Honestly, call me crazy but that's actually one of the reasons why I continued reading the book. And I expected to see at least some of it in the uncut version. But at the same time I can understand it would look unnatural on screen.
They once again threat Africa as a single nation, but western ones are independent and not just Europe or North America. As if African countries are all the same, but western ones are civilized and have their own cultures so its worth mentioning their nations. It's like me calling a Korean person Chinese.

I'm at chapter 15-16 of the book and the amount of smut in those chapters made me take a break. They went in full detail... what the hell, it's not just an adult book, but for the ones who have experience reading smut for years instead. Yes, it's that erotic.
I just read that the Ashile Tribe are the Gokturks, but are called that because of Chinese censorship. Pretty hilarious since Dilraba is Uyghur, part of former Gokturk, but fights against her own people (who are displayed as bad ones) as a Han Chinese.
