I can't wait to see the genius actor Yang Se Jong act again ! He's not only gorgeous and extremely talented, but he's also known for choosing his projects well. He was so mesmerizing in My Country: The New Age (his last big project before enlistment). With The Girl Downstairs, he's acting as usual in a project led by a good director, so we can really anticipate something special. As for Suzy, I've also followed her since her debut drama. I liked her back in 2013 in Gu Family Book, and she was good in Vagabond . I'm glad that she is now taking more challenging roles like in Anna and The Girl Downstairs. Se Jong and Suzy will illuminate the screen with their dreamy visuals. I'm looking forward to something cute and sexy.
I will forever be thankful to Lee Jong Jae for directing the wonderful sci-fi thriller Duel. His directing is superb, both efficient and soulful, and matched well the thriller genre. In Duel, he created many memorable shots and scenes. He is also the director who unleashed acting genius Yang Se Jong's full potential in the first half of 2017. I want to add that Lee Jong Jae also directed "Another Oh Hae Young", which is missing in his credits here on MDL.
The project looks exciting and I'd love to see Nam Joo Hyuk in this. I liked his acting very much in Twenty-Five Twenty-One, and I'm curious to watch him now in a drama without romance.
I've heard a lot of good things about the original drama, so this is obviously a signal for me to watch it. Because if it is as good as people say, I don't want to ruin it by watching the remake first. To me, Ahn Hyo Seop is not good enough to lead this kind of project. Jeon Yeo Bin is a better actress but a bit old for the part, from what I've seen. Anyway, I'll watch it later because of the director.
What a lovely comment. What I like about him is he's not chasing fame or clout. He does his job, and takes time…
His maturity in acting is indeed very appealing, and quite unique for a young man of his age. I also like Sung Hoon the most, although Seo Hwi from My Country is a close second in my heart, followed by On Jung Sun. But Sung Hoon is truly unforgettable, haha. I saw in a comment below that you asked about his real-life personality. If you haven't watched it yet, I recommend you the reality show Coffee Friends. Not only is the show a true gem in itself, but Se Jong's personality is so endearing that it's impossible not to fall completely for him. :)

Thank you ! Se Jong's dedication to acting is indeed fascinating. He is a true method actor. And like you said, he also knows how to value the important things in life. It's true that he declined a lot of offers after Temperature of Love. I remember he said in a interview that one of these offers was from a very famous film director, the "once in 10 years" kind of offer. That's why I think he has strong potential, along with a few 20-something actors, to become a big and long lasting star - and not just a "trend". I've felt it when I watched his incredible acting in Duel. Considering how he has quickly landed solid lead roles ever since, even in a high budget drama (My Country), I keep thinking that. I like your comparison with Han Suk Gyu because apparently he gave Se Jong great advice during the Dr Romantic era. When Se Jong made a special appearance in Dr Romantic 2, he exuded this kind of charisma. He was so impressive. It will be so interesting to see him build his career with that smartness of his after his return from the mililary.
Yang Se Jong is the best acting discovery of the last decade in Korea. His acting is pure art. His gaze has incredible depth and his way of expressing emotions is so detailed, powerful and mature, much more than other actors of his age. His acting in Duel, My Country and Temperature of Love is especially outstanding. He is also the smartest when it comes to chosing his projects. He doesn't accept any project blindly like many young actors as he is not looking for popularity, but for good roles . He is passionate about acting, and all of his works so far are quality dramas, helmed by good directors. Yang Se Jong is not only exceptionally talented and smart, but he is also gorgeous. He is handsome, cute and sexy, without even trying. I can't wait to watch him do wonders in other dramas but also on the big screen when he comes back from the military. An actor of this caliber should absolutely grace the big screen too.
I have some questions. Sung Hoon was still fine thanks to the shots provided by the chairman's daughter , but…
I think Sung Hoon's health is worse than Sung Joon's because of the experiments he had to endure for years like you said, but also because he is an alcoholic. Whenever he drinks a lot (which happens quite often), he feels pain not long after. Sung Hoon is such a tragic character... I love him.
Hwayugi's first 2 episodes were 100x times more enjoyable than this. With much better lead and supporting actors,…
It's indeed a different style of drama. But I'm not confident it will end up better than Hwayugi. It lacks energy, fantasy and exciting acting. I just hope it succeeds in keeping some mystery throughout the episodes.
Although it's probably the drama I'm waiting for the most, I have some serious doubts about it. Firstly, the male…
Yang Se Jong is a phenomenal actor. He delivered such a mind-blowing performance in Duel that the Korean journalists called him the "monster rookie" in 2017. Woo Do Hwan is also very good but he has yet to deliver a performance of this level. Yang Se Jong also gathered all the best new actor awards (including Baeksang) for his excellent performance in Temperature of Love. Hence Yang Se Jong is the lead. I think it will be very interesting to watch the 2 act together.
PBY is my favorite actress but I can't give this thing a high rating. It's the worst drama I've ever seen. Looking…
"Feel like I should get a medal for finishing this mess." LOL. I finished it yesterday after struggling a lot and your words perfectly sum up my feelings... :)
Loving this so far; I'm actually glad it's a mystery genre. Feels like I haven't enjoyed one of those in a while.…
He's back to his normal self. He had explained during the promotion of Thirty But Seventeen last year that he had lost too much weight because of the rower training he did for the drama. He's better-looking with his cheeks back.
What a retarded comment. There are age gaps in most fictions all over the world, mainly at the man's advantage,…
It's hilarious to see that you were that affected by my comment. Anyway, let me remind you that you don't own the website. And since you spend so much time writing unpleasant things there, don't act as if you didn't expect some (well-deserved) backlash.
