Agreeee!!! Also his character is believable as well. He decides and acts like what a real General would do in a given situation. Also the ML for that drama studied martial arts in real life at a very young age (7 yrs old), so he handles weapons with ease. :)

Not sure if you've watched The Sleepless Princess, I think his body structure is one of the most "credible" type. He can carry the FL with ease and not paper thin. :)

Are you referring to the General's Lady or this drama? As for the General's Lady, I was lol'ing when he was carrying the FL when she fainted at ep.2 lmaoooo! You can see how he struggled! For this one, is it the "cabinet" scene? I read that ML was being critized for wearing a body suit to have a 6 pack effect! Sad because I think he doesn't need to wear one actually.

I really don't mind him suffering as long as he's gonna end up with the FL (i.e. LAR), at this rate I am just going to torture myself, lmaooo! I really want to watch it because of CY believe me, but it's hard especially it's a long drama and the ending is sooo sad!!! So yeah, it's a hard pass for me. Sad, I wanted to watch more of his drama as ML.

The FL is beautiful actually, prolly because she looks way mature than him and her role in LAR, hahaha! But yeah, viewers said that she fits her for the later part. :)

Lmao, really? It's not body shaming but you can see that it's real. And yes, it's very alarming! Even the behind the scenes were so fun to watch, the ML's usually struggles to carry their FL's, to the point that the FL's are getting bashed for being "heavy" which they're not. lol (i.e The Romance of Tiger and Rose- Ryan Ding and Lusi, Ryan needed to defend Lusi from basher saying she's not heavy at all, lol)

I found the FL funny at first, with her mini escapades and everything, but it gets really annoying slowly, so I put it on hold for now (Oh My Sweet Liar).
She's like a toddler wreaking havoc here and there. She was "supposed to be pregnant" but she keeps on doing crazy stuff that would put her and ML in jeopardy. She started the lie anyway so she's the one who needs to be very cautious with her demeanor. lol

I am also watching the General's Lady, 3 eps is out. Funny thing is, the only "General" I found credible right now (body structure wise) is the one from The Sleepless Princess, hahaha! Some general and martial arts master in cdramas are usually paper thin/A4 body type (but someone explained this, so now I understand why then need to shed a lot of weight). Don't get me wrong I loveee the ML in TGL. It's just funny how he struggled to carry the FL. lmaoooo!

Me too, still waiting for that drama to finished before diving in. lol. I heard that the Promise of Chang'An is from an older story which CY's character will die. No way I am going to torture myself seeing CY suffer for nothing.

Another commentor said, the FL looks "motherly" beside CY. lol. I can't get pass the idea that the FL's character was the wife of one of the sect leader in LAR and now she's his love interest. CY is older by a year but because he looks young maybe that's why they said that she looks much older than CY. Nothing against the FL btw.
