ML is very attractive. Reminds me of a young Michael Jackson.

Plus the writers made sure that the leads didn’t grow up together and were total strangers when they met to avoid awkwardness. They also ensured the ML knew early so that his interest (it’s starting to be obvious) is not gross. I just now need her to know her identity asap so they can romance each other properly.

If people put spoilers like they should this shouldn’t happen. I have literally seen at least 10 people clearly asking this question and someone replying with a spoiler tag below.

This comment section is sooo boring and exhausting. I miss the one for SOKP - we actually had fun and exciting exchanges. All I read is FL’s voice and people not bothered to read comments and asking over and over the relationship between the leads. Please READ the comments before asking something.

She forced her useless son to marry a woman he didn’t like (FL’s mother) which ruined their lives. She said it herself that her son is bitter because of this. She also practices clear and unfair favouritism (I dislike some of the ither daughters but they are her grandchildren and she should love them all) which, again, is instigating everyone to hate FL. She claimed to love FL but failed to protect her although she knew the concubine was lying. How can you not stand up to a mere concubine? The FL is a legitimate daughter so grandma could have easily used her tricks (fainting or threatening to kill herself) to convince her son. Finally, she is also treating the ML like a pariah although her son impregnated a maid. She is just as rotten as her son but C dramas are obsessed with filial piety and want to make us believe that elderly people can do no wrong. Also, her constant fainting is irritating.

Lord of Yunpei is supposed to be despicable but the actor is too sexy to elicit these types of feelings. I must be really shallow lol

Adapted doesn’t mean copy/paste. They often change a lot of things. Novel and drama audiences are different and want different things. Format is different, regulations, length etc.

The thing is, their chemistry is already palpable (IMO) which I love as it's rare in C drama these days. But I can't get into it since it's still incest at this stage until they know the truth. So really hoping they won't drag it

I know FL/ML are not related considering the fact that they are presented as a future couple but I hope they disclose their identities ASAP as I can’t engage with seeing them getting close while they think they are siblings.

This is a drama, they don’t need to follow the novel to please novel readers

The ML and FL and beyond adorable together. Based on the pictures they are so well suited and cute together . I hope we get the identity reveal asap as it’s awkward to see them acting like siblings

She literally was ok to give up on her whole kingdom by escaping the wedding. If they didn’t switch identities her people would have become enemies so she has always been selfish and free spirited. I don’t think she is more ethical than the bandit

Not in South Korea. He wasn’t innocent but the judge ruled that not giving consent is not enough to be considered rape. Korean law enables s** offenders as everyone knows.
