I haven't watched the original story/movie (Western version, ZE's), I heard that the old DY appeared only for 10 minutes in that movie (please correct me if I am wrong), so maybe they are following the same script? hmmm
Also, maybe the writer/director's "exposing" LDH's to this kind of scene and see if it'll work and how the audience will react and if he can actually can pull this one. I think the viewer's were having mixed reaction about this one and it's good in some way.

I feel so awkward actually at first while watching that drama, funny thing is YSH is also the main actor there, lol. I feel like hearing Lee Seunggi's song "Because Noona Is My Girl" at the background and having goosebumps. ahahah! Maybe you can just skip the scenes that you feel that is gross. :) But yeah, as much as I don't mind the kiss, I feel also that they could've swapped the older DY for that particular scene.
