Not only they use to kidnap ppl, mostly kids or teens and train them to become divers, but they also have that "maternity farm" which produced generations of slaves, mostly next divers.
Full training took less than 1 year, and all dove during training. Those who couldnt make the harsh training were killed.
Not all of them dove in very dangerous places, only the best one

-they are slaves, their life didnt matter. Ppl were kidnapped and brought to the pearl farm, transf. in slaves (this is how DW arrived at the farm, when she was a kid).
-Pearl divers, their masters, all knew always that if they have any cut they cant dive (shark attacks). That's why DW could manage to escape from that guy who tried to abuse her (she threatened him with a knife. So, we didnt see many bleeding injuries, but lot of bruises
-all scene under water were real, filmed with actors. ZLS did her stunts alone, in the cold water. Could they be done with AI or cgi? definitely, but they werent, so we had some real scenes
-romance line isnt the most important, drama is focused on DW's journey, about her life. So, her love story is just a part of her life's story
-after ep 20 drama is about business, friendship, woman empowerment. DW became SMZ, her story continues till the end

Maybe this drama is not the best I ever seen, but it has some strong good things:
- the chars are all very well written
-there are some themes I really like: fight for freedom (the entire story is about it), strong FL, woman empowerment, business woman
-good acting (FL), real stunts
-good cinematography
-good Ost
- amazing chemistry, a short but intense love story

70 % of the script was changed. Director also changed. She tried to talk with dir, producer but they refused to comm. They tricked her, didnt give her almost anything from what she signed for

her contract will end this year. It's a matter of several months
Not watching her works is the worst thing you can do. Kelulis are rewatching all her dramas these days

What Lusi faces now arent issues caused by weight loss, the weight loss is also a consequence of her illness. Please do read her post, she had lot of health issues in 2022, more in 2023, when haters used to bully her for being fat(and they wont stop bully, whatever her weight is/will be)Many ppl made an obsession on her weight, make-up, look in general. ppl should be conscious that bulling was the main factor that causes her illness (from ppl in industry who abused her, crazy haters, those actors who paid yxh to scold her, yxh, who always tried to put her down inventing rumors, spreading them)
Lusi is already 41 kg now and her treatment is going on well, she is recovering, there is a good answer to the treatment. Physically she'll be recovered (fully) in 3 months, psychological recovery will be longer
