Also the reason why Zhoushen Ren mother dies cause she was a spy for the authority. The family found out and ordered the execution on the family yacht.

So the authority have always wanted to take down the Zhou family cause they are pretty powerful and very tight through their network and connection.

Eventually Zhou Wen will have it coming to him.

I agree with this. I read this novel cause i needed closure from O&O and could not wait for F&F to come out. But so far its been pleasent.

Recently I've seen the bl drama addicted and boy the drama doesn't compare to the details in the novel. But glad ive seen the drama first. Cause now i have something to run my imagination with lol.

I don't think anyone got framed. Its more like they got issues with the authority because what Zhou wen did. But never framed in that perspective

She found out when she received his last message "Chen, in this life, never forsook the world and has only forsaken Eleven" in the novel. This is when she realised of his passing and how he was being set up.

Its when her mother was able to visit SY, and first thing she said is ZSC rebel and then said luckily Cui family fkund out and help stopped him. While the eunch was out side listening in on their conversation. This scene portray that bith her mum and her know its not true. Hence why the mum agreed to be the messenger and give SY the last message from ZSC.

This then repeated itself saying he is innocent when she was on the way to the airport in the cab, cause of her memory.

They did down play that part from the novel where it said the CUI and the CP conspired against ZSC that caused his capture and execution by using SY as bait.

I know right. But his first time being in rship, love and marriage. Poor boy dont know what to do, what is ok and not ok.

Ren mum is a spy thats why she had to go. She is not connected with anyone.

She completely trusted him csuse of his nature his beautiful bones want to do good for others and not selfish. Her family owed him a big debt is her wanting to protect him and support him in any way she can. Her defying the speed of their relationship is cause she doesnt want to miss out this time round. She just want to be with him forever and ever connected to how she felt in the spoiler from Yunxi. 🙂

Totally agree with you here. Thats the impression i got as well. When his underlings took the docs of ZSC and SY marriage document and left. I think this is where Mei Xing found out.

You've made a very valid point in this. They did write this into O&O on the ep 23 where her mum explained to her what happen. And said how CUI family assisted in ZSC capture. But Shiyi deep down knows that is not true, as thats what was publicised.

For SY her decision is very much the same regardless if her family is involved or not. She just want to be with the one she love. She only return to palace cause to protect his reputation like what her mother suggested. Now that he is gone, she doesnt care anymore.

I get what you're depicting, but the drama is almost the same as what it is as per the novel.

The ML and FL took forever to get intimate. Because they are only getting to know each other. Plus he dont want to impose on her lifestyle unless its ok by her. This is out of respect he have for her. They changed it alittle for the drama where he is more considerate. In the novel he is more accertive and im sure you wont like it one bit.

E.g them registering their marriage together. In the novel he registered their marriage and changed her citizenship without her consent. Due to some issue with the law and family drama that cause their cancellation of engagement. He only did it to protect her and him legally. Is this the type of protection and the overpowerment you would like to see in the drama?

It is the character of the zsc and not because the AR actor have rules of certain intimacy while acting.

I have certain drama i watch to get certain feels, cause i sometimes also want to feel certain way when watching a drama. So i get where you're coming from with this.

I understand where you're coming from. Being a modern day dramaML should take up the characteristics of how people behave and deal with these type of mother in law in the current time.

However as you can see this drama is more of an old tradition concept type of drama. Where no matter how unreasonable the elder can get, you respect the elders and not talk back (big culture difference between eastern and western). ZSC has stood his ground regardless of the rejection of him marrying SY, he went ahead and did it anyway without the grand wedding. This in itself is him standing up for her (like his dad eloping with his mum and left the family until after ZSC mothers death does the father return to the family home). Though its not a grand wedding but if you speak in the language of love. As long 2 hearts are as 1 it doesnt matter if they have the grand wedding. WHICH i am sure is an IOU to SY later one in the drama.

Beside ZSC is a researcher not a business person though he have the mindset for it. He still need to take over the family affair before he can achieve the goodness for all through his research and family investment, hence the rush in the wedding as old tradition to become a man of the house you need to be married.

Not all love story is the same, and we appriciate this slow burn drama with details, compared to the unrealistic rush overly protive ML like all other dramas can get predictable and boring at times.

Hopefully this can give you another view to the drama.

As for O&O zsc was the protective one over SY he sacrificed alot. And SY felt like she havent done enough for him. Therefore in F&F she's the protective one through memories she have, she will trust and protect him with all she have.

As per her last msg to ZCS before she jumpped to her death in O&O "ZSC, i am here to marry you. If we meet again next life, hope you come to marry me, will you ? I'lltake your silent as a yes" this show how much she loves him pass or present.

Zsc last msg to SY before he got executed is "Chen, throughout my life I've not let anyone down, but Shiyi" and this is what he is in redemption for in F&E, to repay her love and be with her no matter what the obstacles/rejection are from his side of the family.

He is a good character in the novel through and through. Hope they keep it like that for the drama.

My guess is Cui Feng SY cousin who renounced his Cui family name to take after Zhou to avenge his death. Also could be why the Zhousheng do not get involved with politics and government as a family rule.

Please tell me im not the only one in tears when they decided to get married, ZSC waiting for SY to give him an answer. Him waiting for her outside the marrige registry. It was such a proud moment. Glad they changed this up from the novel.

Also i believe Mei Xing found out SY was the girl he fell in love at first sight. From the marriage register paperwork, hence why he was in a foul mood and gottwn drunk. At the same time try to avoid meeting her, incase he cant control his feelings. Strong msg is he got power of attorney over ZSC fortune. He asked the questiong "aren't you afraid i will sell you out?". Want to see if they will keep this character true to the novel.
