My top is Kang Dong Won in ''Duelist'' and many people who know me why I chose him :DHe is the king of all villians....I…
I don't think he's that evil. For sure Sad Eye is an assassin (who kills many people), but he was an orphan, and was raised and trained by a bad lord for his own business. But Sad Eyes does have a warm heart, he loves Nam Soon, he cares her by little details, he even betrayed his lord to protect Nam Soon. So, I think he is kinda an anti-protagonist tho. I think the real villain in Duelist is the lord who raised Black Eyes. Sorry for my bad English :)
Lady Mishil (Queen Seon Deok): the villainess who totally wiped out all the power of men surrounding her. Jang Hee Bin (from the same name drama of 2002): classic evil concubine, tries to kill Queen Inhyun, then receives one of the most tragic death in Korean drama. Jo Tae Oh (Veteran): a cocky, arrogant, bastard chaebol, who gives no f****ing care to people. Jo Yoon (Kundo: Age of the rampant): Naturally gifted talent of using weapons (especially sword), an extremely evil landlord, who suppresses poor farmers for his own purpose. Jo In (Haunters): a man who can control people's mind only by his stares. He is a serial killer, killing people by controlling their mind, making them commit suicide. Urgh, thinking about him makes me goosebump. Yep, you heard them right.
Red Sorghum brought me to him. Such great acting. I still remember the scene that Zhang Jun Jie cries when he knows Jiu Er sings to decoy the Japanese to the landmine in the middle of the sorghum field, such touching scene.
I recommend Red Sorghum (which is the first Chinese drama I've watched and it made me got attention to Chinese dramas, it made me cry a lot at the end too :< ), Nirvana in Fire (lol I can't get out of this one it's sooooo perfect for me), The Advisor's Alliance, All Quiet in Perking, Surgeons, The First Half of My Life, In The Name of The People,... although these dramas aren't easy to watch (some are utterly complex to understand), but these ones are made with high quality, I hope that you won't disappointed.
