I thought I won't mind the age gap but they knowingly make drama like this to make people uncomfortable-
The childhood scenes between them were unnecessary and awkward.They could have cast another young, grown man to play the flashback scene, but no,they just had to use this old ass guy in scenes with that 8 year old kid, complete with romantic bgm
ML doesn’t mind getting kissed by another girl but says he loves his wife? FL says she loves ML but she'll find someone else to have an affair? FL's cousin asks her to marry him in front of the ML and then kisses the ML? The cousin only stops pursuing her when she says she is still virgin and then he arranges a room for our main leads?
This is the problem with jdrama. The characters don't behave like real people. Besides the kisses are very bad. It's like two dead fish kissing
I'll not drop it because episodes are short. I'm watching ep 5 and already bored.
Watched a thai drama after ages. This type of drama is so bad that it’s funny. Young me would be fuming over this
ML - He's delulu, shameless and a r*pist FL - Don't know ehat I feel about her. She doesn’t know when to shut up. She keeps talking back to her r*pist but stay mum when her sister ask something about it. It's so illogical like her r*pist says if she doesn’t go with him in a deserted place, he will slap her sister and she somehow thinks her getting rped is better than her sister getting slapped. Then again he threatens to r*pe her in the car. She thinks getting rped in an apartment would be better than a car in the middle of the road. When her sister asks about it, she says it’s not a big deal.
What makes it better than the other dramas with similar theme- 1) ML doesn’t accuse FL of being a prostitute/mistress (which is very common in thai dramas) 2) ML doesn’t go to other girls 3) There's no obsessive lover or family members 4) ML doesn’t force her to come back (the irony)
FL's family members are another piece of arts. They call the rpist FL's husband after knowing that their girl was rped (Don't know what kind of cultural difference is this)

Still I prefer season 1 to it.Maybe I liked the aesthetics of S1 more.
But did they reveal why Maeda hated FL's mother?
