this is like the complete j-drama formula. it's full of cliches and second hand embarrassment sm that you'd want to cry. the plot is nothing new and the characters are very common archetypes. SO WHY DID I ENJOY THIS SO MUCH?! it just felt like a comfort to watch and it was almost nostalgic even though I had never seen it. It reminds me of a classic early-mid 2000s j drama.
