It’s very good so far, but not quite what I expected. I thought the airport aspect would be more central to the show. It seems like the airport setting only plays a significant role in episode 1, and after that we might not hear about it again, the rest may just turn into a more typical Korean thriller. Too bad, because I really liked the airport element; it felt quite original.

As a French person, I laughed so much at this article… the writer clearly has zero understanding of France and French newspapers.

The article about Zhang Linghe is not even in the printed version or on the main website. It’s published on “Alt Selection,” which is basically a kind of Asian-culture blog with only stuff about asian drama, movies and music.

Also, Ouest-France is a local newspaper that mainly deals with local news. It’s not influential outside the west of France. Also it is mainly old people that read it, not the kind to watch asian stuff...

Actually, Chinese actors are quite unknown in France, even the very popular ones in China. I think the only Chinese actor a random French person would know is Jackie Chan.

Person Song Kang
Whoever says he's a bad actor watched one show that had a crappy script and judged off of nothing. Maybe romance…
I mean, even if he did okay in a few non-romance dramas, I still don’t get why he gets so many main roles. His acting isn’t impressive enough to warrant that many leading parts.

I think it's gonna be popular in few days, glad it's CJENM produced one so we can see new /rising faces instead…
Exactly! It’s nice to see new actors and not always the same Netflix favorites.

What a ride this was…
It’s one of those dramas where you need three days to process everything after finishing it.

The story was really sad and suspenseful, and I grew very attached to the characters.

No idea why I waited until 2026 to watch this masterpiece!

The plots twist were very well donne. And figuring out who is who in the past was quite the riddle.

I highly recommend the jdrama "A Suffocatingly Lonely Death (2024)" if you liked Blind. Story is quite similar with a lot of plot twists too.

Any other suggestion for similar stuff?

I don’t know why I could never get hooked on this drama despite dithyrambic ratings. I guess superpower stuff just isn’t for me.

This deserves a second season.
The cliffhanger ending and the show’s unexpected popularity mean there’s really no reason not to make one.

It reminded me of the Japanese "The werewolf game" movie series, but much better as the drama format allows to give more depth to the characters.

To watch or not to watch?
I love thrillers and Gong Jun, but I’m not a fan of episodic dramas where there’s a new case every
few episodes.

It also looks like it is a diary of police work / relationships without much of a thriller or mysterious factor.
And since it’s a Chinese drama, you pretty much know the police will win every time.

On top of that, it has low overall ratings but very positive individual reviews.
So…I’m in a dilemma.

You should try Twelve Letters then, probably the best Chinese drama of last year.
Its good, but I prefered Reborn :)

I hate 70s, 80s and 90s Chinese dramas. I do not know why China produces so many shows set in that period. Maybe it has a nostalgic vibe for Chinese viewers, but as an international viewer I find that era quite boring and uninteresting.

Still, I hope this drama will be good and that the depth of the story and characters will make up for the setting.

The other poster was better. With the two of them and her wearing that red velour shirt.
I tried to change it but my edit was rejected. They chose the worst poster.
