I understand your argument/explanation but I don't particularly agree with everything you wrote. I definitely understand the context but it is precisely because of issues like these that people still hate each other :( perhaps had Mokdan been nicer to Shunji, perhaps he would've picked her over his family? Who knows. I don't think one should judge someone just based on their family history. Though I do understand that this is a complex situation.

That moment when you realize rhe plot is so complex that if the scriptwriter manages to tie this all together at the end, she deserves a freaking oscar.
I also like how this drama isn't what you expect it to be. It twists a lot of clichés and is very refreshing among other kdramas. A rare gem <3
