That 12 years gap hurt
I'm just a loser with too much pride. Even so, don't abandon me. -- Dohoe made me tear up a little when he said this. This drama had me going through so many emotions. It's one of the best dramas I've seen this year, and I've seen quite a few.Listen, the beginning of this drama had me smiling. The awkwardness between them whrn they tried to kiss, made me go awww. So awkward, embarrassing and yet, adorable. I was sold on it already on the first episode, but then the 12 years gap happened, and I was like... huh? dafug you mean they haven't seen each other for 12 years? But they are in love. And then, when they got back together, but everything was so uncomfortable, I felt so sad for them.
Not gonna lie, a lot of things confused me in this drama:
1. Why the hell did Shin Juyeong kept in contact with Dohoe's abusive father? Sure, it would have made sense if by doing so, he got information on Dohoe's whereabouts, but he didn't, and yet he kept going back, taking care of him. Dude, he was literally beating you, and you were his student. And he did worse to his son, your lover. Like, why? what was his reason? Good people are such tree huggers!
2. Ha Hyeonho legit thought he could get Dohoe to like him. Boy, you and your friends beat him up, and your excuse was like, 'When we were beating you up you didn't cry, and, I bullied you because I like you.' Bish, did he really think that was gonna change anything? I thought for a second they were dating, and I was ready to riot.
3. Up until they flat-out showed Dohoe faking this documents, I had no idea what he did and what they were talking about. I was just nodding along.
4. If Dohoe was smart enough to fool that school to make him a teacher who was actually good, how did he keep failing his entrance exams? I thought he was paper smart, no?
5. So did he spend time in jail for that prison sentences or not? The voice over said it, then we just moved on. And what the hell happened to that boy's parents?
Yes, my fav character was Shin Juyeong because my man was such a green flag. Though, I still don't understand why he kept staying closer to that toxic father. When Dohoe showed up, and was angry with him, I understood, because why the eff would you be nice to that abuser. Not gonna lie though, when Dohoe started being pretentious and acting like he was better than Juyeong, I was so over him. Yes, you've been through trauma, but the way he kept treating Juyeong was not it. Unlike Juyeong, I almost gave up on him, and then when we found out what happened to him those past 12 years, I cried with them.
This drama was a rollercoaster of emotions, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Although in the end they seemed happy and in the process of getting there, I still wanted to know if they made it. You know, get some concrete closure. Did he finally passed the exams? Did Juyeong find a stable taekwondo job he loves? Open endings sucks, but imma just pretend they lived a good life.
All in all, great cast, the story was good and had depth and pulled you in. The actors were good and made us feel for the characters. It held my interest till the very end, so I highly recommend it to everyone who loves dramas and bls. I look forward to more from the actors in the future.

More Playlover Than Cosmetic
I've poked myself in the eye one too many times using eye-liner pencil, so I thought this show was going to offer some indirect tips on doing make-up, boy was I wrong. Also, am I the only person so tired of these 'perfect-can-do-everything' male leads? And, for a show that promised 'cosmetic' there was barely any up close. They 'talked' about make-up, showed us some shots of them 'advisor-ing' what products to use, we just never got to see any of it in depth. Which was a shame, but okay, cuz this show wasn't about that, it was more about what happens behind the scenes.
Listen, Natsume is one of the most realistic characters I've come across in BLs. He's annoying, optimistic, over-thinker, too nice, insecure and did I mention annoying? I LOVED, how human his character was. Watching him go from feeling supportive and proud of Tome to becoming jealous when he reached places his career hasn't, was very realistic and the biggest reason I liked the show. It showed how human he was, and how the green-eye monster almost always get the best of us.
But then, Gaaawddd I wanted to slap him with a rubber chicken when he kept assuming/making decision for Tome without hearing his side of things. Yes, I understand he meant well, but dafug you mean go to New York cuz his crazy arse brother who wears sunglasses in doors wants him to? Literally that boy mentioned Tome was alone during his childhood, and then you wanna believe family is what he needs? At least let him solve his own family issue if you want them to work it out. Yes, you're welcome to give your opinion but don't make decisions for him. Also that fight/misunderstanding they had which made Tome go to Paris was not it. Natsume is so insecure at times that I just wanted to shake him. But then again, it's not his fault, Tome's character came off as an arrogant god-like individual who could do no wrong, so how could he not feel inferior beside him?
Tome. Tome felt like most male leads in these BLs. He's handsome, good at basically everything he touches and the lead talks about him as if he hangs the moon. Nothing special, we've seen it a million times and me personally, I wanna throw rocks at those male leads, cuz perfect characters annoys me by default. It's the reason I've stopped reading YA books, the female leads are always so effing special and all the males want them.
Anyway, yes, Tome being the 'perfect' type of character made him my least favourite immediately, but then, in that episode when he finally told us why he came off as arrogant, I got him. And I understood him even more when we learned he basically raised himself. I understand why he became aloof to everything after how those jealous of him treated him. So, by the end, I didn't dislike his character at all. I came to sympathised.
I liked how in the end it seemed the two have reached a good place in their career and relationship. They could have done more with the plot, but given how each episode was under 30mins, and we only had 8 episode, I'm not surprised this was all we were given. I'm okay with what we got, it was enjoyable nonetheless. Though, what I keep wondering with the finale. Did Tome leave that dinner to go stand by the water and wait? LMAO, they couldn't just walk there together? I found it so random, and it made me laugh.
The plot of course wasn't very much, but I liked the leads, which made watching the show enjoyable. They were good in their roles, and acted it well, with good chemistry as well. As for the side-characters, they were basically props and expositions. Literally Natsume's mother and sister showed up one time to be fangirls, that random dude who wanted revenge or whatever, was there so we learned Natsume is good at noting stuff down in this black book, and I won't even talk about that dude who mentioned Natsume is his type, he was just loud and there to cause not-very-interesting drama. And that boy he went to see the fireworks with was clearly created as nothing more than to be the exposition.
All in all, this show is basically about two people in the workplace trying to make their way doing what they love. They fell in love along the way, and like always, there's misunderstandings and fireworks while kissing, but overall an enjoyable show. It's also different in how we got to see another industry portrayed in a bl. If you wanna watch it for the cosmetic, there isn't much of it, but if you want an un-heavy show to rewind, then this one is for you. I'll recommend it.

Babe Went Full Savage
Listen. I'm not a sad person who hates happiness, but like, I hate happiness on Charlie, cuz dude was happy all the time. Ain't nobody that happy all the time. Also was he laughing or crying??? Could never tell the difference. And was Charlie necessary for this story? Did he need to be in the drama? Sure, he stole some power Babe wasn't even using and he faked his death one time, but like... he was just there! And what was the point of their powers? Seemed like they disappeared when they need them the most. I was like, okay good for you Babe, you can catch stuff flying towards your head, and?? I see something aiming for my head, I dodge, you are not special.
Anyway, before we start, I'd like to give Pavel his flowers. He was such a good actor in this, made everyone else look like they were being paid to act like trees.
Now to the review.
1) Nothing, and I mean nothing will get me to dislike 'Way'. I love that Mfer sooo much. Like, the moment he popped up on screen, I went, who's that? that one right there, WHO IS THAT.?? I don't know, must be Nut's aura or something, because nothing he did made me annoyed. And everything, and I mean, everything, annoys me.
2) Pavel's tattoo. Full savage indeed.
3) Charlie... well, I mean, he was in the drama. After we learnt of the reason he came into Pitbabe's life, I was like, sure, good for you, you power stealing, death faker, glasses wearing air-breather.
PLOT
Interesting storyline, but if it wasn't for tiktok comments and videos, wouldn't understand half of it. It was all over the place, and the only thing that kept me watching was Pavel's acting and Nut's face. And what was the point of that korean transfer racer person? Was his whole storyline to be kidnap and show us Charlie's noodle arms could hold its own in a boxing? Dude could have been replaced by one of those racing cars and I wouldn't even have noticed. Alan and Jeff's story was nice too. Tony should have suffered in a pit on Mars, or under a mountain, either would have been awesome. Way deserved so much better, deciding to go in the direction they did with him was not it.
And I refuse to talk about the Mama, Papa thing. Mfers out there trying to make me vomit up my lunch!
CHARACTERS:
Loved: Pitbabe and Way
Liked: Jeff, Alan, and that boss person who sponsored them? forget his name. I could look it up while typing this but... nah too much work.
Tolerated: Charlie. Like I said, dude was in the drama, circling around Babe, it was hard not to notice him. He was there!! Smiling.... all the time. Though, I did like that we finally had a top who wasn't the traditional good at everything, cool, arrogant and non-chalant.
Tony: Oh man, dude did all that! All that, and he just up and die. ARGGGGG.
Kenta, oh boy. What a shoe licker. Where to begin. Dude was such a bummer. Like a train crash you can't look away from. I wanted to hug and slap him at the same time. Towards the end, I legit did not care whether he lived or die.
POWERS:
Way supposedly can manipulate people into doing whatever he wants, and he waited all those years to get Babe? And ALAN'S POWERS. Talk about if useless was a person. Dude got the gift of foresight and he did nothing, nothing with it!!
ACTING.
Pavel left everyone in the dust. Pooh was there... smiling and wearing glasses. I guess. that's something. Nut, well, like I said must be his aura, can't find anything wrong to say about him. Everything he did was top notch, bestest boy. Some of the actors were decent as well.
OVERALL:
A decent watch, wasn't the greatest, but I can see a lot of people really loving it. This could have easily been a 5 star thing, but then they off'ed Way and that was when I drew the line. Overall, watch it, if not for anything for Pavel's acting.

LMAO They Left Atom’s Arse In Phuket
The side characters in this drama were as interesting as chalk. Also, Atom. Child. You touch people with that hand!!That being said. HAHAHAKKJSHFN That ending bedroom scene was just foul!! How you gon’ do that in broad-daylight with your grandmother sitting right there?? The poor woman had to listen to her grandchild getting eaten for two days while making dessert. Yikes.
Also, for a show trying to be ‘gangster’ they sure forgot that random bathtub gangster real quick. Mfer got killed and I was like ‘Oh, so what happened with that gangster group?’ and the writers were like ‘Whomst? We don’t know them. They don’t go here. '
ACTING:
Listen, I sometimes think most bl actors take their acting lessons from a block of cheese, or from like one of those red bricks, but I'd be the first to admit that MeenPing has improved. Sure, I still went ‘Child, what are you doing with your eyebrows? And it's your arms supposed to be doing that?’ more times than I can count, but their acting did not distract me as much as it did in their first two dramas. So yaaay for improvement. Love that for them.
What distracted me though was Ryu’s parent situation. Like, it’s Meen ever going to play a role where he has loving parents? In their first drama, his mother took half his kidney and ditch him at the corner of like a soup shop, he ended up a lonely gangster in the second one, and his mother here made him sleep in the dumpster because he liked to play basketball. I’m curious what his next parents are gonna bring to the table.
CHARACTERS
Like I said, the characters in this show were as interesting as a pineapple. Literally, except for Chogun, I have no idea what anyone’s name on the team was. I think two of them became a couple because the other one collected parking lot tickets or something? Whatever, I guess every show needs background noise.
I liked Ryu and Zen, sure Ryu came with a lot of baggages, that one gangster friend? and his mother, and Zen had his sick granny, but I like how supportive they were of each other. I enjoyed watching them together, they didn’t annoyed me so much and MeenPing had great chemistry. My fav part was when they were mature enough to let the other follow their own dream. Finally, there was no unrealistic love gestures like 'I'll move to Phuket with you' and I cheered.
