I guess they were too hungry and sad to care. They saw the prince as the ray of sun i the darkness, their only hope and then the king sent them "the wolf dog". I guess it was also symbolism to really show how people viewed him. He is truly an outcast. I felt so freaking bad for him D'X i dont know why, but i kind of got Disney movie Quasimodo feels then. That scene reminded me a lot of how Quasimodo was misstreated. Sure wang so did bad things but it was because he already had rumours goinh in about him. He just realized it was hopeless to change peoples view on him. So he decided to play the role of the mad evil dog they believed he was/is. In the end if it werent fir his scar and the mask people wouldve treated him differentlu and wkth respect but rumours spread about his face underneath the mask and how hr was a monster it is truly sad how people believe and judge way too quickly. When they realized he wasnt a monster under the mask they stopped mistreating him. Ignorant stupid evil people Dx they made him the monster he is. He is a pitiful guy T_T

I wonder how she realized it was him? I mean did she connect the rain praying ceremony and historcal facts and realize it is him or does she have a sixth sense??

She doesnt deserve him. He is too good for her -.- seriously...DGW may be goinh over to the dark side but he deserves better than a woman like Soo Yeon. All she ever did was to hurt him or be with him "just because". He truly loved her, he even took a bullet for her I wish i could say she truly loved him too...but that would be a lie -.- I shipped them though Dx I dont think OSY deserves Ki Tan either. She was just so dumb and ...ugh. Ki tan should end up with Shin Young.

Omg x_x i feel so bad for Gun Woo Dx he died in such a tragic way. He even took a bullet for soo Yeon who didnt deserve it -.- and what about the ending? Did Ki Tan survive? We just saw the operation...ugh open ending Dx but i guess his smile was either a smile because of the happy memories before he died OR a reasurement that everything would end up well? Either way this was a good drama with ups and downs. Park Ki woong definitely slays complex villain/anti-hero roles. I wonder if he'll have to die every single time though. Breaks my heart T_T <3

I'm kind of worried about Baekhyun. I read somewhere that Prince Eun dies Young ._. basically the same age as the Crown Prince becomes King. So in the near future he will die?

I found that if you Watch the drama on kissasian.com, it is the korean tv version with all the scenes. and ofc, since it's kissasian.com it will be subbed.

I also wondered about that XO or maybe because the other two kings reigned for such a short time period, they weren't mentioned much in history books, hence after Taejo, Gwangjong is the second important king Hae Soo learned about in her history class?

Ah xD yeah, well the chinese drama has a different ending from the novel. So I wonder which one the korean version will follow, or if they'll make their own ending.

For those who don't know, It seems like there will be cut scenes from episode 6 and onwards, therefore to get the full story Watch the subbed episodes and then look up the cut out scenes on youtube or elsewhere with subs. It's important to see them so the episode wil make snese. some scenes are less important than others, but for example the backstory of why Yeon Hwa is the way she is and the bromance between Baek Ah and Wang So is explained in the cut scenes. So....don't forget to check if everyone episode from 6 and onwards have cut scenes! The drama will make more sense + it's sad to miss out on important information right? :s

It doesn't have to be. I mean, Secret Love Affair was quite raw and showed adultery xD so It wouldn't surprise me if this drama has that theme too.

Well, I'm glad the dad thing got resolved quickly. i was worried they would drag on with it for like 3 episodes. Where she would be in denial, be fooled and then finally realize he is a fake. I'm quite surprised it got resolved and she found out he was a fake very quickly xD haha

I love how deep and symbolic this drama is. It's not just a simple romance drama with "a flat piece of cartboad female lead and many hot guys who flirt with her". Hae Soo is clever and brilliant. The focus is not just on the romance, it's so much more than that! The entirety of ep 8 made me cry how Beautiful and sad it was. My feels T_T Lee Joon Gi is just...phenomenal with his facial expressions.
