There's a few versions of this story, but the story tells about the King's deep dark secret that was revealed!
According to the source posted by nationsmaknae below, Kangtae who had a great time on his first trip received a phone call from an unexpected person.
If the writer's going to follow the fairytale, then there's a deep, dark secret that's going to be revealed soon. Most likely from KT's side since he's the one who received a call from an unexpected person.
Actually, most Hans Christian Andersen and Grimm's fairy tales were all dark in nature. They were kinda "romantised"…
You're welcome! Glad it helps a little. There's a lot more if you'd try to google them, they are from different fairy tale writers but these are just some of the example from the well known one.
Miro - you're awesome. I tried searching for the story behind this and failed. What a tragic, tragic song.
Thanks! I know right? Clemetine was murdered by her own dad! Same thing almost happened to MY, dad tried to kill her. Based on the song, mom left them, so maybe MY's mom's still alive? hmmm
Here's the real story behind that song Oh my Darling Clementine.
-Based on this story, is it possible that MY's dad sees MY as his WIFE (hallucination? they look alike?)? Did MY's mom left them? Interesting!
There was a husband (Neil), a wife (Mary-Ann) and their daughter Clementine. Neil wanted to move to California because there's a talk of gold rush and he wanted to be rich. His wife, Mary-Ann doesn't want to move because she had no interest in leaving the life they'd working hard to build for one of fake promises. So they had an argument and told her husband to take Clemetine with him, Mary-Ann left the house and never came back.
So to make the story short, both Father and daughter left and moved to California. There Neil traded many things from the house for pick-axes, sifters, knee-high boots, gloves, sleeping bags, and tents. Clem was sad to see her mother's thing being sold, but then she remembered the months of fun and riches to come. Clementine and Neil walked over to the campsite and searched for a good spot. They found the perfect spot, a distance from the other miner's tents. There, 3 little, yellow ducklings popped out from behind a rock. Clementine asked her dad if she could keep them, and Neil said yes.
The ducklings and Clementine played by the mine's foamy water. The ducklings loved splashing about in the bubbles and Clementine loved seeing them so happy. While the ducklings and Clementine played, Neil searched and sifted for gold. They did this every day for a week and a half. But one day when Neil looked over he saw Mary-Ann playing with those ducklings. Of course it was Clementine but Neil was blinded by anger. He put down his pick-ax and stormed to Clementine. "Mary-Ann this is for deserting us!"Neil yelled and pushed Clementine into the foaming brine. Clementine screamed, she didn't know how to swim. Neil snapped out of his trance. But it was too late. Clementine drowned and died.
