It seems love triangle on surface but if you start watching the episodes, you'll realise it's not. There is no annoying love triangle as they are into different ppl (it's kinda spoiler, but you'll get it when you watch it) it's not happy or sad ending, bittersweet word would be appropriate for this.

Well not exactly sad but it's bittersweet, watch it then you'll get it. I'll recommend to watch movie version too, tho it has different story but same characters with happy ending.

He is not male lead but that jerk will chase her in later episodes only to get rejected by her

I feel you. That trio friendship was so heartwarming in original meanwhile in Korean remake, that friendship part was missing & focused only on romantic aspect.

Totally agreed. In manga, author never hinted their relationship to be romantic. IDK why drama version tried to romantisize their relationship, it's disgusting coz he was adult & she was minor. He himself was also weirded out with that idea of marrying her.

I disagree. It's completely inappropriate since she was minor & he was in his 20s so showing it in romantic way is misleading meanwhile the actual plot of manga is different. Some ppl will feel disgusted or give it a tag as p*dophile story since makers romanticized it meanwhile it's not true. It would have been fine if they made other scenes different from manga since it's not necessary to follow manga however taking weird turn from manga by romanticizing their relationship (which was biggest point in manga & story) is inappropriate & in manga their relationship was not like this, it gave more of a platonic or siblings vibes.You may think however you want but don't try to change my opinion or any manga readers who felt drama version was misleading it.
