Article Korean Dramas, Japanese Dramas, Globalised - Who Does It Best?

In 2016 I started watching kdramas like W, but also older dramas and loved it. But currently I don't like the new dramas. It doesn't feel like "kdrama" anymore. I mean, series like IOTNBO, Nevertheless and The Devil Judge are okay, but I don't get the "kdrama feeling" like in older dramas like Weightlifting Kim, Sassy Go Go, Reply 1988/1997, Queen In Hyun's Man, Bring It On, Ghost and even... Boys over Flowers.... yes I said it.

ESPECIALLY NETFLIX ORIGINAL KDRAMAS HIT DIFFERENTLY. KDRAMAS ON NETFLIX FEEL LIKE WESTERN SERIES LOL

To be honest, I only watch J-dramas at the moment. They're hella underrated.