That being said, did Ryu leave his fancy mansion to become a hobo, where he gets beaten every 2-to-3-business-days because his mama won't let him play basketball??
Zen came off as a pushover and at times I wanted to throw sticks into his hair for being a dumbass. Literally, he had so many chances to push Atom into that damn pool but instead he ended up in his bed. It seemed like he was afraid of setting boundaries. Be firm boy, no you don't want to go watch no darn movie!
And Atom. Oh ATOM. Antony my boy. Why? Homeboy just won’t give up and leave. Am I the only one who was like ‘aww poor Atom, such a nice guy, he deserves better’ in the beginning but somewhere along the way every time he showed up went, ‘My friend go sit somewhere, that’s enough of you.’ No really, Atom’s first coach must have told him the meaning of rebound, and homeboy decided to make it his entire personality, cuz why the eff did he keep coming back knowing full well he had negative 2.0 chance with Zen?
And what the eff was up with all the nonsense romantic gesture he made for Zen?
Listen, Romantic gestures are supposed to make you swoon and go ‘awww’ You know, like in the episode where Zen got on his tiny bike and rushed after Ryu when he was kidnap for the how-many-times-can-one-person-be-kidnap-and-beaten-until-it-gets-boring time? like:
ZEN: Ryu, wait for me, I’m coming to save you. I have no plan, no fighting skills. I in no way told anyone where I was going and of course I did not bring anything pointy or sharp. But, I love you sooo much and I am coming to rescue you. *in-love noises*
Me, slowly chewing my popcorn while Zen was being thrown around like a piñata.
ME: Dumbass nooo... they beaten your arse…yous is bleeding…but awww you came to save him. *cries in stupid love* #sosad
So yeah, stupid arse romantic gestures are supposed to make us swoon. So tell me why every time Atom made some sort of romantic gestures I wanted to snitch to his dad about it like: ‘Atom’s dad, come collect your boy, he’s out here making unnecessary romantic gestures and embarrassing his ancestors.’
Literally, nonsense stuff Atom did that no one asked him to do.
- Confronting his team alone: His arse got beaten and all he got from Zen was sympathy.
- Given up his scholarship: Sure, there’s nothing wrong with being in love with a guy you met under the public pool one time, but given up your future because the boy you have a crush on’s boyfriend got beaten is wild. Like was that supposed to make Zen fall for him?
- His arse getting left in Phuket. LMAO, what, he thought getting Zen that scholarship was going to make him love him? Boo-boo.
His character was created to be the second lead that never got the guy, so he didn't bring a whole lot to the table. Sure the writers tried to make him mysterious, and interesting with whatever the hell was up with him and his dad, and sure he quit his future for a guy he met at the bottom of the pool one time, but like he was a very nice fella in the beginning.
And, yes, he was born with a hand and knew how to use the pictures on his phone to you know—do stuff, but like, he was still such a nice fella until he got on my nerve for always inserting himself in their business, like dude, read the room, you are the elephant.
Side note: Atom sure knew how to use that photo galley on his phone huh?? ^^I don’t understand why he want a boyfriend when clearly, he and himself can have a good time all on their own. See how quickly the whole thing lasted, his hand must work wonders.
Anywho, I wanted to know what happened to him in the end, but I guess I can be satisfied with his arse getting left in Phuket.
LIN LIN LIN.
What was the reason Lin fell in love with Ryu? It felt like she woke up one random Thursday and went. ‘Let’s see, what’s on my to-do-list today?’:
1. Pretend not the see my dad’s drinking problem
2. Ruin the school’s basketball team cuz im nosy
3. Fell in love with that guy I saw through the fence one time
4. If there’s time, put my nose in Ryu’s family problems, cuz, yolo right?
No, Lin having a crush on Ryu made no sense to me? Atom’s crush I understood. He met a cute boy while sitting under the public pool that one Tuesday. So he fell for his rescuer, but what was the reason Lin had a crush on Ryu? Was it because she saw him through that fence one time on the basketball court?
Whatever, her nosy arse was so annoying, getting in everyone and their mama’s business but ignoring her own. Child your father is a drinking away your collage fund, hows about we focus on that, huh? Good luck to that one dude who confused to her, now he has to deal with her and her drunkard dad.
PLOT
i actually found myself watching most of the game, instead of fasting forward. Good camera angles and I was intrigued. That being said, there was not much of a plot going on here. The gangster plot went nowhere. That one bathtub dude died in a black scene, and these children who just witness so many deaths went home and took a nap.
Zen’s grandmother being sick got annoying, because what’s with parents figure hiding their sickness? It vexes me every time it happens. Do they think them suddenly dying and leaving their loved ones alone without any closure, and feeling guilty for not noticing their sickness will be the better option?? Arrggg.
And was Ryu’s mother allergic to basketball or something? homegirl was doing too much. Like, go take a nap.
Also, why the hell did the writers expect me to cheer for that coach? He’s an alcoholic who deserved to be fired. He caused the death of his wife, and still keeps drinking, even at school, and what does his daughter do, give him more. And even when he was in trouble for it, he was still drinking it in front of the students. The way I rolled my eyes when the board voted for him to stay. Talkng about ‘I wanna keep coaching’ how about you coach yourself some rehab first!! Nonsense. And did his hair keep getting blonder?
FINALE
The ending was rushed. We didn’t get to see why the school board change their mind, how it was in Phuket, and what became of Atom, but I guess this half baked conclusion is better than waiting for a season two, no?
I was so happy when the team lost, cuz Zen is such a dumbass. Who the hell tells his team and bf his moving to Phuket seconds before a big game? Literally, he couldn’t have waited?
And also was the other team waiting for them while they were having their moment in the middle of the game? You know, cuz now it’s the time to hug and take a breather. ‘Yes, you moving to Phuket. So what do you want, a medal?’ Thank God they lost, I’d have riot if they won.
HJAJAHAHHA LMAO. They forgot that gangster friend who found him in the dumpster, only to bring him in the finale and have him literally disappear after he said like two lines. Then they proceeded to show us he turned into some hooded stalker, with a montage of his and Ryu’s time together, and I’m just rolling my eyes going. ‘Move it along, I literally don’t care about this person.’
With all that being said, y’all lying if you say you didn’t want that throuple during that awkward bed scene. Hush your face, you know you wanted it. But like, that scene made me laugh so hard—poor Zen, if only his pushover arse knew how to say 'no'.
Oh and, that theme song was dope!!!
Anyway, if you like basketball and MeenPing give this a watch, it’s good for passing the time, and I recommend it.

Two Assassins, A Snitch & A Mechanic Walked Into a Burger Joint...
Here is the sitch. Kant is a love bombing, manipulative snitch for the police. Bison is a cheeky, deadly, adorable hitman, Fadel is a moody, no nonsense hitman who loves cooking burgers, and Style is an annoying gremlin, stalker mechanic who is unknowingly dating an assassin to win an old car. Between the four of them, someone is about to get burn, and it's sure as hell ain't the hamburgers!Listen, this drama promised a recipe for disaster and chaos, and it cooked and delivered it perfectly. This was an emotional rollercoaster and I enjoyed the ride very very well. As someone who read the novel I had a lot of expectation and they were exceed to the maximum.
CHARACTERS
Both FirstKhao and JoongDunk delivered a wonderful performance. I'm one of those people who believed after watching Hidden Agenda that JoongDunk took their acting lessons from one of them red bricks, but this was their best role yet. Dunk embodied Style to perfection, making me like that annoying character so much. So kudos to all four main cast, great job, clap clap. FirstKhao and JoongDunk were the perfect cast for this role, and it was great seeing them bring the characters to life.
BISON
So like we all agree Bison is crazy right? Sure he dresses like a middle-age divorce woman from Santa Barbara, and his adorable face makes him looks like cute a plushie, but don't be fool, dude had the personality of a ticking bomb, you never know when he was gonna blow while giving you one of those adorable smiles. LMAO, the scene where he was imagining all the ways to off Kant after he found out he was a snitch had me going, 'Damn dude, yous is a cray-cray'. No, he had one solution for every problem he came across. 'Let's kill it.' Bison's character was the most intriguing to me, so of course he was my fav, and Khao as always was great in his role.
Also, I knew Bison was batshit crazy, but he's borderline psychotic, cuz who the hell eats their cupcake muffin from the centre? And when he took Kant to use that laundry line, out there in the open? In the prison when those men were bothering him, I shook my head like, 'Ah, so you want to die this morning.' They did eff around and found out. I don't know what it says about me that the psycho with the cute face is my fav, but Bison was my fav... so.
KANT
Kant. Oh, Kant. What a giant red flag you were. Sure he did all he did so he could clear his grand theft auto charges. Which sure, who wouldn't wanna be free from the popo, but all that love-bombing in the beginning was just cruel. Plus he let his best-friend flirt with a gun firing, steak knife wielding assassin and didn't tell him. Sure, Style would have screamed 'hell no' but letting your friend flirt with someone you suspects murder people for a living is sucky. Homeboy sucks, but, snitches do get stitches, or in his case lungs full of water. He lucky Bison decided to save him in the end. Fadel would have let him be fish food.
I did like how all out Kant went when he finally realised his feelings for Bison. Homeboy even managed to find a pro-bono job in the prison just so he could be closer to Bison. Ah the things crazy people do when they are in love. I also liked how he cared for his brother, what he had to go through to give his brother the best life he could, which makes him like 16% less sucky for his snitching era, but I just remembered Bison and Fadel's heartbreak when they learned the truth, sooo taking back that percentage. I'll give him one thing though, he was brave and one lucky mfker, cuz he faced both Bison and Fadel's guns and lived to tell the tale.
KANT & BISON
Okay, but first question, did FirstKhao take a masterclass in kissing cuz... fam, those smooches were on a whole new level of eating. Now how this people go back to being co-workers/friends after these scenes? I can never be an actor cuz what do you mean, 'no we are not married, I shaved my tongue down your throat for work'. Na ah, yous is my husband now. Shit, after a kiss like the one in the empty pool or on the hammock swing, there's no way I'm leaving without a ring. Unless the police throw me for prison, I am stuck on you like glue.
Anyway, the moment Bison started doing his little inlove-ness-ness cute thing with the tissue like a disney maiden in a musical, I knew he was a goner. These two should not work, but they did, cuz they both had pasts the other understood. I'm glad they found each other, kinks and all. Cuz only two crazy people will do it in a prison courtyard behind sheets. No shame whatsoever. Oh, and that titanic empty pool scene. FirstKhao's chemistry is really one of the best in the bl industry.
I am so happy that they finally got to see the northern lights, in that episode when Kant showed a projection of it, as a way to spend one last day with him, so he could betray him the next day, I was so mad at him, like, why are you doing the most romantic stuff with the worse of intention?? Was so happy when Bison made him jump into the sea, he deserved it for that one scene alone. Though, with everything they've been through, I know they gonna last forever.
