Dir Fei has an interview were he said they had to finish post production in a very short time, exposed the fact they worked day and night to finish it in time, they had to respect the new law about no of episodes. Even YXP and TLI received media recog, reached 1,7 billion views with an average of 42 mil views/ep at the moment (still running for non vips), there are several aspects we cant deny: -TLI is an adaptation after an old, average IP. - it was aired in the cold season, not in winter holidays. The targeted audience of this drama had exams when the drama was aired and finished for vips -they rushed the post production, TLI is the single xianxia (in all cdrama history) which was aired after only 8 months they turned off camera. That's why they're still working at editing, changing cgi, new viewers have better experience watching TLI than we had when it was first aired - chars were wise casted, I really cant imagine JBR acting like a very young God, with all flaws of youth -if they marketed TLI as a journey of 4 friends, focus more on this, dont give lot of screen time to SFL coz she's your employee (I could enjoy this drama without 60% of peacock screen time). And most important, dont cut good scene of leads to make place for unnecessary subplots)

She hasnt big benefits after this drama, but drama brings benefits to prod team and streaming platforms. TLI was downrated on Douban and MDL by ALP and SAF 6 fans and other usual unfriendly acc. How YXP sees ALP and TLI results, just see her interview for People Magazine. I will say only that ALP fans who scolded TLI here will have an unpleasant surprise.
