You are desperate to show that your fanaticism is extreme to the point of falling into a state of denial.
Fanaticism ? Let me remind you that this is Yoo Yeon Seok's page on MDL, so it's very normal that I post my good opinion about his acting and state how much I'm looking forward to his next projects. You, on the opposite, are aggressively picking on me out of nowhere, since your post is not a direct answer to mine.
I think it's the opposite. People who react so excessively to his harmless remark are very conservative.
It is your logic, not mine. You're imagining that there is a victim, although there is not. This way, you can have the illusion that you're a good person. Then you will just make up more things to prove your distorted logic ("Co-stars will avoid... blabla"). But it's just in your imagination, dear. The fact is that Moon Chae Won genuinely praised Yoo Yeon Seok's personality, and even shared that he made her very comfortable on set although he was a bit older. Her words are close to what people in the industry have been saying about Yoo Yeon Seok over the years, since the man is known for his caring personality. With your deviant way of thinking, you even insult me out of nowhere (I never insulted you) and on top of that, you fake to "worry" about my loved ones, lol. Probably because you already run out of arguments.
First of all, I'm waiting for Yang Se Jong's return in Doona! I miss this great actor so much. I'm also expecting Sweet Home 2, Black Knight and Mask Girl.

Do you prefer bigot, then? For sure, you're very superficial if you think you can judge and insult a person based on an 3 min extract from a film presscon that you came across on Twitter. You even go further and make up that actor Yoo "(fill the blank)-shamed" his costar, although to this day Moon Chae Won never complained about him, nor any other actress who has worked with him during his career. The guy is clean as a whistle, get over it.
You should definitely watch Duel, Thirty But Seventeen, and, if you can handle some heartbreak with intense bromance…
Sorry for the late reply. I must say that I enjoyed reading your imaginative flower tale, haha. Duel also is also very special to me (and to date is my favorite drama). Yang Se Jong really caught my attention in Dr Romantic back in 2016, so when I heard he would be in a SF drama with Jung Jae Young, I was very intrigued. Honestly, I didn't know the word "gobsmacked" that you used, but it is also what describes the best the shock I had while seeing him act as the two clones Lee Sung Joon and Lee Sung Hoon. I had never seen a rookie actor capable of putting such depth, sensitiveness and intensity into not only one, but several characters at the same time, and showing such steadiness in his acting throughout the whole story. Like you said, the characterisation of each character is so subtle (I don't forget the doctor!) and doesn't rely on props. I think he is so smart. He will forever be the most impressive rookie actor ever to me. As for My Country, I think his interpretation is very mature and rich. I love the subtle balance between strength and vulnerability that he puts into his character. He is so expressive all the time, and his interpreration is a pure masterpiece in emotional scenes. And of course he's so handsome, elegant, cute and sexy at the same time with this sageuk look. I agree that the other lead actors are excellent, but Yang Se Jong is more outstanding to me. Now I'm happy that I can rewatch again his dramas knowing that I will discover him soon in a new role.

