Amazing adaptation
I've watched 14/32 episodes so far, and I can say I'm loving it. I might even say I'm suffering withdrawals from the lack of episodes to watch. I can't wait to see where this goes, it is a truly amazing drama, please give it a watch. The first few episodes are a bit cringey but once you get past that, it'll be smooth sailing. Was this review helpful to you?
Came for Cheng Lie stayed for Xu Rouhuan
I am not really a fan of historical dramas that take place during the Chinese republic era, but so far this has been so good. I initially decided to watch it since I'm a fan of the male lead but my God, the casting for this drama is spot on. The actress is so good at portraying the feeling of the character I found myself crying when she was crying, the last time I probably cried during a drama was when I watched Ancient Love poetry, please don't skip this one. The casting, music, editing, lighting, everything is immaculate to the point you feel immersed in the drama. Was this review helpful to you?
