Q abt S1: If I remember correctly he told her that if she'll become possessed she should come at him and not innocent people. and this is why he stood in front of her when she held the sword. If this scenario was "ok" from his perspective- why everyone is saying about him that there isn't a pain like when he got a sword straight in his heart?

I see where you're coming from. I think Kim Jae Young is totally wasted in this drama and most of the fans like his character because of his looks and not because he shows some great acting spectacle :( His scenes are unnecessary.