STYLE
Style can annoy a ghost back to life. Homeboy was so in love with himself and the sound of his voice, even his father found out his son has been dating a killer for the past years and he was like 'Honestly, good, only a hitman can handle your dramatic arse. Good luck Fadel, hope you can survive him.' No, but, that child was crazy. Him still taking that car he won for the bet made me love him more. Also, Fadel has the patient of a saint, cuz if I was the one who kidnapped style i'd have brought him back within the hour. Heck, I might have just turned over my weapon to him and asked him to put me out of my misery. LOL, that boy had me laughing and shaking my head. I've never met such a friendly, yet, annoying stalker like him. And I don't know what that says about me that I love him this much. No, he's so annoying, but like... he's the best. When Style showed up in his tank-top in ep1, I knew he was going to be annoying as hell, and immediately I went, yes, more please,
There were so many Style moments I love in this drama, but my fav might just be when he was kidnapped. Like he had demands, even had Fadel stop so he could purchase a better outfit to die in, cuz he couldn't die in an ugly shirt, which, sure, understandable, no one likes an ugly corpse. But he even had them attending, and officiating a wedding, wanting kisses and a good time, that bathtub scene. Nah, I'd definitely had un-kidnapped him. And like that scene at the bowling ally, boy literally forgot there was a crazy person with a weapon because Fadel said he was someone else's boyfriend. Child, this is not the time nor place. Oh, how I love his dramatic arse.
FADEL
Mr. Cool assassin who comes off as cold, but is really soft at heart, and just wanna be in his kitchen all day cooking. Fadel had a heart of gold, and the will power of a mountain, cuz the strength it took for him to not kill Style needs to be studied. That scene when he took Style to the creepy forest place, I for sure thought Style was a goner.
Of the four characters, Fadel came off as the most broken. He didn't have expectation of anyone, and he kept everyone away so he wouldn't get hurt. The boy had his grave ready. Legit, was he just gonna go off one day, lie in it, and wait for someone to fill it with soil? Lol. He felt things the most, which is why I understood him when he was being difficult in the prison when Style didn't show up to teach. He was afraid of getting hurt again. Even after they found out Style and Kant betrayed them, and he wanted to get rid of Style, he still couldn't help but care for him. All it took was him thinking Style was gonna get hurt in the ocean for him to give in. So yeah, heart of gold, probably the best of the four.
Plus he really cared for Bison. He was his whole family and he took his job as brother/mother really seriously. Which good, cuz that mother of theirs was the devil.
Naaah, let my man cook in peace, he was born to be a lover not a hitman. The scene when he almost kill Kant but was talked down, and then then went back to his cooking had me laughing. Plus every time he looked at Style with such loving eyes, ahhh, no really, lover not a killer.
FADEL & STYLE
Fadel is like one of those people who are like: 'Dear dairy, I went out today, and the humans are still there. I hate everything.' And Style is one of those people who pets random dogs on the street and talk with everyone in the park. These two are so opposite they shouldn't even work as friends, yet their love story expand years. Fadel is someone who has been hurt so much from his last love, and now guards his heart, but here comes Styles, he walked right into his heart like a bulldozer, just forcing his way in and making a home there for himself until Fadel had no choice but to accept him. No, their love was really beautiful, and I enjoy every moment of it.
They drove each other insane, in a good way. JoongDunk have also grown in the kissing department. These two used to serve fish kisses, given us basically nothing, but look at them now. No, did the four cast take a masterclass in lips locking, where? when? who is teaching it? Boss? How can we sign up for it? Asking for a friend. Cuz... literally Fadel went from 30% to 60% with just a neck kiss. Anywho, personally, I wish Fadel all the best growing old with Style's dramatic arse. I mean it took years and he still couldn't teach him any mechanic's cuz all he did was yap. And yes, JoongDunk also did really well in their roles here, and I was very impressed by how well they brought their characters to life.
PLOT
As someone who read the novel while waiting to the series to air, I knew what was going to happen. I am so very grateful, that for the first time ever the screenwriters did more to the story than the novel. This was much more better than the novel. We got more plot, Style had more personality and wasn't two dimensional and the other three had more depth as well. So thank you khun director and khun screenwriter for this.
That being said, although the plot was interesting, made me laugh, cry, and laughed some more, there were a few things that had me question stuff. Like, what the hell was up with the episode where they tried to get dirt on the Mother? Are these two really sure they're professional hitman? How they stayed alive until now? Cuz Fadel went on a stakeout with Style who wore the brightest outfit he could find, homeboy might as well had gone with a neon sign that read, 'Yes, I'm following that one guy over there.' And of course he got caught, why won't he, in that hotel he and Fadel were literally just standing by the corner, like, three steps from Keen's vision. Also whoever put that hat on Fadel's head deserves prison or whatever powder they gave the mother. The moment I saw him in that hat, I said out loud to myself, 'See head, like bucket' and then laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.
The way I was rolling my eyes when Style was able to disarmed Keen, and then at one point the gun was basically pointing at nothing. And the Mother, she couldn't spot Bison there on that golf course? Bison was literally standing like one umbrella away from her, he wasn't even in disguised, and the mother still didn't recognise/see him? Like??? And and, did Style leave to change his outfit before he went out to comfort Fadel? Priorities, am I right?
Also, during that kidnap Style scene, like was Fadel serious? Homeboy had his gun out, pointing at Style, inside an opened window car, on a busy road, full of witnesses with eyes... like, hello Mr. Hitman are you new here? What in the sorry arse kidnapping is that? It was like he wanted to get caught.
Of course there were scenes I loved: Like the scene at the beach when Bison was crying and asked if Kant was trying to lie to him again. I was a mess. When Fadel showed Style his empty grave. I was crying into my popcorn and pointing at him on my screen like 'Child, why you making people emotional on a random Wednesday, huh? When Kant kept saying Penguin. Look, personally I had more ways to add to Bison's list on how to off Kant's snitching arse, but that scene made me go, 'please, forgive him, he said penguin. Penguin, that's your thing, you can't kill him now.' Then, when style worked so hard to buy back Fadel's restaurant back for him. Our boy grew up so fast from his days of stalking Fadel and going 'Fadew, Fadew, Fadew.' Oh and the scene when they got arrested and they were both crying but Kant was trying to be strong to comfort Style. And when they were taking their mugshot, I was throwing popcorn at my screen hiccuping like 'booooo, set them free, that ugly prison outfit ain't even their colour.'
Ah, this series was supposed to be a romantic comedy but really, only Style understood the genre, the rest of the time the characters were out there making me too emotional.
So like is the Mother dead or what? These two are professional hitman, and they just left that woman sitting there, looking perfectly alive. What if she has an antidote? What if it was powder and she was bluffing? Prison softened them.
That being said, I know Fadel and Bison were like the reddest flag, dudes killed people for a living, but Kant and Style were also red flags. Cuz we have Kant's arse love bombing poor Bison, ready to snitch on him so he'd be free of his crimes, and Style stalking and disturbing a quiet gentle soul all because he wants an old car. In the end, all four really dd deserve each other.
All-in-all a very good drama, one of my favs, and a good way to start the year of bl. I'd recommend it to all bl lovers looking for an entertaining show, you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to FirstKhao and JoongDunk's next work, I am very much seated.

I Can Still Hear Ai going... P'YUUU...
Peoples, we got a rapping confession, followed by a guitar scene confession. It was a two-in-one double kill. I almost didn't make it out alive. It was brutal. Also, did anyone want to reach into the screen and shake P-Yu when he was treating his ex-girlfriend like precious cargo right in front of Ai's salad?Well, that ending was super anticlimactic, after all that dreaming that was it? A pull out knife, and a neck brace? Arite then. It was also very criminal how we didn't get a last moment between Yo and Ing, we were robbed and I wanna have words with whoever was in charge of the script.
Anyway, can we talk about how dirty they did Wan. Sure, the dude just couldn't take a hint that Ai wasn't interested, and Yo misguided way to help backfired, but damn, did they have to do my man like that? Screaming on top of your lungs that you don't like him was just wild. Poor dude, he better than me though, still helping Ai, me, I'd have never shown my face to him again.
This show is one of those that grows on you. When it started I was like, meh, really? But along the way it became my comfort show, it was wholesome and I enjoyed watching it. The two pairs had good chemistry, the plot, when the writers remembers their main objective wasn't bad, and I had a few chuckles. Oh, and the parents were really kind, which was refreshing to see.
Listen, the writers had a good plot, however, they did not execute it to its full potential. At some point it felt like they forgot the main plot-line, so they had all those floating dreams to fill the gap. They even forgot how Ai was playing some investigator or another with that closet wall full of drawings and stuff. They could have done so much more with this plot, instead they tiptoed around it to show us a whole episode with Yu's ex, Pan.
No, cuz what in the random arse was them dedicating a whole episode to Yu's ex for? When she returned I was like, 'oh, you still in this show?' then they gave her a whole episode as a result of things that didn't happen on screen. Who even cared about that character? Sure they needed that side-story for that Ice fellow to play a part in the finale, but a whole arse episode for characters no one cares about is wild.
And she only added to my anger. Yes, I felt bad for her, was even rolling my eyes at that annoying Ice and going 'how about you go melt somewhere creep.' but at the same time, let's be honest, she put herself in that situation. She had a good boyfriend, living in a big arse mansion (how they pay for that house? or did their parents leave them stack of paper in the bank?) who loved her, and she broke up with him, so she could go fake date someone and became famous. I felt bad for her, but the whole time when she was there and Yu was treating her like a newborn baby, feeding her and making my blood pressure go up, I was like, yeah, Sharon, you walked into that one yourself.
YU AND AI
These two were cute when they were bickering in the beginning of the show. And their little church scenes. P'Yu always somehow managed to make Ai angry. I did like their friendship, and when they got together as well. I assumed Ai was gonna be passive in the relationship, but he wasn't, episode 10 ending had me going... ooo... so this is where we are at? okaii. I liked how protective of each other they were. I also really love how it seemed like they lived in two houses, just going from one to the other, and the parents were so chill about the whole thing.
However, these two needed to communicate. Ai putting himself in constant danger was not it, all of those could have been avoided if he'd communicated with Yu. Sure he didn't want him to worry by keeping his dreams a secret, still, feels like trusting the one you love is better than keeping secrets that are putting you in harms way.
Yu had me until he decided to be a good guy and help his ex-girlfriend. Yes, yes, I understand, and in reality if an ex needed help, I'd have done the same, but damnnnn that episode made me glare at him over my popcorn and wine. Another place I was glaring was when Ai took all those pills. Child, you cannot be this stupid, sure your friend gave you a bad advice, but surely, Ai knew how dangerous it was, no? And to think nothing happened to him. They shook him a bit and he woke up. #facepalm.
But all in all, cute couple, wholesome-ish, it was nice seeing their friendship grow into love. They did well as leads and had me invested in their story. I really liked how they felt like a happy family with the rest of the cast, all those eating together scene was very heart-warming.
YO AND ING
Now, we were all rooting for them, seeing as anyone with eyes could see that Yo liked Ing back. What I didn't like was Ing's attitude when he confessed and more-or-less got rejected. Yes, it was frustrating to see Yo pretend, but when all was said and done, it felt like Ing somehow forced Yo to accept his feelings? I don't know, he deserved to be angry, but stopping to be his friend, and all that anger was not it. Still I was happy when Yo finally accepted his feelings and they got together. I cringed so hard during that rapping scene, was it cute, perhaps, but I watched it between my fingers out of secondhand embarrassment so...but anyway, glad they figured out their stuff and got together. Cute and whatnot.
All-in-all a nice show. It wasn't the greatest, but it grew on me, and it had its moment. I'll recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit different other than school setting as a main focus. I'll definitely be checking out the future work of the cast.

