Oh, that’s actually a really smart way to deal with the different accents across China. I guess I need to read more about this. Even though this explanation makes sense, sometimes noticing the slight difference between the lip movements and the voice—especially in a drama like this, where it’s not very obvious—can still feel a bit off. I think I only noticed it because I’m so in love with this drama and have watched it over and over again. Still, thank you so much , this was really helpful 🤍
Budded by Ling Fei/凌飞, an experienced voice actor. Yun Qi and Hao Yiran both have beautiful vocies but there…
Oh, thank you so much for this information. There’s also one more question I was hoping you could answer: is it only Fanxiao’s voice that was dubbed, or was Youshulang’s voice dubbed as well?
Actually, I’m a newbie to C-dramas, and this is my very first Chinese series. I honestly had no idea that using voice actors is such a common practice in Chinese dramas. Why is it like this? Why do they use voice actors so often? I feel like hearing the actors’ real voices helps you build a deeper and more valuable emotional connection with them. Somehow, after finding this out from you guys, I can’t help but feel a slight distance between me and the characters, even though I still love the drama.
Guys, there’s something that’s been stuck in my mind for a while now, and I remember seeing a comment about this too. Does anyone know if Fanxiao’s voice is actually Yun Qi’s, or if it was done by a voice actor? I didn’t want to believe this at first, but after rewatching the series again and again, there are some scenes where the lip movements and the voice just don’t feel perfectly matched. I truly wanted to believe that the voice we’re hearing is Yun Qi’s. So could someone please clarify this for me?
Hey guys, does anyone know where I can get the instrumental OST from this series? Especially the one in the ep 12 trailer. Has it been released yet? I'm fascinated by its piano🥲🫠
Staying true to the novel meant everything to me. Episode 11 broke that a bit, but the acting healed it all. YSL’s portrayed depression and that “walking dead” state so convincingly that I genuinely wished my phone screen had a teleport feature so I could jump through it and give him a hug. 🥲😭

If you find out, please let me know as well♡

I've been waiting for it ever since yesterday's episode ended.
