Whether it's bl or not since jeff doesn't like to identify series as bl or non-bl you probably won't get a proper answer for that. All i can answer u that there's most likely something between the characters damon & anawin from all the hints that were given till now. So it's up to u how u wanna see it.
You totally said it right🙌. People are too brainwashed these days that according to them it's only bl if it content mature scenes! Also jeff said bl isn't a genre we only say it because it's easier to describe love between two guys that way. Just because the pilot doesn't contain any romance scenes doesn't mean the series will not either. Specially jeff said many time romance will be there! Don't know why people are jumping to conclusions already.
