I completely agree (especially with the Hamlet reference). This drama is so well-made in every way that counts: plot (pacing), acting, secondary characters, cinematography/costumes and even kissing. I can't wait for the next eps.

I thought the break-up was his rejection in ep 14-15...? Oh, wait, maybe something will happen when she learns about his father and the connection to her father's accident. That could cause friction (even if his father is innocent).

Yes, exactly - I know the leads and second leads are different romance stories, but I would just have liked to see that development in the end (shown through a passionate kiss, as it also happens in normal couples). But I will miss this story - it really had me hooked all the way through. I agree with you that the writers did an amazing job here. I don't think I've laughed out loud so much at a drama in a while.

I think they tried to portray an "innocent" love story with the main leads and a more "passionate" love story with the second leads. I prefer if my main leads also have a steamy kiss. (Like in "You Are My Glory")

That is true - although Netflix is better at picking up the new, popular cdramas (like the First Frost), but certain shows never make it to a wider audience. This is also true for kdramas - I really liked Salon de Nabi (2022), but it had limited airing (still does).

Yeah, I thought so as well. I really like her natural voice, so I'm a bit saddened that it's a voice actor - but I guess it's part of the job in China, in order to be competitive. Also, I'm not sure the actors always have a choice.

In "Perfect and Casual" (2020) her voice doesn't sound as soft as this....maybe she is using the same voice actor - or simply changing her tone when recording her dubbing voice.

Is it the real voice of Xu Ruo Han? I think it is a voice actor - and noticed a few on the cast and credit list, but no mention of who they were voicing for. Is that common? Since you can tell anyways. A bit sad to me...

Did he attack her? Or even *ape her? I have a bad feeling and want to be prepared, mentally.

The grandfather and Su Hao An's elderly dog dies in ep.16 and I was not prepared, having just lost my cat. So I will leave this for others. I had to fast-forward a bit here since the pet funeral became a bit much for me. It improves in ep.17, though.

I often re-watch "You Are My Glory" because it's so good (and "Go Ahead" is a classic). Other recommendations: "Hidden Love" and "When I fly towards you" (same writer as this one).

Also "Our Secret" and "Road Home" (the last one is very wintery and slow-burn). If you want to try a slowburn c-drama with a gaming element: "Falling Into Your Smile" (2021) and "Love O2O" (2016). More modern ones that I have re-watched: "unforgettable Love" and "My Little Happiness".

K-dramas slow-burn w. adult FL: "Romance is a Bonus Book" and "Oh My Venus".
