also EDITED and then took my comments OUT OF CONTEXT. But you know that, don't you, as I've seen you do it before and, for some reason, you think people don't notice?
Anyway, like I said, life's too short. Moving on, as I have zero interest in wasting one more minute of my finite time on this planet with someone who, apparently, isn't particularly bright but does like picking a fight. You do it all the time, and other people get sucked in. Nope. Sorry. Bored now.
I guess the FL bashing and sorry bashing because the romance is not moving forward has started . Bai Lu actually…
Ah right, it's always "FL bashing" when someone mentions an actress isn't giving her best performance. Just like it's "racist" if a black person is criticized, or "Islamophobic" when a Muslim is criticized.
The same shallow thinking is why public discourse is at an all time low. People who aren't able to create a decent argument, so they just spout off one of the labels -- "FL bashing" "misogynistic", "racist", "bigoted", "Islamophobic". It's all just so dull and boring.
Maybe you should learn to read before you leave yet another dumb comment? Where did I say C-dramas drive me crazy? Or is English your second language and you don't understand it well enough to reply to an English language comment with a comment that makes sense?
Oh wait a minute. Never mind. You're one of those users who is constantly attacking other people and telling them what to do. NOW I remember your username, you're always being nasty to people. ROTFL. Moving on. Life's too short for stupidity.
I love the leads but the plot is not as captivating or interesting as I thought it would be. This isn't bai Lu's…
Got to admit I'm getting a bit bored (I thought I was the only one). I think, unless it really picks up, it's going to be another one of those C-dramas that fizzles in the middle, as there just isn't enough material to stretch the plot to 40 episodes. At least so far. Guess that's why we've been getting so much filler in the last couple of episodes?
And agreed on Bai Lu. She's got the same blank face in almost every scene that she has in almost every other drama she's in, while her performance itself is "flat" and bland. And yes, the character has mental issues, but she doesn't need to be played flat and with little personality.
I'm not anti-Bai Lu by any means, as I certainly don't think she's talentless like the even more blank-faced Meng Zi Yi, but she is another Chinese actress who has no idea how to emote facially. Becomes super annoying after a while.
There's not a chance I'll drop this, as it's still holding my attention most of the time, but yep, disappointed in where this has been going for the last two or three episodes. Then again, it is rare a Chinese drama can sustain ALL my interest for all 40 episodes. The last ones were A Splendid Match. (and The Vendetta of An at 28 episodes, which I could have easily watched for 12 more :).
Annoying AF, isn't it? I've just watched about 5 C-dramas in the last couple of weeks where everyone was "shocked" the character was a woman (Zhan Zhao Adventures being another one of them), while the director made ZERO effort to disguise the woman as a man. I'm starting to think ALL Chinese need glasses!!!
Sooooooo over women in Chinese dramas obviously being women and half the people around them surprised, when they find out the character is a woman, because they thought they were a man. It just makes the Chinese look so freaking stupid. Another case today, this time the annoying new princess.
That's my only criticism of the drama. I cannot take his and Yeli's scenes anymore, he is too annoying. Yes bro…
Hahahaha, I know. Cai Zheng Jie is doing an amazing job, but the dude is just so emotionally weak and annoyingly awful :) Ye Li has more patience than me. I would have knocked him into the middle of next week by now :)
I dropped it at Episode 2 as I thought it was horribly written and worse acted, but just came back to the page…
No, not really. I got midway thru Episode 3 the first time I dropped it, went back once to try again but didn't get much further than a few more minutes before I gave up again :) Almost everything about it irritated me, and I like both main actors and the cast, but the plot is horribly written, I think the production/direction is poor, and much of the acting is also not stellar. Far poorer performances than most of the cast usually gives.
You can try again, but I'm not sure you'll get a different result :) I didn't.
Love the soundtrack on this one. It's perfect for every scene. Specifically loved the music today in Episode 14 when Mo Xiu Yao's swordsmen are heading out to make an arrest.
Honest question, do all these actors and actress gets to see all the script and storyline before accepting a deal?…
Rarely. In most cases, it's usually just a few acts/scenes - sometimes maybe up to the third of a drama) that's why so many of them get stuck with horrible dramas.
Look at poor Liu Xue Yi with The Princess's Gambit. I highly doubt that incredibly talented actor would have accepted that script if he had known what an almighty mess the writing turns out to be as it progresses.
Poor acting seriously what is this? What is this storyline? What is this script?
I dropped it at Episode 2 as I thought it was horribly written and worse acted, but just came back to the page to see if the rating had changed as the Douban rating is now out and it's a catastrophic 5.1 out of 10.
For those who don't understand Douban ratings, that means Chinese viewers are rating it "abymsal, with severe problems with plot, acting and production". I thought it was poor in the first couple of eps, hence why I dropped it, but it must have collapsed a lot in quality for such an horrendously bad Douban rating.
But if it's only about already released episodes then it's not spoiler. Just don't scroll here until you are up…
It's a spoiler if you post anything about the plot or what happens to a character. It's why there's a Spoiler button under every post, so something you talk about doesn't spoil an episode for someone who may not have seen it. It's called common courtesy.
And I see it all the time on here. Someone attacks someone else, and then when they get the same in return, they're upset.

Both come from the Greek word 'γυνή' (pronounced 'gynē') which means 'woman'.
So, no, there's nothing wrong with his comment. You just didn't understand it.
