The leads will still be the same. I think this drama was originally supposed to be 35 episodes, but then they split it into two seasons. Season 2 will have 15 episodes. It has not aired yet.
I remember the days when this drama had the highest views on drama sites like Mysoju because it was first on the list alphabetically. xD
Rewatching this as I wait for new episodes to come out for the remake. Definitely like the remake much better (and not because it's old and outdated). Even if you were to exclude the amount of manhandling and dickery (which was considered "normal" in kdramaworld at the time), it's just slow and drags a lot. I love the cast though!
This drama and the female lead really grew on me, especially after like 10 episodes. It has a great group of friends. It is worth sticking around to see the dynamic of their friendship. They make a cute and funny team.
So if you haven't seen a lakorn with the main actor or actress before, I highly suggest you watch Jao Sao Chapor Kit before watching this. It's one of the lighter, happier lakorns starring both as the main couple. After watching Game Payabaht, you might have a negative impression of them and may end up hating them for life. xD (unless you're into slap/kiss revenge plots - in which case, this is the drama for you).
The main female character is so dull. =___=. Had a really tough time getting through this drama. The plot was terrible and dragged. Loved Zhang Vin and his character in this though. His character brings out the best in the female lead tbh.
Wait, WHAT!??? what kind of ending was that. I mean, it wasn't so bad, but I wish they'd shown us who she chose. I'm pretty sure she went with Jin Rui though.
I've only watched 4 episodes subbed so far and it hasn't been updated since May. I'm going to drop this drama for now because it's terrible (even for typical lakorn standards). The only reason I wanted to continue was to see if anything improves after the time skip...but I really doubt it will.
This season is a waste of time unless you are watching for Ji Chang Wook. Basically, skip to the last two episodes to figure out what happened story wise.
