Just finished ep 1 and it's somewhat intriguing, does it get better and should I continue? There's some other…
The drama is a nice mix of mystery and romance - like no other.
I would give it at least to ep 4, which had the best cliffhanger!
And I think the first two eps were a bit slow, but it actually made the actions of the FL that much more effective, since you become more invested in the leads. They basically build up the ML to take him down a peg.
I started binging this drama just as much (if not more) than Business Proposal, exactly because it is different...two eps every Tuesday. It's very good!
I really love his expression. What won me over was how he looked at her when he found out she was the little girl…
I wholeheartedly agree! And also how he saw his mistake in his past reactions towards her... and when he admits to Qin Xuan how he feels (and won't give her up). I loved that.
It is a well-made film with a great cast - I love the main leads, especially Lee Jun Young. There's good chemistry, a fun and interesting plot as well as great camera angles that make it delicious to watch. Enjoy!
I really hate the ending - so unsatisfying - and kinda creepy: he finds her in the future, but now has to raise her to be his wife, or something? Ew. Why not just find her as an adult in stead and let them live on their island with two kids? This is fantasy, you know!
If you think he likes the FL then it's not the case. He doesn't have any feelings for the FL but he has his own…
He's really devious in that his only goal is to support Luo Xiao Yi - which has already harmed the team as a whole (and lost them a good player). He seriously annoys me and I just want him gone... I think Yu Bing Ling was right to leave: his agenda is to only promote Luo Xiao Yi no matter the cost. She saw through him and left, which was the right move.
*Welcome to spoilers galore* My thoughts while watching this drama: - I totally ship the female and male lead from ep 1 onwards - The female lead is driven and so is the male lead; this is a match made in heaven - Yeah, Fu Wei Luh (playing Qu Zhi) from "My Little Happiness" is in this! He's so good. - I love how Shen Zhen Yi and Shao Bei Sheng are low-key dating from like day 1 of their meeting each other...and how he can't let go because he has fallen for her. (and she wants to let go because she's fallen for him but wants to do the right thing...) - the female coach may seem annoying (and unfair) at first, but she's actually really professional and spot on in her assessment of her team's players. - the male coach should just leave - or go marry that Luo Xiao Yi girl (the actress is quite good!) I'm sick of his machinations. Everything is for her and he basically ruined the team. - I like the childhood friend, Li Mi, who's going to push and help the male lead - I kinda hope Li Mi will hook up with Xiao Qing, since their clinginess with compliment each other (but I don't think that will happen) - the pacing of this drama is really great; the combination of youth drama, sports and romance is balanced really well. It makes me think of Gank Your Heart, which balances gaming/romance well. - I can't wait for Shen Zhen Yi and Shao Bei Sheng to be an official couple and support each other in the trials ahead.
Just finished watching it now.. Only watched a very few kdramas as well as Chinese dramas but this one really…
If you like this drama, then I would recommend watching "Unforgettable Love", "Boss & Me", "Lucky's First Love", "My Little Happiness", "You Are so Sweet" and "The Fox's Summer". If you really like Shen Yue, then try watching "Meteor Garden": she's great in that as well.
I saw this ages ago and thought it was cute for the most part, albeit a bit short. I just learned that it is based on the manga series "Defying Kurosaki-kun" which can be found in an online book store. Yeah :)

It was refreshing to see Lusi Zhao and Xu Kai acting different types of characters than they usually do. The story itself is good, but rushed in places since you never get to see the adult relationship truly bloom between the main leads. In fact, you see more of their childhood relationship than anything else and that just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth regarding the "brother-to-not-brother-but-true-love" trope. It's not my favourite to begin with, but it lacked a lot here. However, as far as I understand, it is based on a longer Korean drama with 16 episodes, so that explains it! I was disappointed in the ending...it was way too open-ended and just left the viewer feeling frustrated. I expected some sort of happy ending and it did NOT deliver.
I just read the book ("Time" from Foxaholic translations) and also got the same vibes as Love O2O (or "A Slight Smile is Very Charming" by Gu Man), so I'm REALLY looking forward to this! (〜^∇^)〜
I'm so excited for this - I just finished reading the novel: it's soo good and I kept thinking it should be a drama and fortunately it is! I can't wait (⁀ᗢ⁀)

Wow, I can see many of her books have been made into dramas - so cool (^^)b