This Show is as Real as my Aunt’s Church Wig
Yes, yes, we all wanted to throw rocks at Shun and slap him with a rubber chicken, but, what in the love potion did Kazuto put in those meals? Cuz my man was out there collecting boys like Pokémons.Let’s be honest. This ‘reality’ show is as real as my uncle Bob’s Christmas toupée, but I still enjoyed it, cuz I love me some drama!! And frankly, I’m nosy. I heard someone say Shun’s a RED FLAG, and went ‘Ming’s got an IRL brother? Where?’ Then my nosy arse immediately took a seat.
And I remained seated, cuz watching Ryota strike-out over and over again (knowing his parents might be watching, yikes, I’d have moved to the sun) made me grab some popcorn and wine. Ryota’s pain, Shun’s annoying arse, Dai’s frustrations and Kazuto being belle of the ball made for such great entertainment. Oh and that chicken and that one go-go guy.
But let’s forget about that guy and his chicken for a second. Cuz— How about that first KISS between Dai and Shun?? Oh boy, that was, yeah. Stuff. Oof. *stupid in love noises* so powerful it had an afterglow??
And that last ‘DAI, I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU’ Aaaaahhhhh, I screamed, clapped and cried. And when Dai said it back??? Good stuff :(((. In love people are sooo annoying *cries in jealous* Nah, those two, I swear to Gawd!!
And back to that kiss. It put most bl kisses to shame. Because some bl characters kisses like they are afraid of lips. Like that ‘We Are’ PhumPeem kiss when they were sitting on that canoe/boat. Peem looked like he was in pain and his teeth were about to catch fire. Honestly, Phum would have had a better time making out with that canoe. And don’t even get me started on Q and Toey’s kisses. They were so awkward and stiff, I wanted to throw stale bread at their heads.
Anyway, that kiss was hot, but then again it couldn’t have been anything else, cuz the build up was heart pounding. The moment Shun awkwardly jumped into Dai’s bed, I knew, he knew what he was doing. Like come on bro, game recognises game, I know yous wanna chop. hihi.
Of course a day after the kiss, Shun out there again being a broken record talking about ‘I can’t enjoy myself when we are together, I need space.’ Then move to the sun! And to think he did that because Dai won’t wear his t-shirt. OMG HE IS EXHAUSTING!! This drama queen!
DAI & SHUN
Yes, the only reason I watched this show is because I heard people saying Shun is a red flag. And I will agree to disagree, because the first time Shun introduced himself, I was like: ‘aww he wants to find love and start a family’ but then the look on his face and the way he was speaking had me going ‘LMAO why you talking about love sounding like you’re making a grocery list?’ Homeboy was like:
1. (1)boyfriend/future husband. (Preferable one allergic to happiness. Should not get excited about aquariums)
2. Three kids? (I want a big family so we can celebrate the holidays)
3. Two cups of ways to drive whoever I end up with insane with my indecisiveness and moods
4. 3? 2 bottles of mood swings (top shelve products only)
5. Sugar?
No really, tell me why Shun comes off as that one kid who goes outside for the first time in days and comes back home like: ‘Dear Dairy, I want outside again today. The humans are still there. I did not like it.’
But then, but then, he gets happy and he’s all bright smiles, and shy energy, making your heart melt, and you wanna gently roll him up in a blanket sandwich and gives him cheek kisses, then shove him off a cliff—cuz the next scene he’s back to being cranky and annoying.
Let’s be honest, Shun is an attention seeker who has the personality of a god-darn flip flop, and he soaks up negative energy around him like spongebob, but… I vibe with that air breather and would happily make excuses for him, because I get it, people are exhausting. And with his family and love life background, I understand why he was playing ping-pong with Dai’s feeling.
Shun at 23 has gone through more than most of us, so he’s allowed to protect his heart. Some traumas makes villains of us, but just because we put ourselves first, doesn’t make us bad people. So yes, I’d be the first in line to shove Shun off a small cliff cuz his annoying arse got to me, but I’ll gladly use the second person in line’s body to break his fall.
Also, why was everyone saying Shun is a red flag? Peoples, did you notice the rollercoaster Kazuto put Alan through??? No really, he kept confusing the poor boy until literally the last episode. If I was Alan, i’d have make like that one chicken guy and send myself packing.
That being said. Shun is a Drama Queen. Boy showed up for a dating show and after meeting the contestant went ‘yeah, cancel the whole thing, I don’t like any of these people, send them back.’ LOL, I was surprised he stayed.
I threw popcorn at my screen and booed whenever he said ‘I’m not sure’ about his feelings for Dai. ‘Child!! Will you keep quiet??’ Shun got into my core. Dafug you mean you have no wish after winning? Why are you still in this show?? Boy if you don’t make like that one chicken guy and go study abroad!!
All the pain Shun suffered in this show was cost by himself, and for that, I still lowkey want to shake him for being so indecisive. Cuz, out of nowhere he decided he and Dai should remain friends after their first date because, *Check notes*
1. Dai’s too happy and it exhausted him. Child!?! No, really, he was like: ‘that’s enough happiness for this month, don’t stand too close to me.’ What?!? now how you gon’ be a hater of fun in this economy?? But, Shun, honey, if you hate fun how you gon’ entertain your children?? Cuz right now, I’m just imagining him giving his kids time-out because they sang ‘itsy bisty spider’ with too much enthusiasm.
2. Setting himself up for jealousy. After he turned their will-they-wont-they situationship into an awkward Im-staring-at-you-from-a-distance situation, he had the audacity to get jealous. I’m all for pinning, and I was cheering on Shun, but I was clapping and going ‘yes, ignore his sorry arse’ when Dai and Ikuo were doing a romantic disney montage by the sea. You know, right in front of Shun's salad.
3. Breaking his own heart by not lifting his hands. Then of course, he immediately regretted it and he had the audacity to look like a kicked puppy, making me all soft and lowkey hating on Dai for making him sad.
I’m glad he got his shit together cuz I had, had it up to here with him and was ready to throw a chair.
It’s not a secret, we were all watching this show for these two. But damn, Shun made it so hard for me to ship them. At some point, I wanted Dai to say eff you and become one of Kazuto’s boys. But in the finale, when he finally made up his mind and confessed first, I was like: ‘that's my boy. Boooo in-love people are annoying *happy tears*
Dai is a sweetheart. I like how he knows what he wants and goes for it. Those episodes when he purposely made Shun jealous with Ikuo was chef-kiss. He has the patient of a saint, cuz if Shun was frustrating me like that, my dramatic arse would have been like: ‘You ain’t the only air breather here. Pfft. Bye Felicia.’
But he held on, and it paid off, because they ended up together. Yes, Shun and Dai found a middle to be together, but at what cost? I feel like they both compromised parts of them that’s going to be hard for them to let go of. Would they survive in the end? Who knows, but I wish them all the luck, and lots of kisses.
RYOTA RYOTA RYOTA
hahahahah HAHHAHA. Im sorry, I know he must be heart broken wherever his single arse is, but damn! Homeboy was so sad to look at. He got rejected and kept coming back. Child, do you have a humiliation kink??
If he was a character on Ao3 his tags would be like #unrequitedlove #nevergiveup #sandwiches #tears
Listen, I don’t enjoy peoples sadness or anything, but like, if I was Ryota, I’d have left the second Kazuto rejected me. Homeboy was two-for-two then went back and got rejected again in the last episode. Ryota just couldn’t catch a break. Shun didn’t even consider his feelings and immediately friend-zone him, then proceeded to dump his relationship problem on him for advice. OUCH.
And Kazuto looked like he wished, he hadn’t confessed to him. Cuz we all know all that polite smiling meant: ‘haha, thank you for liking me, but no. Bro.’
Also, that sandwich in the finale made me shake my head. WHY Ryota, just why?? Kazuto keeps choosing Alan, and your solution is to make him lunch?? Come on son, have some shame and some self-respect? And to make it worse, Kazuto just enjoyed it with Alan. Naahhh that’s a foul!!!
Ryota chased after two people who did not want him, and drove the one who wanted him out of the Green Room. Really, I laughed at him yes, but I felt bad for him in the end, cuz that last attempt at Kazuto, though brave, was just sad. I hope in the future he learns to notice the people who wants him, instead of going after those who don’t and getting his heart broken repeatedly.
KAZUTO KAZUTO KAZUTO & ALAN
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but this was just ridiculous. Everyone wanted Kazuto, so much so that someone even left to go work aboard when they couldn’t have him. PAUSE. What in a kdrama moment was that? I know it was emotional and was supposed to be sad, but not gonna lie, I laughed so hard.
Kazuto was confused most of the show, not knowing his feelings. He kept changing his mind. Shun must have borrowed him those flip-flops cuz boy put Alan through the ringer. One moment he wanted to be friends, then he’s not sure about his feelings, then he wants to hold hands. CHILD!!!
And Alan. Gawddd if I had to hear Alan remind us again he’s Brazilian, I’d riot. We get it, your grandparents were adventurous, enough! It was like 51% of his personality, and thank god he brought something else to the table, cuz… Even his title was like ‘Brazilian it worker’ okay?
And yes, I liked him and Kazuto. I felt like he came on a bit too strong, but he did eventually learned to slow his pace, so that worked out. And I hope after spending more time together Kazuto gets his sh!t together and make them official.
EVERYONE ELSE:
Did anyone else forget that one contestant that gave Shun advice while drinking wine, Taeyon? Was he a filler contestant, cuz I forgot he was even in the show before that scene. Good luck to him I guess.
Gensei being delulu thinking Ryota wanted him was so funny. At first he was like, nah, then when he realised he didn’t want him, he was interested. And what was his deal always wanting to put make-up on Ryota? I felt sorry for him, cuz he could see that he was just a replacement, so I’m glad he left.
Ikuo. Poor dude, he showed up all happy and left with his spirit crushed. And Dai did him so dirty cuz they were like:
- IKUO: Dai, I know I used to like Kazuto, but that’s over, and I want to confess my feelings to you. I like you.
- DIA: Whomst? me? No. Shun Shun Shun. But, I almost had a crush on you, because you’re good at house chores.
LMAO, what a way to reject someone. That was nasty.
Also, damn, why were they always like ’Thank you’ every time they rejected someone? The politeness made it even worse. Poor Ryota though, boy got a ‘thank you’ and as if that’s not enough, a handshake. That was somehow extra worse.
Anyway, I don’t like reality shows. I’ve watch only one in my life, and it was about cake being real or fake. So, I didn’t want to watch this, but am glad I did, cuz it was entertaining. I wish all these people luck finding love. And to Dai, dude, good luck with Shun’s dramatic arse, you gonna need it!

Gel nails, Airdrops, Blackpink and Teenage Angst
While these boys and their crushes and rejections had them peeing themselves on zoom calls, mine had me saving someone son’s name as ‘Psalms 45:2’ on my phone. Also, these boys had me out here frustrated and stressed. Cuz: Fou4Mod is in love with Chian, who is in love with Bua, who is in love with Baabin, who is in love with Fou4Mod, who is in love with Chian. It was a love circle and it gave me a headache. Let me explain. The CRUSH CIRCLE OF GELBOYS.
