Please anyone who is on the fence about watching this series just based on the 7.9 rating on this site - ignore and watched it. It is a really well done (and hilarous too- oil spitting etc- lol) drama. Loved it! Takeuchi Ryoma really impressed me with this one!

Haha I really enjoyed that scene!

Watching Pursit of Jade and she reminds me of Hikari Mitsushima. Anyway as my first time watching her I am enjoying her performance so far :)

Every now and then I think of this man....I miss him! Strange how someone you never met before can have such a profound impact on your life. Thank you Miura Haruma <3

Just started watching this and I am already hooked. I really like the pacing and angst is always a win haha

I am always reminded to be careful when I see the ratings low for a Japanese drama on this site. Of course there are not so good japanese dramas but this is a good example where I went in with low excpection because of the rating and was shocked how good and gripping from the get go. I am halfway through and it is great imo. The cast is brilliant and Shibisaka Kou and Suzuki Honami in particular are *chef's kiss*

I came here to say the same thing. I was thinking this could be Rickman's son! Lol

Always think this Kato Masaya looks like an older Ryo Yoshizawa

I came here just to look for this comment haha. I am watching Eternal Love now and I thought the same thing!

Amazon Prime UK has the full series on now. Don't know what country you are in but it is worth taking a look on Amazon Prime.

Amazon Prime UK has the full series (subbed) now! Finally I can finish this lol

Yeah Yell was pretty brutal but I think I felt it even more in Anpan- at one point I was surprised with some of the scenes I even had a young family member (under 10) being scared. They were enjoying Anpan up to that point lol. I am still enjoying the series though! :)

Watching him in Doctor X Season in which he guest stars in and I can't help but think he looks like an Older Okada Masaki

Lol that is what I want to understand.

Man this is cheesy at times but I don't care I'm swooned loool.

He really is! >.<

I want to see her in other roles. She was captivating as Date Masamune's mother in Dokuganryū Masamune!

Kanno Misuzu has been popping up in some of the dramas I have been watching these last 12 months and I really like her acting. Something about her says regal :)

This picture that MDL has right now does not do this man justice. I am watching Minato's Coin Laundry and when looking at the actors I only confirmed it was him as Sakuma. Talented and Handsome man :-)

Yes, this too! Although things are getting better now in ways of Netflix and Prime etc but yeah, Japan also didn't help when it comes to broadcasting their shows to the global market unless it 's big productions such as Alice in Borderland or films like 13 Assassins, Battle Royale and the classics from the 20th century. Boy I know I have struggled in the past living in the west to get Japanese content subbed before I started learning Japanese. Now it is much better...but in terms of ratings on this site there seems to be always a lower rating average towards even the most critically acclaim and amazing Japanese productions in my opinion.
