Worth your time, great chemistry, interesting new kind of story
I've just completed this drama and I totally loved it.I've seen dramas of FL + ML before but I did not recognise the ML in the teaser. He is such a versatile actor and I am at awe how he can change from "I'm a poor puppy, protect me please" to "I'm a psycho and I might eat your liver just because I can". (he doesn't say that don't worry.)
I am surprised how the story turned out to be about empowering women and changing the game. So refreshing! Writers, please give us more of this kind of stories.
If you're tired of the damsel in destress then this is absolutely for you.
There is a lot of slow burning romance and I mean burning hot romance, the chemestry is absolutely there. The way it is shot there must have been a big enough budget. Clothes, costumes, everything seems high end and elaborated as you can see right in the opening scene.
The main leads are amazing but all the other cast members were great, too.
Some are added for a bit of humour, fun and warmth and I really appreciate the writing of this story - also because of this.
The ending is super nerve-wracking and I am happy they found a good enough ending.
I don't want to spoiler the end so I'm not gonna write much about it. I was hoping for a different kind of ending but in line with the writing it makes absolutely sense. So, cudos to the writers.
Of course, I whole heartedly recommend this drama and I'll probably rewatch it.

Pure chaos and I'm here for it
This drama is pure chaos from the beginning to end - therefore, don't take it too seriously, lay back grab the popcorn and enjoy this rollercoaster ride.I love Wang Haozhen and Wang Ge Ge and they team up with an amazing cast. I think they all had a really good time being on set together and acting out this very funny drama.
There is sister spirit between the two FLs, I love a great friendship between FLs on screen. The men seem though but the FLs are dancing samba on their noses and loving every minute of it. FLs are ride or die best friends.
This is really an amazing drama which I look at differently than dramas where I expect some artistic refienery. The art her is in the dialogs, the plot and honestly - if there is an award for funniest lines in a drama: This one definitely would earn one.
A small employee is trying to guilt trip a FL and produces the weirdest succession of sentences leaving nothing but empty meaninglessness. I'd almost say this is Dada art :)
This drama will make you laugh and leave you feeling light-hearted and happy - which is why it is worth every second you spend watching it.

So funny, feel good drama
This drama is so funny. It made me laugh and giggle.Both mainleads are beautiful. I think they have great chemistry.
The acting of the whole cast is great.
The 2ML and ML must have had big fun while shooting this drama. For some people, 2ML was their favourite character.
There are no unnecessary long monologues or violent scenes.
However, the spice is mild, too. But as I mentioned, the chemistry is there and when they do "chemistry" together you totally cheer for them.
I love strong females and if you are the same like me, then you'll enjoy this one.
There isn't a damsel in distress, rather a female making the ML stressed with pranks and flirts.
There are only few flashbacks (as it is a rebirth drama). The flashbacks are rare and short.
So if you're not a fan of rebirth stories I think you'll enjoy it anyways.
(I didn't focus on the music, wanted to not rate it but I have to put a number to rate it)

Family drama with fun and fantasy
I loved watching this. I haven't watched many fantasy vertical drama therefore it was a refreshing plot for me.The acting of the whole crew was splendid. Especially the kids were outstanding. Loved all the good characters.
There is a lot of humour and funny bickering going on so I was entertained and in a good mood the whole time.
The past story of the FL is actually sad and heavy but the the current story doesn't drag the viewer down too much (in my opinion).
The fantasy elements were well made. They were limited so it's not some extensive crazy fantasy world but rather some super power moments and those were well executed.
The story touches many subjects and if you want you can think about it when the drama is finished or you can just turn off and continue your day. I'm not going into detail as it would lead to spoilers.
The chemistry between the ML and FL is nice. I also liked how you feel all the people who should like each other also give that warm "we are family and friends" vibe which feels like a warm hug.
I recommend this drama if you like a little bit of fantasy.

If werewolves were real - this could be a real story
I'm a new fan of actor Chen Rui Feng and while searching through his dramas I found this one where he plays a werewolf.I've chosen to watch this because I expected it to have a different plot compared to the gazillions of cdrama outthere simply because there are less werewolf dramas than normal CEO dramas.
And I was not disappointed.
I really liked how the mainleads evolved, changed and it all made sense. They had their own individual perspectives on people and situations and then act accordingly. Which is why: if werewolves were real this could be a real story :)
ML is great in acting. 👨 👩
He really shows very different personalities and all are credible. The chemestry with the FL is burning and she matches his abilities in acting (although she has to show less different faces).
The son is such an adorable boy and is a nice addition to the crew. Actually, I'd say the whole crew is doing a great job.
The plot is healthy. 🌸
Often the FL is mistreated throughout a drama and I find it difficult to watch. Here she does suffer but rather in a way of what she had been through. Therefore: surprise! The FL also doesn't get kidnapped.
The man - woman dynamics are mature and rather healthy.
If you are looking for spice: turn around and leave. 🌶️🚫 The chemistry is sparkling indeed but there are no spicy scenes and almost no kisses. I was thinking maybe I've watched a censored version. (I doubt it though).
I recommend watching. It is not too much into a fantasy world. It's rather a story where werewolves simply live in a normal human world.
I'm trying to write without spoilers as I am always happy to read other's reviews without getting any spoilers (because why would I want to watch it..)
Greetings from my algorithm: after watching this drama the next one shown to me was a MALE mermaid giving birth.

Tough gangster is loosing to a woman
This drama was funny and beautifully shot.As the mainleads are eye candy you're in for a treat. The scenes are old school and the dresses are cool and well fitted.
I've seen a preview (about 45 min) and knew I really wanted to see the whole drama.
It is a joy to watch the story unfold and the mainleads getting to know each other.
It's funny from beginning to end but it's not too much and therefore doesn't become silly. All actors do a great job and the story is rather something different than the usual.
It's my first time seeing this FL. She is perfect for this role and I think the fun of watching the whole drama is also due to her acting. Of course, the appearance of Cheng Cheng's face is a nice treat I gladly welcome every minute of it.
With the ending.. I have a tiny bit of hope there might be a sequal. I'd be really happy.

Slow but good when you watch the whole drama
Oh damn, I watched in the wrong order. Long ago watched Summer rose and it became one of my favourite dramas. Now this popped up out of nowhere and I watched it because I like the FL.There are many things that make this drama great. ML and FL are gorgeous and the chemistry including all what happens between them is credible. Good acting. Also the rest of cast performed really well. The cinematography is beautiful and doesn't look cheap.
Now, why am I not completely over the moon?
I started this drama one late evening and tried to continue it always in the evening and honestly I dozed off often. It is slow on purpose (my streaming had bad translation on top).
There is misunderstanding piling up on another misunderstanding so you just want them to come clean and talk openly and when it all ends you don't understand how there could be so many big problems (while other problems are being totally understandable).
I also felt it is incredibly sad. As I liked the FL and she experiences nothing but a sad life (except few minutes of backlash that happend before the current story and aren't present at all) there is no warmth for her and I find it extremely difficult to watch that. If there were more uplifting moments for her I'd be less critical, if there were more happy couple moments.
ML was convincing but sometimes I didn't understand what was going on, so much self deception you don't see your one and only love slipping away?
So, somehow great drama, somehow a bit slow. If you are in the mood for slow cinematography and sadness then you don't have to hesitate and watch.
I'll rewatch summer rose now.
Again, my drama had bad translation, so don't come after me :)