Chian—>Bua—>Baabin—>Fou4Mod—>Chian
See, a love square. Everyone had a crush on someone who didn’t like them back. Children please put that phone down and see the life happening in front of you. But of course, that would have been too easy, and there wouldn't have been any drama. No, but really, this whole show was a giant headache of stress and idiots in love. I was stressing for someone to shut up and be with someone, so we'd have some peace. Then of course, all the nonsense ended with Chian—>Fou4Mod & Baabin—>Bua. People, I could have told you this family tree weeks ago. All that teenage angst and for what?
These boys, oh these gelboys. Was having a crush ever that serious? YES, yes it was, and I'm sure we all understand why. Most of us have been there: Crying your eyes out at 2am to a sad song while going through their socials, stalking them in person and online, the panic when you see them and you aren't prepared, the stress of what to wear on days you know you’d see them, the delulu scenarios you make in your head to love songs, then the absolute pain and heartbreak when your crush announce their dating Janet from Class B. Like, what does Janet have? Sure she looks good in lipgloss and her hair always does that thing, but… whhhhhy Psalms 45:2 why you didn’t love me back when in my head we married to a Taylor Swift song???
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that, although all these 4 characters should pay your decision is dumb taxes, having been in their shoes and understanding the angst that is being a teenager, I don't blame them. I'm actually surprised they figured it out in the end and everyone went where they were supposed to be, and those who needed to apologise did, and those who needed closure got theirs too. Me, I'm still stalking Psalms 45:2 on instagram. Janet's hair still does the thing... love that for her, but also not.
Fou4Mod
This boy broke his own heart over and over again. He knew he was being kept on the hook, knew Chian was in love with Bua, but still he went ‘ah, it’s fine let’s be whatever’ and then made a whole delulu relationship out of it, thinking it would turn real. And the whole time, my arse was like: 'This aint disney honey, that frog aint gonna turn into a prince'. Then of course he decided to hurt two innocent people for his own selfish reasons, poor Baabin and Faifa did not deserve what he did to them. Did I feel sorry for him, yes, cuz we all do stupid things when our heart is involved, but really, most of the problems he had were caused by himself, so at the end of the day he deserved some of the hurt. I'm glad he wised up in the end, put himself first until he was ready to give Chian a fair chance.
Chian
Yes, at some point everyone hated him for how he treated Fou4Mod but he was honest about where his heart was, sure he led Fou4Mod on, but he was also being kept on the hook and looking for a way to heal his broken heart, so really can we fault him for everything that went wrong? He did learn in the end, when he lost Fou4Mod and saw that he’d been stupid. It was good on him that he kept fighting and waiting after knowing his true feelings. I also felt bad for him at some point, and after he came around, was okay he ended up with Fou4Mod. Frankly would have been fine either way.
Baabin
Poor boy had me wiping pixelated tears from my screen during that episode when he got his heart completely shattered. No, baby was so sad. That scene broke me, made me form a protect Baabin squad, only to immediately regret it when he started putting Bua on the hook as well. Like, that was not on the bingo card child, reset. The whole time I was like: 'boy if you don’t stop your nonsense and love Bua back this instant, dafug you mean all that meant nothing?' No, but our kind-hearted baby immediately denounced Bua when Fou4Mod started his ugly crying, dude??? But I can’t fault him, the heart wants what it wants, so…
Super glad he later explained his reason, that yes he liked Bua back, of course he did, but he kept denying his feelings cuz Fou4Mod didn't like Bua and he didn't want to hurt his friend's feeling. Glad Fou4Mod came around on Bua, and was happy for Baabin, it's what those two deserves. If they hadn't end up together, I'd have been a bit sad.
Bua
I never blamed this dude for not liking Chian back. And after learning about his family situation I understood him more. He’s deprived of attention at home, and Chian gave him some, so of course he didn’t want to lose that. I don’t know about you, but you can get jealous when your friends get new friends and you start feeling like you are losing them. Yes, he was wrong for keeping him on the hook, but I felt so sad for this boy the last two episodes like... no honey, if he don't like foreigners with blue eyes and brown hair, it's alright, I don't like his stupidity either. In the end, I was glad he said his peace, and Baabin came to his senses, cuz if I had to see these 4 characters cried more ugly tears I'd have rioted.
Listen, the overall matter is that, all these 4 characters were wrong and right at one point, none of them were saints or completely green. But given that they were teenagers dealing with first loves and whatnot, I don't fault them for being dumb and downright mean in some cases. Now they’ve experience it, and they are more wiser for it. I hope.
I knew the very moment I finished episode 1 that this drama was going to be a favourite of mine. Everything from how it was filmed and directed, the document feel of it, to the cast, to the music, to the script made me enjoy it a lot. Sure it was very relatable and made me remember some stupid mistakes I made not so long ago, but I enjoyed it for that reason too. The way this was filmed put us right there in the moment with the characters, it felt so raw, and I liked that a lot. Look at that, Thai bls finally giving us something new to gosh over after a long time. Kudos director-nim.
Anywho, great show, the best out of Thailand this year so far. Looking forward to seeing more work from the 4 leads in the future. I recommend this to all bl lovers, and those who loved the director's previous work, it's worth a watch. Be warn though it's teenage stupidity and angst in full force.
For anyone wondering...Psalms 45v2...: 'You are the most handsome of the sons of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore God has blessed you forever.'

I’m Your Sky & You’re My Sea.
Game recognises game, and my man LEE, has GAME! The boy had 6mins, 41secs (yes I counted) and some nonsense line about the moon and walking or something and he worked!! Effortlessly. *Standing ovation* the real MVP. Also, that scene in ep8 almost gave me a heart-attack. I was screaming, ‘Noooo P’Fah do not put our cute fluffy boo-boo’s hand there!’ LMAO, for a second I think we all forgot this show was from Domundi and they real thirsty over there.Listen, real talk, what’s in the water over at Domundi? Beauty juice, anyone? Do their dramas make me cringe, yes, do I keep rewatching? hell yes! One thing I’ll give them though, their dramas may be cringy but their face cards would never decline. In the first episode I was like, ‘are these models or actors?’ where the normal ugly looking humans at? where my people who roll up to school like we got ran over by a truck on the way?
Anyway, here’s my quick review checklist:
#1. Episode 1 had me rolling my eyes, judging. I literally said to myself. ‘Oh great, another childish show with nonsense plot. Literally what’s with all that cringe over a damn shirt? Give it a rest already.’ But by episode 3 my arse was going ‘ahhhhh why are they so cuteeeeeeeeeee. Sunday, where the eff you at? Come early!’
#2. The creepy vibes from Oh was so strong, like damn dude did you take extra courses for this or what? Thank God he disappeared halfway through the series and we all just forgot about him. He’s probably out there following that one dude who showed him kindness and still being creepy. #savethatonedude.
#3. Hia had me rolling my eyes after Real confessed his feelings. This child gave me a headache. Dude, you’ve been touchy touchy with your best friend and initiating stuff since episode 1, and now you wanna play Mary the virgin? Then of course, he’d make out with Real, and still say he’s not sure about his feelings. If only I could reach into the screen and slap him with a rubber chicken. No, every time he opens his mouth to lie about his feelings I go, ‘my brother, my brother, my brother, let us have peace. Go sit somewhere with your nonsense.’ Ain't no way his arse was still confused after that third kiss. Heck they should have married after that second kiss.
#4. Not gonna lie, I was bored the first few episodes, almost dropped this. And that one cringy scene where Rak shouted Fah’s name during that football game. Ahhhhh, I wanted to find some nice earth, dig a deep hole and just, lie inside. The secondhand embarrassment I felt...yikes. Man was out there having his High School Musical moment, and I wanted to disappear on his behalf.
#5. Also what the hell is up with Rak, a uni student acting like a child? Was he cute, sure, but what grown up acts like that? Bls needs to stop letting grown ups act so childish, it’s really unbecoming and nonsense.
#6. PUNLEE IS THE MAN: There was no nonsense on his part. He sees it, he likes it, he wants it, he gets it. I wish he’d have taught Hia a thing or fifteen, dude was wasting screen time with his nonsense.
#7. I did not care for the stupid misunderstandings from both the main and second leads. Especially that whole sequence with the confession at the airport. Boy you did not even wait to hear an answer and ran away to sulk at some abandon parking lot. Like??? Let us to be serious in this life people.
#8. The shock I got when Fah took Rak’s hand and led it south. I was like. ’NOOOOOO, not the baby, he’s not ready. He’s too innocent, please don’t do that! Stop it!’ Loved that he saw he wasn’t ready and stopped. The breath I let out. Fast forward to ep12, and I am singing 'The innocence is goneeeee.' Like, what angle was that even?
#9. Though, FAH did not waste 1 single second the moment Rak said he was ready. LMAO, my man was hungry!!! Rak grew up too fast. Tears. But it was done really sweet and beautiful, and it turned out Rak was not as innocent as I assumed.
#10. Episode 11 was so emotional. I went through anger, tears, understanding, then happiness for the two. We need to retire this whole episode 11 curse. For the love of all things bl, please, stop breaking our hearts!
#11. I repeat, PUNLEE IS THE MAN: For that one cafe scene alone, he’s officially my fav bl character of 2025.
12. FINALE: Everyone got their happy ending, so smiles all around for our couples. Liked how Rak's father apologised to Fah, and how mature Fah was about everything. Like how Rak sister has been supportive of him throughout this drama as well. That scene with Rak and Fah was... yeah innocence don't live here no more. Lee still the man! Hia and Real, about effing time.
#13. That theme song always had me doing a happy dance.
All in all. I enjoyed the stories of all the couples, they were entertaining even with the cliches and unnecessary misunderstanding. The plot wasn’t anything new or special, it’s been done in other bls. Fake dating turns real. The cast being new was noticeable, cuz the acting was nothing to write home about, so there’s a lot of room for improvement, but they still managed to hold my attention and kept me entertained so it was not time wasted. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a new bl to watche, especially Domundi lovers. It’s cute and fluffy and serious in some parts. I look forward to more from the cast.
Anywho, see you all for the next Domundi drama, my arse will tune in for anything Domundi.

My Mother's Husband Is My Secret Lover
Nonsense dey for some peoples' backyard!! Dafug you mean, you caught your son having an affair with your husband, and you leave your own house, so your son can continue being with your husband, because he loves that scumbag? If this abomination happened in my backyard, the police would have collected that husband... that mother should have been knighted a saint cuz... fam!!!Listen, this show was something. Me, I love drama. I saw a clip of step-father and son holding hands at the wedding, and went... yes, that one right there... I need it like air. So yeah, I was seated, and watched it with both eyes opened... but damn, that finale had my blood boiling... I don't even know who to yell at the most.
THE SON:
This boy... was he stupid or naive? Sure, he might have been manipulated by an older guy who acted like he collected coupon's in secret, but damn son, that's your mother!!! Guy's mother was so loving to him, but he still decided to hurt her in the worse way possible. How are you going to look her in the eyes while you're doing the devil's tango with her husband, literally two doors down? What pains me, is how after they get it own, they eat the food she cooked.
I get that Guy was heart broken, desperate for love and Gott somehow took advantage of him, but boy should have stopped when that walking popsicle stand married his mother. And then in the end, he felt bad that Gott was cheating on him as well... Susan, did you think that talking piece of garbage loved you? He was literally cheating on his wife with you! YOUR MOTHER!! And Guy was crying, and I was rolling my eyes at him, cuz foolish boy you brought this upon yourself.
