Yes, he is the weakest god of war I've seen in a drama. He also lacks charisma but that's my personal opinion. I loved the God of War leads in "Love and destiny" and "General and I" as they really looked the part, had that fearless charisma and were not the "flower boy" type.

I honestly find him extremely weak for a god of war. He constantly gets injured and he is no match to DFQC. In most dramas the God of War is at least a match to the antagonist, And I find him really naive and not particularly smart (he doesn't think strategically, he is pretty impulsive). He can't even spy or escape without getting caught straight away! No offence to the actor playing him but the character was really written to make the ML shine.

Agreem this is truly top notch. I'm in awe in each episode.

Also wanted to add that I'm very thankful that the director created a 2ML that is useless. He is gorgeous but as the God of War his powers are so weak that it makes it so much easier for the ML to shine. It;s hard for a lot of viewers to "accept" an evil ML so the second lead syndrom could have been strong. But the ML is so powerful, charismatic and smart (vs purely evil) that it's too hard to resist him. In AOL most people had 2LS because the 2ML was equally (if not more) capable than the ML and had so much screen time. So liking how they are giving the 2 ML a lot of screen time so that we can see their romance growing.

I don't think anyone (including me) would habe predicted to be this good: the acting, the CGI. storyline, direction, pace. Absolutely NO FILLER scenes, amazing romantic build up, no time wasted on unnecessary side characters, the ML actually has most screen time with FL (unlike IS). This is the perfect example of the "perfect" Xianxia IMO. IS is a huge disappointment despire the stellar cast of leads.

OMG this drama is a GEM. I was not expecting it to be this good. I'm actually shocked. This is by far the best CGI I've seen in a Xianxia drama. The art and costume director also did an incredible work. Nothing looks cheap or fake, it's really immersive and exquisite. Despite me not liking the FL that much, I'm totally sold on their chemistry. Dylan is incredible in this and the tension is AWESOME. I rated it 10.

This is literally the drama that had 0 chance to fail - both leads are hit machines with huge fan followings, but also happen to be very good actors. No excuse for them to want to save money with 2 A list actors so viewers are allowed to complain.

100% agree but people will call you a hater for just stating facts. I adore both leads and it's absolutely not their fault as both are amazing actors but the drama's direction and production is a failure so far compared to similar ones (AOL, TMOPB, and even the new one Love between deveil and fairy). I will keep on watching because I love both leads but I'm disconnected now from the story and their love.

Feel the same, sooo many filler scenes that we don't need. The plot is now all over the place. The mortal arc is not good IMO.

I don't like the FL but even I find this drama super addictive. The production quality and CGI are honestly amazing, the plot is fast paced with no filler scenes (so far), chemistry is amazing despite the FL's annoying baby voice, and the ML is a gem in this drama. And the ML is on the bad side for a change so no cheesy romance. Would recommend.

I assume the countdown for the next episodes is wrong on MDL? It seems that there won't be new episodes tomorrow?

Don't like the SML at all. He is a pretty face but that's it. He has little charisma IMO and is a boring character

Seriously impressed by Dylan this time. I didn't like his acting in Miss the Dragon but he's improved so much. This is such a layered character that could easily be cringe but I'm totally sold and I personally don't have 2nd lead syndrome. I really love when the ML is the villain as it's so rare.

I agree but I do blame her though as this is a common factor is her dramas. That 5 year old cringey voice. You can sound youtful and preppy without sounding like an actual child. The issue is that her character is not dumb at all - she has deep thoughts and understand love and limits between men/women so she really shouldn't be acting and pouting/crying in such a babyish way. I find it honestly repulsive.

There is something called balance. Not everything is black and white. She sounds and acts in an insufferable way. It's literally painful for me to listen to her which is a shame considering how great the other actors are. The drama is also super entertaining but wrong cast for the FL.

Please someone tell me that the FL is supposed to be 13...otherwise I will just drop it as I can't bear hearing this cringey baby voice unless she is supposed to be a child who will grow up.
