I am not really a fan of historical dramas that take place during the Chinese republic era, but so far this has been so good. I initially decided to watch it since I'm a fan of the male lead but my God, the casting for this drama is spot on. The actress is so good at portraying the feeling of the character I found myself crying when she was crying, the last time I probably cried during a drama was when I watched Ancient Love poetry, please don't skip this one. The casting, music, editing, lighting, everything is immaculate to the point you feel immersed in the drama.