THE HUSBAND:
The Audacity of Gott in this drama needs to be studied. This guy had zero shame. After getting catch having a sexual relationship with his wife's son, man straight up said... 'Let's talk this out. Maybe the 3 of us can work something out, and we could get this going as a threesome, cuz we are a family and I love you.' BROTHER??? LIKE....I was gagged. THE EFFING AUDACITY!! And... and... after the wife left, he decided to stay in her house, with her son and continue their affair. I---at what point do people like that notice they are a piece of trash? Shame must hate this guy, cuz he couldn't locate his arse.
And he was such a sweet talker, this dude could sale your own shoes back to you doubled the prize. He managed to keep his secretary interested in him so she'd work harder, held an affair with some random guy/guys, married a wife, and then kept having another affair with his step-son. And every time he got caught, he bullshit talked his way through it. What a weasel.
THE MOTHER:
Many blessings to mothers like Rin, cuz, she was... a mother. Blood is thicker than water. She was able to forgive her son, even had her friend warn him about her scumbag husband. It hasn't happened to me, so I don't know how I'd react, but to see my beloved son having an affair with my husband? That shit would destroy me, and I don't know if I'd have the capability to forgive them. What I don't get though, is how she left her house for them? Girl, kick that loser out!! I can't believe she didn't even notice the affair. Like this dude spent so much time in your son's bedroom, and she just let it happened... but then again, what mother would suspect such a thing about a son and a husband she loved? I wished she'd protected her son more when she found out, instead of leaving him with Gott.
FINALE
Since it was only 4 episodes, the finale of cuz left some things unanswered. I wanted to know what became of the cabbage, and if his company with under. Imma imagined it did. I wanted to know if Guy, after two heartbreaks found someone new, and if the mother was able to ever loved again or even bring a guy around her house. I hope not, I wouldn't. Guy can't be trusted.
All-in-all, a dramatic watch. Interesting concept and with the few episodes we got, it was done well, though too short. I enjoyed the drama and the actors portrayed their characters well. I'll recommend it to anyone who likes drama and crazy plots like this one. Having an affair with your mother's husband is... yeah, watch for yourself.

Touch Your Love
Listen, Jiang ShaoPeng's love language is touch, and I respect him for that. My man got himself a boyfriend, and we found his innocent face was just a facade, cuz every second he was lifting his lover up, then it was kisses here, touches there, and ignoring that his parents are in the house. Homeboy was wild, and I loved him for it."I can't hear, but I can see how you say you love me." -- And they showed us how he saw that love, in this very beautiful 13 episodes drama. See You Love is one of the best dramas that released in 2024. Arguable, it's one of the best bls out there. The drama is about two lost souls, one spoiled rich kid with a kind heart, who found love and realised he was not useless or weak, and shouldn't live for the approval of others, and about a loving deaf boy who never thought he was enough because of his disability, but learned to love himself and accept his limitation did not define him.
This drama made me laugh, cry, and in some cases, annoyed the hell out of me. Let me explain.
I CRIED When:
= Jiang Shaopeng couldn't find a job, although he's been working so hard and was more than qualify. People suck.
= When Yang Zi Xiang was explaining to Shaopeng that he's useless and weak in his family's eyes, and basically saw himself as someone who was worthless. Baby looked so small, and that fake smile had me tearing.
= When we found out Zixiang slept in that closet. Poor boy.
= When Jiang Shaopeng broke down after his mother was hospitalised, admitting that because he was deaf he has to rely on others for help, care and sympathy. 'Haven't I tried hard enough, haven't I been patient enough' made me sob.
= When Jiang Shaopeng's hopelessness and sadness made him fight with Yang Zi Xiang. When Zi Xiang was yelling at him for pretending to be strong, I had to pause the drama for a bit and get myself together.
= When the next day, Yang Zi Xiang wrote him that letter/phone note but said he wasn't going to apologies for what he said during their fight, and that being strong did not mean that Jiang Shaopeng couldn't also be weak. And although he himself is weaker, he want Jiang Shaopeng to let himself be weak and show his vulnerability when they were together, cuz he'd be there for him.
= When we found out how Jiang Shaopeng's friend Shu He blamed him and his disability for what happened to her. Girl how does that make sense? Why was it his fault?
= When Jiang Shaopeng finally gave in, rushed to Yang Zi Xiang in the hospital, hugged and kissed him. I clapped and cried happy tears when they finally got together.
= When I saw Jiang Shaopeng finally working where he wanted too and being happy about it.
= When Jiang Shaopeng said Yang Zixiang was part of his family. That was as good as getting married.
= When Jiang Shaopeng put his hand on Yang Zi Xiang's throat/vocal cord to hear/feel him say his name over and over again, while they cried. That scene emotionally broke me.
= When Shaopeng said that 'If in the future I become a burden to you, just tell me you want to break up, no need for any reason.' I yelled at my screen like, 'Boy dafug you saying?' Was so glad Zixiang reassured him, cuz dude was out there talking nonsense and making me angry sad.
= When Yang Zixiang wanted to sacrificed himself for his love and cousin. That boy is so pure, I love him so much.
= When Zixiang slept in the closet/wardrobe again, but Shaopeng said it was okay and they had lots of time to work through his issue together.
= When I saw that ring on their ringers in the post credit scene. They're married y'all.
I LAUGHED When:
= Yang Zi Xiang thought Jiang Shaopeng was the perfect hire cuz he was deaf, but Shaopeng was not having it, quitting when he saw through Zixiang's bullsh!t. Lmao, the way he aggressively quit and refused to come back had me rolling.
= When the second leads, Wang Xinjia was trying to kidnap and kill Jonathan, but my man ended up in his bed instead, and proceeded to fail miserably, until he even moved in with them and started working for them. Lmao, you call that being an assassin? he sucked so bad, it was funny.
= When we found out how WILD Jiang Shaopeng was after the two got together. Dude had zero shame, was always ready for a kiss, and did not care his parents were home, and could hear them. My man was on, and I respect that. But like in the scene when Zixiang first visited Shaopeng's room and immediately started rolling on the bed, sniffing his pillow, boy was just asking to be eaten, so I don't blame Shaopeng for losing control.
= When Jiang Shaopeng got jealous of the cousin, and then tried to run and hide his face cuz he was embarrassed.
= During that shower scene I was swooning and going... awww he has to step on his feet, ooofff hot, the chemistry is chemistrying, but before that I was laughing cuz poor Zi Xiang was like, let me take a shower, and Shaopeng was like, sure... but that doesn't mean we have to stop what we are doing. Boy, Shaopeng's innocent face had me in the first half. WILD.
= Not laughing, but I coo and smile whenever I see the size different between our two leads. Shaopeng is so tall, and it's so cute whenever he sits on Zi Xiang's lap. They are soooo adorable!
= When Jiang Shaopeng's father tried to fight Zi Xiang after he found out they were dating but immediately broke his back. LOL, that dude was so cureless, he didn't get a hint that whole time??
= When Zixiang was trying to figure out what he should bring as a bride price for Shaopeng. I was like, nothing, that boy is so gone for you he'd marry you on the spot.
= When Shaopeng looked pissed off and annoyed for being kidnap. The way he was calmly writing back his answers.
= When Shaopeng's dad was like, 'nope, ain't telling those love boys to break up. But thank you for the second son, I can see you don't want yours, I'll take care of him.' Goated, and I loved it.
= When Xin Jia's drunk arse thought he was in control and sober. LMAO, the whole time he actually believed that lie.
I ROLLED my eyes in Annoyance when:
= Shaopeng's female friend started getting jealous and wanted to cause trouble. The audacity after what she did.
= The slow build of the second lead, or I guess they're going backwards build, cuz they did the deal and now they just sort of roommates? Like are they supposed to be a couple or not? I've waited so long and nothing is happening with them.
= That random fiancée showing up and trying to start sh!t. Why were the females in this show so annoying?
= When Shaopeng's female friend was warning Zixiang not to hurt him or else. That girl seriously have too much audacity.
= Whenever that cousin of Shaopeng showed up. He was unnecessary mean for no reason, literally what the hell did he want? Shaopeng didn't even want the business and dude was still planning to assassinate him.
- That Cousin. Waste of screen time.
Plot wise, the story wasn't something new, but the execution and the chemistry of the leads carried the show. The main focus was on the two leads, and I hoped the secondary characters could have been well developed and have more scenes, but with 30mins episodes, it wasn't possible to give everyone the screen-time they deserved, nonetheless, they got their point across. Personally, I enjoyed almost everything about this show. The main couple were amazing in their roles, Raiden Lin and Jin Yun had such an amazing chemistry, and played off each other very well. They were able to convey the emotions the plot needed for us audience to connect with the characters, which made me enjoy it more.
All in all, although it wasn't perfect, it was a great show with lots of emotions and laughter. I'll highly recommend this to all bl and drama lovers. This was among my top 3 most favourite dramas of 2024, so yeah, give it a watch you'd like it. I really hope to see Raiden and Jin Yun in a drama together again. I'm gonna rewatch this one a lot this year, cuz it simply stole my heart.

U-turns Law Says... We Are All Psychos
These people had more lives than a goddamn cat. I kept screaming 'Is You Dead? Why is you not dead?' like every episode, and they just kept not dying. No really, by episode 2 half of the cast should have been in a coma, in wheel chairs, missing ribs and tooth or flat-out dead, cuz how?? These people even showed up to a brawl with umbrellas and after an epic beat down just stood up and walked off... they just walked away and took the bus home. HOW????Listen, I missed our little dead eyes psycho Yeon Si Eun. I missed how he always look like that one dude who goes outside after a month and come back and go 'dear dairy, I went out today and the humans are still there. I did not care for it.' Still, we love him and his high and mighty attitude, but why homeboy was out there this season walking around like a middle-aged man who drives an old Kia and sell lunch boxes at the fish market? No, but y'all saw his walking right? LOL.
Anywho. This season although it had its moments was missing the emotional heart of the first season. Except for some flimsy one dimension character info we knew basically nothing about the new cast we were supposed to care about. Take Baku, all I knew was his dad sells chicken and he once taught his friend to fight. And glasses he was... well, at least I remember him from XO, Kitty, so that's something. So yeah, we didn't get much background about the new cast, but what we did know was they could take a beaten and still show up to school the next day cuz they had math class, you know, variables and whatnot. So yeah, entertaining, overdone violence like always, but I did not connect with the new characters on any emotional level, still I liked them, cuz their friendship was developed to a point that I came to care about it, and it had its own charm.
The four main cast had good chemistry, and I bought their friendship. I liked how they were there for each other even when their lives were at risk. Even that weak loser held his own when it mattered. Personally by episode 5 they should all have been dead but well, they're fine so... we move. As for our underdog hero as always he was the see something pretend you don't care but do something anyway hero, kind heart and whatnot. He still liked pens and hugging legs. You'd think the bad guys would have learned by now but here we are.
And then there was that villain, Na Baek Jin. The moment that pencil case showed up I was like, yep, dude's dead inside. While Si Eun looks at people like they don't matter, this dude eyes were literally the gate way to hell. If he was my neighbour i'd have moved to a different city, heck, I might just leave the country for him. You ain't gonna suck the soul out of me, not today satan.
As villains goes he was your basic 'omg I'm the bad guy I'll use your love ones to torment you hahaha' bad guy. There was nothing special or unique about him. Literally the only thing interesting about him was that he got some math question wrong one time and dude made it his whole personality for a good minute. We get it, you understand variables, equations and stuff, let us have peace. So yeah, he was your basic villain who didn't even seem like he was smart enough for the hunger game, so nothing revolutional there, but he was interesting enough to keep the plot going and add to it, by showing up and doing villain stuff, so yeah.
