i know that muslims and christians in the philippines don’t get along very well, so i was actually secretly expecting the series to portray muslims as the worst people. but now that ive seen the trailer, i'm a little surprised that the concept is completely different.

india would never.

You know we are 8 episodes in, and they could had dragged the SML story to even 10 episodes IF Korea kept the old format of 16 episodes. But the screenwriters are getting lazier and rushed endings are becoming the standard so...

Fuckass Korea with the shortening of episodes. The screenwriters are getting lazier. There is no thing called quality over quantity if you have a good script. The fact it's a TV network drama as well.

Netflix is the distributor. Most of the dramas yall complain about are produced by Korean networks
Doesn't change the fact that American streaming services ruined Korean dramas. Especially thanks to the Netflix/Disney original Korean dramas that have a fuckass westernized feeling. Lately the dramas aired on TV started having that feeling as well, so it's all becoming trash.

Title Siren’s Kiss
It's a remake of a Japanese drama.
There is a difference between adaption and remake. In the original story, the FL is a teacher while they made her rich director in this drama

I saw the female lead in Lovely Runner which was a perfect show for me at the time, is this one on a similar level?…
You can see similarities in her acting but the chemistry is nowhere close to Lovely Runner

why is korean society obsessed with luxury and brand products?
i only keep it to korean dramas and would never wanna be close to the society. luxury and brand obsession is like 1% of the problems in that country