Yang Se Jong is indeed a brilliant actor. Like you said, he had so many characters and such different characters just in his first year of appearance. This is unique. My favorite roles of his are in Duel, My Country and Temperature Of Love. In fact, I'm rewatching Temperature Of Love right now, and I'm amazed by his ability to portray the evolution of a young man to a more mature man with such detailed and delicate acting. And he has insane chemistry with Seo Hyun Jin, which is especially remarkable since he was a rookie actor at the time. He's also superb in Still 17, I agree. And he was an outstanding supporting role in Dr Romantic and Saimdang as young Lee Gyeom. Yang Se Jong's return to the screen is definitely fantastic news.
I’m a big fan of the webtoon, but unfortunately the casting has really shaken my confidence in the drama adaptation……
Then what about Twenty Five Twenty One and Our Beloved Summer, both with Kim Tae Ri and Choi Woo Sik playing high school students at 31? They lifted our doubts about their age as soon as they began to act. Suzy and Se Jong are younger than them, and they both look young because they are still in their 20s, the decade where a human being's appearance changes the less in his/her life. They also don't act as high school students but university students, which is really different. After that, it's up to them to convince us with their acting skills that they are Doona and Won Joon. I will add that this casting has gained one of the best responses from netizens I've witnessed so far, in terms of adequation between the actors and their webtoon counterparts.
Why do keep mispelling Yang Se Jong's name? You write Se Jeong in the title, then both Se Jeong and Se Jong in the article. It's Yang Se JONG: 양세종. Please correct it, especially since this error was already there in the first news for this drama in April.
I think he debuted during his last year as a student. He was studying acting in Korean University of Arts, one…
Me too. Since he said in a recent interview that he will appear in all the projects that were sent to him before his military discharge, I guess we will see him more often from now on.
Yoo Yeon Seok is a very good actor. I recently watched Dr Romantic S1 again and I was so pleased by his charms and acting skills. Kang Dong Joo is my favorite character of his, but Gu Dong Mae of Mr. Sunshine is also unforgettable. He will soon play two opposite roles, one of an ordinary salaryman and one of a psychopath. I'm impatient to see that.

Honestly, I think Sejong's talent is so rare and impressive that he will bounce back soon, now that he has resumed his activities. His good attitude towards people and his sincerity about acting will also help. I also remember that he said in interviews that he had learnt from Han Suk Gyu that an actor should aim for a long career. So I believe that he will be here for a long time.
Please refrain from slandering a costar of YSJ. I find it sad on this page.
Your opinion could be debated on YYS's page, but not on YSJ's page. Like I said, it is not right to post such controversial statement about YSJ's costar on YSJ's page.
Please refrain from slandering a costar of YSJ. I find it sad on this page.
I understand your comment about your preference of male lead for S1, and I respect that since I love YSJ. But YYS doesn't deserve any slander. He is not a bad person. And it's got something to do with YSJ since he's one of YSJ's friends and one of the sunbae who was very good to him when he debuted.
What a shameful list. I'm shocked. To think that you put Yoo Yeon Seok's name next to a guy who's been charged with prostitution of minors, as if it was the same! Yoo Yeon Seok is not a problematic man. He's an actor who's been well-loved by his costars for years, and he should not be defamed like this. It's also schocking to see Park Hae Jin here under the charge (!) of being "rude and possibly fatphobic". Not only are these not a crime, but what with the "possibly"??? Even based on vague suspicion, you put the guy on the same list as sexual assaulters? And poor Yoo Ah In, suddenly pinned a "misogynist". You're confusing everything : people who have been really charged with crimes, people who have been accused or defamed bythe press, and people who simply have opinions that you don't like (the majority). You should list yourself in this list, because what you did is problematic.
I actually like ahn hyo seop more than Yo Yun Seok. Ahn give more tension and dynamic to his character than yo…
To me that's the opposite. AHS's acting is too uneven and lacks strength. YYS has much more expertise in acting and self-confidence. He is also very good in comedy.
I’ve been waiting for this guy since 2O18. Since discovering him in 30 but 17 then shortly stalking his admittedly…
I think he debuted during his last year as a student. He was studying acting in Korean University of Arts, one of the best place for this. Everything went fast for him from this moment.
I'm a huge fan of Dr Romantic season 1 (I'm currently rewatching it for the 3rd time) and I will forever be disappointed by the change of leads in season 2. The 2 young actors were not at all at the same level of Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin, and their characters' issues were too close to those of S1, except that the writing lacked inspiration this time. In S1 it was exhilarating to see all those hurt but passionate doctors slowly getting along and then cooperating brillantly in the OR. The surgery scenes in S1 were also epic. I'm glad there is a S3, but the casting is a disappointment. I really miss the chemistry between Han Suk Kyu, Yoo Yeon Seok, Seo Hyun Jin, Yang Se Jong and the incredible ensemble cast.