Then of course, suddenly we are in a church and the writers showed like two seconds of his back story and motives, (but I'm distracted cuz he forgot to buy hair gel and dude is now out there with his hair looking like my auntie's church wig), and expect viewers to feel bad for him in the finale cuz he up and died off screen one time. Like? Nah fam, I did not connect with that pencil case enough to care. And I counted, dude had like at least 3 more lives left. Also, why were the four leads crying like someone stole their lunch when they were literally beating him yesterday?
HAHAHAHA, I'm sorry, but did this people show up to a brawl with umbrellas? What the hell were they afraid of? catching a cold? And where the hell were the teachers? These people were never there for anything at all. Baku walked into a school with a megaphone and screamed for a fight and nothing? And also where did the teachers think the students were in the finale. I'm pretty sure it was a Tuesday, so did they just assumed half the students stayed home? And how the hell no one, the teachers, not even the cops found it weird with all those missing phones? HOW?
All in all, yes, I missed the old cast, kept holding my breath waiting for our boy to wake up from his coma ,and when he did I clapped in happiness. When that loser friend from season1 showed up in black and white, I was like, 'where is you?' I wonder what became of him. But I was happy that Si Eun didn't just moved on, and his trauma forgotten. The moment he started to get involved and help Jun Tae I was like... Nooooo don't you remember the mouth breather from season1, you gonna get yourself in trouble again. But thinking about it, is Si Eun the chaos magnet who brings danger to everyone around him or is he just prone to bad luck and always get close to people who brings him danger? Which is which? Personally, I think Su Ho should have stayed in that coma, cuz with those new friends Si Eun just made them, he's probably gonna end up back in the hospital again in season3.
Anyway a good show to binge-watch. Those like me who waited for the second season would not be disappointed, cuz it's enjoyable. I recommend it to first season watchers and anyone looking for some underdog drama. I'm looking forward to season 3, hopefully it comes sooner than later.

Ossan's Nonsense
First off, who keeps putting Mix in those old men cloths? Like does he owe money to someone working at the Gmmtv costume department, cuz it’s getting ridiculous. Every time Mo was on screen I checked behind him, wondering if someone was going to pop up and take him to a retirement home. They made him look so dull and boring.MO
Mo was annoying. Yes, he had some trust issues, some self-esteemed ones as well, but really Susan? This dude would make a dumb decision and then be all moody about it the next second scene and disturb the viewers about it. Yes, yes, I liked when him and Heng were together, but still, super effing annoying. Cuz one of this problems literally went like this:
MO: OMG, I don’t want you to tell your mother we are dating. Instead pretend date your best-friend who you were in love with, and who is in love with you now.
HENG: No, I won’t. Let me tell my mother.
MO: Please, date her. Really, this idea is just the best, trust me.
*Two-seconds later*
MO: They look like a family. *sad, crying* Heng let’s break up, because you and your pretend girlfriend looks like you are dating.
ME: 🤨
We all know Heng was portrayed as the not so smart character, but really the dumbest person on this show was Mo. Even in the finale when Heng was like, "I’ll honor the engagement and marry you Boss." Mo said and did nothing, going ‘what’s the point he won’t remember anyway.’ Do you love him or nah? His stupid hero complex, which really was a stupidity complex was annoying as hell. You won’t say anything, but expect different results. Pick an effing struggle Sharon.
Yes, Mo was annoying. Every episode he was like: 'Oh no, look at me, look how sad I am. I sacrificed my love for Heng, so he’d be happy,' Sacrificed what Bob? All you did was kept your mouth shut and looked real sad at the camera. Go sit somewhere. Meh. Between those ugly arse outfits and his dumb decisions I was almost disappointed he ended up with Heng. If he’s gonna be so dramatic every time, then what’s the point? All he’s gonna do is stress poor Heng out. This role wasn't Mix's best, and unfortunately, those outfit didn't do him any good either.
HENG
Naive and dumb, and talked like he was standing beside a washing machine. But, I liked him. Can't say Heng was my favorite character, but he was a close, cuz he was the only one I could tolerated enough to care about so I guess he's number one by default.
Earth’s acting here, I know might not be for everyone cuz we all saw him when he was being typecast as the cool brooding type, but personally I think the character he played in Moonlight Chicken had the personality of a tablespoon and was very annoying. He was always like: 'Brood brooding, I’m gay and I am poor. Cry crying, my ex-boyfriend is cheater. Me me me, I sell chicken.' We get it, your life is sad, you’re not that special Sharon, move it along.
So yeah, this to me was refreshing, I liked it. He made me laughed at times and shook my head with shame the next at his stupidity/naivety. Don’t care about what anyone says, he did well with this role. As for the character himself, his pure naive heart is too good for this world.
BOSS
Creepy. Man couldn’t take no for an answer, and just kept forcing what he wanted on Heng every time. Also am I the only one who threw up a little in their mouth every time he said Hengney? Was that supposed to be cute? EW.
Yes, he was funny at times, made me laugh, but most of the time I found him very very creepy and also annoying. Like, he couldn’t see he was coming out as a desperate, creepy loser? Literally he must have seen he made Heng uncomfortable right? From the creepy stalking pictures, to the forced dating, to the living with him, to the proposal, everything he did was just wrong.
Yeah, I'm glad he didn’t end up with Heng, cuz… no.
PLOT
Well, we got what we got. I haven't seen the original Japanese version and this adaptation in no way made me wanna watch it. As a matter of fact, it made me wanna remove it from my to watch-list. So...
Still, let me just add, having an amnesia plot in the last episode was so effing unnecessary and made me rolled my eyes. Such a waste, if you don't have enough plot to make a full episode, end it at episode 10, it's not by force to do 12 episodes. All that constant flashbacks, waste of time. Whoever wrote this… actually whoever approved this, count your toes!
FINALE
Anywho, my thoughts on the finale.
- P’Ten: “He let you go because he loved you.”
HAHHAHA, make someone’s son come tell me such nonsense, na prison we go both sleep that night. Nothing vexes me past stupid romantic gestures.
- Also his best-friend, that bartender girl, who knew the truth that Heng loved Mo and vice versa, literally shut her mouth so her best friend, who has amnesia would marry his creepy boss who makes him uncomfortable. May this type of friendship never locate me! Though, that could be her revenge for her broken heart, you know the: if I can’t have him, you can’t have him, and he can’t have the one he loves either. Good for her.
- Boss screaming at Heng to go to Mo. Like? Boss went through the whole ceremony, vows and everything, then he finally sees Heng is still hesitant and then stopped it. What, was it his fantasy to be left at the alter? And were we supposed to feel sorry for Boss that he told Heng to go to Mo? Yeah, I don’t do sympathy on Mondays. The audacity, going through a wedding you know the amnesia victim doesn’t want and trying to play some sort of good guy. Miss me with that sh!t.
- I’m sorry but HAHAHSKSKKSKS what the hell was up with that clapping that the quest did for being Boss rejected?
- Also is it just me or did like only two people came to this wedding? At first I was like, oh no, all the money he had wasted, gone to waste, then I saw the venue and went: ah, never mind, wedding on a budget, we move.
- Mo running home and playing the victim again in that grandpa knitted vest. Seriously, was the original Japanese character this indecisive and annoying? Bish do you wanna play the hero or the goddamn victim, pick an effing personality. At this point, Heng should just be alone. Heck, he’d have a better chance married to one of those ugly toys/plushies he liked for an episode and the writers completely forgot about.
- Mo running after that carriage. Not gonna lie, my eye-roll turned into laughter, cuz… I just… yeah.
- The Boss randomly showing up with a carriage to help Mo. Again, stop forcing the redemption arc cuz this dude literally said ‘I’m helping you guys cuz I’ve been your Boss for years and know how much you two have been through’. Then WHY the eff were you adding to their problems every chance you got, Janet? Literally, two seconds ago you were trying to marry Heng, like???
- If this boy don’t stop this ‘Ah Heng, Ah Heng.’
- Me throughout that whole shouting confessing scene: "It’s Monday, please don't add more anger on top of my own." Then the Boss showed up and I lost it laughing. Also, why he keeps popping up? Did he ran there?
- Boss giving Heng and Mo hands to each other, like he’s approving it and giving them his blessing. Why? What right did he have? Nothing vexed me past when he walked away in slow motion with a smile like he did something. Well, at least his outfit looked better than Mo's, so there’s that.
- This magic of True Love’s Kiss out there working overtime, cuz it works even when all the lovers do is touch their eating holes to each others. To the singles out there, next time you need true love’s kiss, just use a pillow, would probably work just as fine.
- Heng: “Thank you for waiting for me Mo.” ME: “Dafug is you talking about? That dude did not wait for you, he immediately left your amnesia arse to marry your creepy boss and went home to cry to his mama.”
- During that whole dancing, singing rapping scene, I was like, ‘It’s gonna be real unfortunate if Mo get’s proposed to in that purple and ugly brown vest.’
- All that for Heng to leave for Japan...good on him, Get away from Heng and his drama for a bit.
Listen, when all is said and done, this show was at least watchable so there's that. There were some good laughs and a whole lot of nothing filler episodes, but it had its moment. Personally, this wasn't EarthMix's best work, but we did get to see a different side of Earth which I enjoyed.
Overall, I know not all the shows would be my fav, and I kept watching this cuz I like EarthMix, so this one is on me, but damn this tested my patient. I'm super looking forward to seeing them in Only Friends: Dream On. Please be good. Anywho, if you love them too, watch this one too, it’s worth at least a one time viewing.

You Should Have Watched This Yesterday
There's been a lot of garbage dramas this year, but once in a while you stumble across a little gem, and it brightens your whole day. This drama was beautiful, I loved every single moment of it and wished it was longer. Yes, even moments with that in-betweener brother, who meant well, but acted like he sniffed glue on his spare time. On second thought, if I catch him!Listen, I wasn't even looking for this drama. I was scrolling my somewhere on tiktok when a video popped up and this sister was like, 'watch this, it's good.' Obviously, since most of what's currently airing is meh, I checked out the first episode and ended up benching the whole thing in one go. Sure, a story, a plot like this of love and pining and acceptance in our society isn't anything new, but the direction and execution of it made it worthwhile. Here's my quick review:
The main characters had great chemistry and made the show. I felt their longing behind the screen, all the words they couldn't say, and the stable touches and wants were so obvious it was painful. Kudos to them for making this short drama feel so complete. The side characters were also okay, though that brother needed to take a hike. I get that he was concerned and loved his brother, and in his own misguided way was looking out for him, but bro invented a whole arse girlfriend cuz he saw his friend with a girlfriend one time in freshmen year, really Susan, really?
I loved the few songs we got in this as well, the background music and the nature all added to how much I enjoyed this drama. Personally, I'm not a bug person and would probably complain to high heavens if I should spend a whole summer here, but everything was so beautiful, it made me fall in love with their love and wanted to go summer camping with a lover, bugs be damned.
No really, they were out there: fruit picking, sunset watching, running around the woods and by the rivers, swimming, drawing, bonfires, playing in the rain, awwwwww, my heart was full and it wasn't even my relationship. Yes, I'm sure we all felt that kiss when they finally got together, the yearning and the pining really paid off, so congratulations to them I guess. Us single people would be in the corner.
