I enjoyed watching this drama. but I think this is overrated, agree?I mean if the FL wast played by Bia lu it…
Absolutely not, it is actually underrated. It is easily in the top 5 historical romance drama spot. Maybe that’s not the genre you like as it’s pretty dark and mature.

Is this better or Yanxi Palace better? please help me make a decision! As you all know our time is limited but…
Depends what you like. Too much palace intrigues bore me, i like a bit of it but prefer when a drama focuses on the couple and their growth and romance. So I prefer this drama. It’s slow burn romance but the best romance and skinship I’ve experienced in a drama
He is the most misunderstood male lead ever. He got so much hate in earlier episodes but he didn’t end up abusing her like her friend in the first life and protected her with his life in the second.
You seem to have an unhealthy hatred towards a character. She acted like this out of desperation because her father was going to be beheaded. She has emotions. You are being so weird with those over the top analysis.
The biggest pity party is this comment section actually. I understand sharing various perspectives on a drama but some of you literally come here just to moan. No one forces you to come and watch so just stop watching if you can’t bear it. Jeez
I uploaded the relationship chart.https://kisskh.at/photos/4e4zV1_3Empress Dowager has two sons, the Emperor…
Ahh make perfect sense! Thank you so much. Wow so prince FU only has one son. No wonder his parents dote on him so much. What an incredible family lineage.
It's confusing. I thought the brother was the crown prince but after watching ep 32, he is not the crown prince.…
Hey there, but in the flashbacks you can see the brother in the palace and he is talking about what ministers said in court so he should be a real crown prince, no? One explanation could be if his father (prince) is the emperor’s brother and if the emperor doesn’t have any descendants (then it would make sense to appoint his nephew ?)
Has anyone read the book? I still don’t understand the family dynamics. The ML calls the crown prince 5th brother but his father is not the emperor. Am I missing something ?
Yes, I want to watch something like change like that too. I am tired of the lead couple chasing each other.
Why does she need to be young. If you want to break the stereotypes it should be an older single woman who doesn’t look like a model but is smart and competent.
Ah I didn’t realise the FL’s family may be against marrying a royal. I assume you read the book? Can I ask what type of royalty his family is since he seems to be super close to crown prince. Is he his cousin?