I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone who loves bl, it's worth your time, and it's short and amazing, give it a chance. No really, watch it. Wish to see more of the two leads in the future. This is obviously going straight to one of my favourite dramas this year. Now off to watch the special episodes to see them be more lovey dovey in front of my salad.

Perfect 10 Liners & Their Sweethearts
24 weeks and all I learned was that being single is not for the weak. But between ArcArm round around that started with Arc driving Arm into an accident, YothaGun's situationship that ended with them crying in the bathroom and gangsters, FaifaWine and that one fine man that showed up to give Faifa a heart attack, is being single really that bad? Also, why were these people so dramatic cuz of some small relationship they were chopping. Let us breathe peoples!! Are you the only ones in love?Listen, this series was long, but there were episodes that had me laughing, some that had me throwing hands, and others that just made me roll my eyes, but all in all, a decent show with a rocky start, a solid middle and an acceptable ending. Let me explain.
ARC & ARM = Rating: 4/10
I’m sorry, but am I the only one who honestly think ForceBook have become too comfortable with each other to the point of being boring? They were chopping romance in that ugly orange couch and I was just vexed, cuz:
#1. Their chemistry is questionable. Yes, it’s there but like in a friendship, we are comfortable kissing each other way, so we don’t mind being paired sort of chemistry. They don’t even feel like they’re an old married couple like EarthMix, they just come off like they came to work one Tuesday and someone bet them to kiss their best friend so they were like ‘arite, but like you need to pay us for it.’ And that was it.
#2. Is that how you chop romance with a man you’re over the top in love with? What’s with all that face sniffing? My friend, let us be serious for this life. This is the type of romance you chop with someone you owe money. Is he your debt collector? Please grab that boy and kiss him and stop with the sniffing, enough already. I know they gave us that one scene, but like, after that it was all sniff here, sniff there, Arm getting drunk again.
#3. Their interactions after their arc wasn’t as romantic as YothaGun, cuz whenever they showed up, Arc was playing a cool guy with his hands in his pocket trying to look all aloof, and Arm was being loud and getting drank so he can be louder. Is it me or they had more lovey-dovey chemistry in their previous work?
#4. Meh. Was it the role? Did they just not fit it?
No. Just. This arc almost made me give up on this show. Sometimes, we just need to let things die with grace. Honestly I don’t really remember their arc all that well, heck I even forgot they had a second couple until I saw them in ep23, and I don’t blame myself, this drama aired for a hundred years and then some. No really, while it was airing, Jesus was born, and now he's about to get die, that's a whole life.
I’m still going huh at that scene when Arm went ballistic cuz he lost a t-shirt? What was up with that? Was it because it was his lovers or cuz he was overwhelmed? I still don’t fully understand why he hurt himself to get it.
Still arc had it's moments: which for me was Arm’s friend group. They had me laughing with their dramatic antics. That one who always got left behind when they met their partners, made me realised single life is is not for the weak. As for the rest of their arc, I remember the rain t-shirt scene, there was the mandatory beach scene … Sea and Tay were there, oh and the bracelet, though I personally think it's ugly/tacky was a nice romantic gesture so…
---Pond & Sand---
These two had no chemistry whatsoever. Who paired these couple? I feel like they had some chemistry in We Are when I first saw them there, here, nothing. They saying romantic stuff and I’m like: ‘who’s under the table with the paper you’re reading from?’ cuz that’s how it came off as. It felt like they were literally reciting their romantic lines off a board while they were filming. I did not feel their connection one bit, then of course they got sidelined, and didn’t keep popping up like rent was due like the other couples, so really I don’t feel bad about forgetting them.
Yeah, anyway, so this was my lest favourite arc out of the three cuz it didn’t really hold my attention, but it was watchable, so you should stick with it until the other arc starts, if not, watch episode 1 and skip to YothaGun's arc, you won’t really be missing anything important. Unless you like ForceBook like I do, then suck it up and watch it for them.
YOTHA & GUN = Rating: 6/10
You know what’s funny? How these two managed to put us in so much stress, when we knew they were gonna end up being boyfriends, cuz they literally started episode 1 in the future where they were boyfriends. Like, why were we out here stressing, crying, throwing up cuz they sucked at communicating and were breaking their own hearts?
I’d given up on this series until their arc started. They lit the fire under the show. The reason I stayed wasn’t even because of them, but because Faifa was in their arc. I love that dude so much. So yeah, I’m glad I didn’t give up and stuck with it, cuz Yotha and Gun’s arc was really good, made for some amazing discussions and brought the tl alive.
PerthSanta had great chemistry and played off each other’s character very well. There was never a dull moment with YothaGun. Al those close up stares with their faces so close, those tie scenes, those sleeping on the same bed scenes, so cute. But damn they were dramatic with their feelings: seducing and breaking up peoples' relationships, fighting with gangsters, sleeping with the lights on, crying in the bathroom there, doing the devil tango in Gun's parent's house. Yeah, they did a lot.
I’m sure everyone remembered where they were that Sunday when Yotha decided to find answers in Wa’s mouth and kissed him. Me, I was having water soup that day. But damn, I vexed. Like, how could you do that to Gun? WHY? I was so happy when Faifa took Gun’s side and they sent him packing. No, but these two stressed me out. Gun lying he could handle the no label situationship, breaking his heart over and over again, Yotha kissing Gun every chance he got, doing boyfriend stuff with him, saying lovers stuff to him then still insisting he didn’t know about his feelings cuz some dude broke his heart ones, and he has mama issues. Ahhhh, if I could reach through that tv with my rubber chicken! Like, let us breathe people. Are you the only ones in love? Let us have peace. I wanted to shake them, but, since everything ended up how it should, I guess, I’ll get over it.
I’m glad they figured it out in the end. Though my heart broke for Faifa when Yotha got his closure with their mom at his expense. That mother really sucked. Anywho, thanks to whoever paired PerthSanta cuz they did all of us a solid with that one.
---Wa & Klao---
I love the addition of them. Wa… this dude, I legit felt bad for Klao a lot of times, cuz Wa expected his boyfriend to be fine with him putting his ex first. Talking about I’m his whole universe and whatnot, how’s that fair to Klao? Then he kept breaking up with him, letting the poor boy get into fights and being all sad and pathetic waiting to beg and apologise so Wa would take him back. Nah, he did him so bad. I wasn’t even mad Klao didn’t like Yotha, who would? Wa needed to take lots of step back and check himself in the mirror cuz his attitude wasn’t it.
But they were so sexy though… oof, did y’all see them? Heck even Yotha’s room wasn’t spared. Klao knew what he was doing asking them to do it there, and then asking Yotha to help with the proposal, my man wasn’t taking any chances.
Also, I was laughing like hell when Klao character suddenly turned serious with those outfits, showing up like no I don’t smoke or drink, and now I wear grown up clothes. HAHAHAHA. Sure it was better than when he showed up every other episode to huff and puff and walk off either ashamed or angry, but still this serious version had me rolling.
FAIFA & WINE = Rating: 6.5/10
This was my favourite arc of the series. Why. FAIFA. I love him. The moment he showed up on screen, I was like, lol who is he and why he trying to slide in with the new kid like that? My arse did not know they were the third couple until like 2 coffee meet-cutes later then it clicked, and I was sold. I love FaifaWine.
These two were the kings of COMMUNICATION. After having to scream at my screen at Yotha and Gun to just talk, Faifa and Wine were a breath of fresh air. Sure, perhaps some may say they talked too much, and if they were a book they’d be more Tell than Show, but personally I loved how they talked about everything, it was in line with Faifa’s character, plus Wine was more than happy for the them to talk things out and get their facts straight, so yeah, I enjoyed the communication.
These two did not waste time in the romance department, straight to kissing, then Faifa's single-never-dated-arse tried to teach Gun dating tips, while the whole time he was just getting himself a boyfriend. Heck I hated this Tor person even before we met him, and then when we did, my arse was like… ‘hihi, I didn’t… please go away, respectfully…haha, your eyebrows are so fine!’ LOL, but why Gmmtv almost made us switch teams for a second? Not me though, I didn't switch teams for a second, trust me, my words are truer than my auntie's church wig. Mmmm hmm!
In case I haven't said it enough, Faifa was my favourite character cuz he felt the most relatable. I felt sorry for him when it came to the problem with his mother, which I still think they shouldn’t have forgiven her so easily, cuz again, the mother just suck! Plus nothing she did or said felt like she sincere meant her apology or have even learned a lesson, or even knew what she did wrong. I was so happy when Faifa finally met Wine, who wanted him to be himself instead of a people pleaser, who made him see the difference between everyone and having someone special, which… I swear I am done with the ‘word’ special, like enough, we get it, you’re special to each other. Dayum!
Now that tent scene. These children wild. Cuz what you mean you doing all that in public? during a concert? with many people around? In a tent with silhouette on full display? And for your first time together too? Wild, just wild. Damn, I wasn’t familiar with your game… but carry on.
Faifa to Wine: "My life wasn't just missing things, it was broken, you fixed it."
Faifa to Wine: "Thank you for reducing what I have too much of and filling in what I'm missing."
Just putting these quotes here so you'd know how Wine healed Faifa, in returned he also healed Wine's chipped heart. Ahhhh, they are so made for each other.
This arc didn’t have a second couple, cuz all the other couples had to have screen time. Not gonna lie, sometimes I just wanted the other pairs to go away so we can get more Faifa and Wine. What I was looking forward to the most was how Faifa and the mother fix their issue. But it was apparently resolved off screen by Gun who let the mother understood some stuff… why couldn’t we see that when it’s a big part of Faifa’s character? Meh. Sure we got her sorry arse stupid apology that was like, 'I didn't love you enough cuz other people loved you.' Hows is that... how couldn't she see problem with that statement???
Also, my arse went ‘my friends, my friends, let us be serious in this life’ when Arm and Gun were acting like relationship experts and giving advice and wanting to orchestrate things between Faifa and Wine. Peoples we saw yous a few minutes ago acting fools and crying your eyes out cuz you sucked at doing this love thing. If you don’t go sit down somewhere.
I love the friendship between Faifa and Wine, they were funny and there when the other needed them, but most of the time they were just bickering and it was fun. Also Faifa and Phuri. Hahaha those one line english drops, and their dramatic arse, I start laughing the moment I see Phuri, love his character.
FINALE:
That one hour felt longer than the entire series. My fav part was the behind the scenes in the credits, and Yotha and Faifa finally talking about the mother, no matter how short it was. Very sweet, everyone was happy all around. Well, except for Po who said no one ever died from being single then died so, I guess he's not happy. Klao and Wa are getting married. I think Yotha and Gun are engaged but like on the wrong finger, so a promise? Arc and Arm are, well, you all saw it. And Faifa and Wine like tents. All in all, a very happy ending finale as one would' expect from a show like this one.
OVERALL
The plots were nothing new we, but the actors made the characters interesting and the show fun to watch, Although I went 24 episodes?? Now that it's ended, I'm sad it won't be there every Sunday. Again, the third arc was my favourite, and Faifa was my favourite character with Gun being a close second although he annoyed me so much when he kept breaking his own heart with his dumb decision to be in a situationship with Yotha when he knew he couldn't handle it.
All in all, a good show, not sure I’d have enjoyed it as much if they did it 3 separate shows, but when everything is put together I quite liked the overall production and would recommend it to all bl lovers or at least anyone who like any of these cast. And remember, being single is not a serious disease. No one ever dies from being single. ^^
